      I bought their top of the line products. Tried out an annual service plan. Didn't use it. They charged me the following two years on autobill...which I didn't notice. I tried to cancel the day they charged me this year but they refused to give me a refund. I guess I won't buy their over-priced devices ever again.

      GoPro is an utter and incandescent ripoff. In the old days when consumer advocates and journalists cared about the little guy getting screwed theyd at the least embarrass the fraudsters. Now, the supposed consumer advocates and journalists are on the fraudster rip-off artists payrolls.

      I purchased a gopro hero 10 less than 1 year ago. My front screen recently stopped working. I contacted gopro. After I completed their lengthy picture submission process, they told me the pictures were not good enough. I final was able to satisfy there picture needs, only to find out that they will not ship my replacement camera until they receive the old broken one. I work with my camera every day and cannot be without one. I explained this to them and they did not care. Overall they have a terrible customer service process and there return process is a joke. hoping to get my replacement camera in 5-7 business days.

      This same experience from another customer almost exactly. "The ********************** is nice but beware of the scam they pull on you. They give you the "free" subscription and then charge you $50 the next year. It says one year subscription but it doesn't start when you get the camera, it's on the order date, which is a week before you get the actual camera and a day before a confirmation email is sent. Even if you're one hour late they don't care, "too bad" they say. Would never buy anything from this company stay far far away. nice product terrible, terrible, customer service. If there is even a remote possibility that you need to contact them for a warranty, firmware update, PC compatibility, or subscription service. Don't buy your better off throwing it in the garbage then getting help from this company."

      I ordered a GoPro 11 with accessories on March 2nd. On March 8th I received an email that my camera had been delivered. It had not. I called on March 8th and explained that it had not been delivered. They opened a claim which they said would take up to 5 business days. It is now April 4th and they refuse to return my calls; there has been no resolution to my claim; and I'm out over $400. They have lied to me in each of the conversations that I've had, although they went radio silent about two weeks ago. Their customer service is non-existent and they owe me my money back. I was buying the camera for my 15 year old's school trip to ***** on April 8th. I made them aware of that on March 8th and asked for a **************** to the matter.Buyer beware.

      If I could give zero stars I would. I was charged $50 without any notification that a charge is going to come through for any kind of subscription. I do not remember signing up for any subscription, when I called I was told they mustve bought a bundle that came with the subscription, and then I must not have approved notifications for rebilling. I get emails from GoPro all the time, so I doubt I wouldve blocked a notification saying they were going to charge me money. I canceled my subscription before calling. I was then told that they do not refund subscriptions, even if the subscription has been active from a charge with no notification for less than 24 hours. Their solution was to make me use the $50 they took as a credit in their store. I was so disgusted that I will not sell my GoPro but instead will throw it away. As far as Im concerned, GoPro is a mediocre product, in a company managed by crooks, stealing from their customers. They have lost a customer for life.

      Exploding Lithium Batteries: I have two GoPro branded batteries that while in storage expanded, exposing the internal components. One from 2022 and one from 2021. I reached out to their customer service today to let them know. At first their representative tried to blame the problem on me and then quickly informed me I was not eligible for replacement. I was fully aware of the warranty; I was just trying to warn them about their faulty batteries and the potential risk this batch of batteries may have. They would not take any such information from me, and shocking did not even offer advice of how to safely dispose of them. With all the worry over lithium ion these days its sad to see a company the size of GoPro show so little care for it.

      Im yet another person that has been SCAMMED by GoPro through their subscription service.. I canceled the subscription multiple times and still got charged! There was also no way to remove my credit card information from my account on the website! I had proof to show them and they didnt want to accept that and basically told me to kick rocks. I will never buy another GoPro product ever after this experience.

      Called Customer support in January regarding some audio issues when recording with my hero 8 black. ******* and I did all the troubleshooting steps with no resolution. ******* then advised that they would send a hero 10 black for the inconvenience as well as return instructions for the defected hero 8. Waited over a month with no update. I called customer service on ****** for an update. ******* could not give me any info. they just kept talking like nothing happened and sent return instructions. i then asked when i would receive the hero 10 black like the original rep said. they denied and said they could replace the product once they received the defective camera. This frustrated me as they went back and basically fed me BS so i would give them a good survey score. So now i am sending back a defective camera and expecting them to mess this up further. i fully expect to have more issues when all I want is my orignal camera to work. I will be canceling all of my gopro subscriptions and avoid their products.

      Absolute horrible customer support for a defective ********************** mini 11 after my first use of the product. After weeks and numerous phone calls and emails, I finally got a return label for a replacement. I ended up not having a camera for many outings during the timeframe GoPro customer service jerked me around. I wish I never got this item and went with another action camera. See my full review on sitejabber, on February 26, 2023, as I do not have enough room on here. I also sent one to GoPro, but it is highly unlikely they will display the review.
