      Easily the worst home warranty company . i could have given zero rating , but could not , so giving a 1 star rating 1. i got a water heater installed as part of plan in 2021 2. Apparently it failed the city inspection 3. i recently came to know of it , as i was at ********* applying for a ev permit 4. city is not approving the permit as i have a failed inspection 5. Looks like that old company is no longer working with orhp 6. orhp is saying that they will not pay the money for pulling a new permit so i am stuck and i need serious help out here . Can BBB help me out here

      its nice to see a company that stands behind there product. Made a call to old republic and set up a service call for our central A/C. I did this by phone rather than the automated system. The first company that responded mentioned they were a week out on service appointments . I reached out to Old republic again and they helped get a company out in less than 48 hrs. I wouldn't want to wait a week in the ******* summer for an A/C repair. Lorainna with Old Republic was awesome to deal with as well as **** her manager. We have been customers of ********************** for a few years now and have never had an issue with service or coverage. GREAT JOB ORHP

      Delays, Excuses, and Zero Accountability A Company to Avoid Dealing with Old Republic Home Protection has been an absolute nightmare. If you're trying to get a refund or reimbursement, prepare for a long, frustrating process designed to delay payouts and avoid responsibility.Reaching customer service is nearly impossibleaverage wait times are over 45 minutes, and when you do finally speak with someone, the help is minimal and the attitude dismissive. You truly have better odds getting someone at the ****The real kicker is how they handle reimbursements. Agents routinely quote figures that dont match your contract, and when challenged, the explanation conveniently changes. It feels like the field goal post keeps moving, and they'll do whatever it takes to stall and ultimately pay out ********** make matters worse, the vendors they dispatch are typically low-tier, with 1- or 2-star ratings and questionable reliability. Youre not getting quality servicejust whoever they can find that meets their bottom-line costs.And yet, when it comes time to renew your plan, theyre suddenly very quick to contact youa level of urgency and follow-through thats suspiciously absent when you actually need help.Bottom line: ************* misleading practices, and substandard vendors. Avoid Old Republic Home Protection. There are far better, more reliable options out there.

      Recently contacted Old Republic Home Protection regarding our homes air conditioning unit. Very quick response from a service company that ORHP contacted. I was contact by the service company, appointment set and a great service tech responded and fixed the issue. This is why I am a long time customer of *********************************************.       Employees are rude and give you attitude on the phone. Had me on hold multiple times for over 2 hours! Kept transferring me to another person, wouldnt listen to the issue I was having, then claimed that the company would not cover my issue when I already had approval for the service to be covered. I dont know what happened with your customer service department, but I had no problems with anyone trying to resolve any issues. However this year, your customer service department is horrible! No one wants to help, all they want to do is transfer you to the next person who also cant or wont help resolve your issue.

      24 hour response, kind care representative immediately contacted us, set the appointment, was there on the day and on time. Quickly diagnose the issue had us up and running within an hour. Excellent response and service.

      I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone, extremely poor customer service and they will look for any reason to not cover a service for an appliance after charging you a service fee. Its at the point that even though Im covered I will not bother to call them for any issues related to my homes appliances. Expect when they finally do get back to you after a few days they will cancel your appointment despite initially telling you were covered. Ive had this same issue happen twice now and ended up being forced to wait for an HVAC repair and fridge. Too just pay for both out of pocket
