We did not have a good experience at all. We normally don't make these posts, but we are at the end of the rope. Took 6 weeks to purchase parts for my washer and then another 3 weeks estimated for delivery and an undetermined time to install. We decided to cancel the policy and just buy a washer. We requested cancellation in May and still have not received a refund. Our account is still active....Each time we called we were on holf for 30 min, only to be transferred and wait another hour, to be told that we need to call first thing in the morning to be helped....When getting on the phone, the service was not great as questions couldnt be answered. We would not recommend this service to anyone! We understand companies have challenges. We hope ORHP will overcome.

I put in a service call for a plumber to look at my water heater. They did someone out same-day, however that company flat out refused to service the water heater. I had to call a plumbing company outside of Old Republic's network to complete the service, so imagine my surprise when I received a **** for $75 charging me for their referral that showed up and did exactly nothing. Hello All - Old republic home warranty is terrible. Last 3 to 4 months we have been constantly seeing our toilets getting clogged, I raised a service request. The plumber came and unclogged and notified that there is an issue with the toilet that's the reason it gets clogged frequently, and toilet needs to be replaced. Again within a week - toilets get clogged. I need to recall; again the same plumber came and clearly notified that the toilets need an replacement; he said he will go and file a report. Today when I follow-up - the agent refused that there is no failure, just a clog, it was resolved.All I need is an permanent fix for frequent toilet clogging, whatever it takes. Plumber was clear that toilets needs an replacement. But ORHP refusing as there is not failure. I really do not understand failure means that something physically broken?. We cannot use toilets due to frequent clogging which needs an permanent fix. Plumber was clear that it needs to be replaced. I do not understand why ORHP refusing and not treating this as a failure.On top of that in order get an agent on phone - we have to wait for 20 to 25 min on hold to talk to someone . Poor customer service and awful . FYI. I had a ULTIMATE plan which covers all kind of plumbing failures.Please do proper research and read all the comments before you go for home warranty.Old Republic Home Protection

I have had ORHP for 5 years and have had problems with my air conditioner after purchasing my home, and just recently, my refrigerator. One call and to them and within a few hours I received a call back from the company contracted with them, they set an appointment for service for the next business day. They came when expected and repaired the appliances. They've always been friendly and helpful every time. I'm glad I have them.Old Republic Home Protection

It is impossible to reach a person for assistance with anything. My A/C was having issues, they sent out two incompetent companies who thought it was acceptable for the temperature in my house to be 85 degrees plus when the thermostat was set well below that number. Again, could not reach anyone despite being on hold for hours and repeated attempts on many day. Finally hired a company who diagnosed the issue and replaced the unit. 3 more months of the run around from Old Republic and a phone call to the presidents office and Im being reimbursed less than half of my expenses. Its an outright scam, especially since I live in ********* and the heat is brutal. I would never recommend this company.Old Republic Home Protection

No worthy, My AC breaks and they sent the worse company to fixed, they came and they didnt fix it they said that everything works perfectly and **** to tell me that my AC ducts were the problem. They let me with out AC for 7 days. Finally they sent a second company that yea they find the problem quickly, honestly Old Republic should investigate more the companys they hire.Old Republic Home Protection

Old republic is deceiving. I recently moved into a home and the previous owners purchased Old Republic. I had a water leak, they sent out a plumber and a water mitigation team. The plumber was great but the water team was terrible. They did substandard work and charged a hefty sum, none of which was covered under the warranty. They then proposed further work that required spending thousands of dollars more. We fortunately realized the scam and had companies referred to us by nearby home owners and the cost was so much lesser of what we would have paid to the team recommended by Old RepublicOld Republic Home Protection
