if I could give it a negative stars I would. I was frustrated with current auto insurance provider and was shopping for another one and a neighbor recommended AAA which I will not be doing ever again.During shopping for the policy this Agent suggested I combine my home owners and auto and umbrella policy. At the time the agent was really helpful to get my business and I ended up switching from Farmers to AAA. I advised that I had an small kids pool that was empty and used as a gardening bed. He said that is no issue what so ever and gladly took my money. The first issue started when the agent forgot to take pics of my primary vehicle. I had to remind him before I left the office, that should have been the first flag. (wish I had seen this site before)He then calls me 3 days later and ask for a bunch of information including my wife vehicle pictures which he initially said he did not need it and then had me to jump through hoops to get the picture. Then after 30 days I get a letter from AAA saying that they are cancelling my insurance due to a kids pool and liability issue? which is BS cause both Farmers and All state did not have any issues. So I contact the same agent via phone call and advise him of the situation. He tells me to email him the pictures and he will contact the underwriter. That was in August 17th.... weeks go by and no reply. I escalate it then get a call saying he is on vacation. Mind you there is no out office reply or any follow thru. I then wait till the following week., He tells me to email it one more time again and I do it again. and no response. He finally calls me on the day the insurance is expiring and tells me I have to remove the pool. So now I am left with no coverage and cant switch to my previous provider till the 1st of the month have to pay the lender and extra ordinary amount of $$$ to cover my house in the interim. Needless to say I will be yanking my personal and business insurance needs

I had AAA of Southern California because I was told it was the best insurance around. Boy, was I wrong. My windshield cracked and now it's spread across the entire windshield and no way of getting it replaced by AAA without paying more than the deductible. They are trying to charge me $500 plus the deductible to get an OEM windshield replacement. I have windshield insurance. Not only that, but the reason the crack had spread was because we contacted them and it took a week for someone to come out to replace only to bring a the wrong windshield. We called right away and ***************************************, the representative said she would look into it. Not only did we not hear back from her, I had to call three times and leave a message. Her response? "I only received two calls from you." That took THREE weeks to hear back. Meanwhile, she says they hadn't received a quote yet then goes on to tell me that I will have to pay over $700 to replace the windshield. So, I call her manager *****************************. Surprise, not one call back. So then I try calling customer service. Neither ***** nor ********* would come to the phone and had the representative tell me they don't cover OEM windshield's for the 2017 Jeep. So AAA is just giving me the runaround then and I have never filed a claim in the six years I have insurance with them. Their customer service is absolutely horrid and so are their representatives and insurance coverage. Shame on you AAA as I have a newborn at home and can't afford to pay for a new windshield that I pay for on my insurance plan with you.

I had AAA car insurance. Because of losing my job and being unemployed for 3 months, my insurance lapsed and when they gave me final notice, they told me to contact them to reinstate it. I called them the next day and explained my situation, and said I could pay whatever I owed right then, and they said they would look into it and get back to me. They didnt. I reached out 4 more times (emailed a woman named *************************** personally even) with no connection made. I even asked if she could just let me know if they CAN reinstate it, and nothing. I ended up getting insurance through State Farm. So the letter I got in the mail from the *** threatening vehicle suspension isnt an issue. But had I relied on them to get back to me, it would be. I am deeply disappointed by this experience. I honestly was trying to get right with all the bills that had piled up while I was unemployed, to avoid penalties, and I feel like AAA intentionally neglected my attempts at communication.I am not one for cancel culture or blasting someones mistakes, but I was put in a really lame position, and I just hope this helps so that others wont have the same experience.

AAA left a 58 year old woman, stranded without a workable car. Two of my tires had been stolen and I needed the new tires I bought placed on the car. The conclusion? This 58 year old woman had to put tires on the car by myself! Thank heaven for a Daddy who taught me a valuable survival skill. Now who will pay for my Chiropractor? Can I have my membership fees refunded? Can I have AAA pay for the tires as retribution for leaving me stranded? They literally told me they would not help me as they only fix flat tires and do not put tires on cars. If I had a flat, would they not remove the flat and put the spare tire on? That is certainly placing tires on cars. Do better AAA! You've lost a member that has been with you for years. SHAME on you for leaving a woman stranded!

We got the keys to our home that we had just closed on. Walked in the door, and there was standing water, and evidence that water had been flooded into the home by the soft water system cycling in the night, and the hose, not being secured properly by the previous homeowner. The previous homeowner has made the claim and it has been over six weeks that they have done absolutely nothing. They have not denied or excepted the claim. They have not given us any help at all. We are stuck because the policy is not even under our name but yet we were handed keys to a home that was seriously damaged. Horrible customer service. Nobody calls us back. Nobody responds to us at all.

We had a terrible experience yesterday waiting 2+ hours for the tow truck. No one could provide an accurate time line. When we would call we would be told the driver was anywhere from 20 to 5 minutes away only to be left sitting for over two hours. At one point we were told the driver was on the premises yet he still did not show for another 5 minutes. Information was contradictory and flat out wrong. I will never recommend this service to anyone again.

my very first experience will now be my last one. we spent 5 hours on the freeway shoulder and were never picked up by their tow truck. First tow truck couldnt find **, but we never even received a phone call. Second one didnt show up either. The third driver called us when we were already at home, 5 hours after initial request. by that time we just had to leave the car there and call friends to come pick us up.

There is no value in AAA different levels of ********** Services went it comes to Roadside assistance. I requested for a a tow and I'm sitting on a main road, car is somewhat sticking out from the shoulder, and pleaded to them the danger I am in and the best they can give me was 3 hours wait time.

Beware of AAA's bait and switch tactics when it comes to homeowners insurance! I've been a AAA member for 27 years. Decided to get a homeowners insurance quote from them and received one that was going to save me $600 from my current policy with a different company. After signing my quote and paying for my policy and cancelling my old policy they came back a few days later and said that their underwriting department made a mistake and that my policy was going to cost an additional $1,032, or about $400 more than what I was paying with my old insurance company.
