I initially signed up for Peacock but changed my mind and went to a website to discontinue the service (which I never ***********************************************************************) Somehow I ended up at****************** which charged me $49 for simply contacting them.
I had my bank, Wells Fargo, investigate and it stopped the payment. This all occurred about a month ago.
Today, I noticed that ************* is charging me another $49. and Peacock wants another $2.11!
My bank won't open until Monday and I was hoping to stop this by reporting this to your organization.

Today Saturday October 15 I checked my bank account as I do every Morning an saw a $49.00 debit.I never used this company for any services. I am 82 years old and the only thing I can think of about a week past I was trying to solve a poblem about how to send a message on my computor that would nor work I googled it for help and my problem still not fixed. thank you for your help **************Business Response

I called 6YA on 9-18-22 mistakenly thinking they were connected with Best Buy. I was only trying to find out when an installer we were waiting for and who was more than an hour late would be here. The person I talked to didn't know anything because they are not associated with Best Buy. This was quickly ascertained, I did not buy anything from 6YA and don't even know how they got my credit card information. I, like other people's complaints, have a charge of $1 and another of $49 on my VISA card.Business Response

I received a charge of $49 and another charge for $1 on my credit card statement dated 10/7/22 for both transactions. The charges are to 6Ya Inc and provides a phone number (**************). I called the number but it didn't provide any answers and I couldn't connect to a representative. I sent an email to them on their website and requested a full refund. I have no idea what these charges are for and I didn't subscribe or authorize any of these charges. I received a text from them saying they are cancelling my "subscription", but I never subscribed to anything!!! So I demand a refund for the 2 charges mentioned above.Business Response

On October 6th I contacted WOW to change my name on my account from ************** to ************** and to change my payment method to a different debit card. I was using their chat feature to do this. In the midst of this a box appeared stating they could help. After entering my new debit card number I became uncomfortable and exited the screen. The next day I had 2 charges on that debit card for $1 and $49 from a company called 6YA. At no time during the chat was I told that this was not part of WOW and that I would be charged. I need to be refunded and the account canceled.Business Response

I called **************** for help with a phone problem. An "expert" came on the line and "fixed" it. Suddenly I'm getting emails from something called 6ya.
The problem wasn't fixed.
And then there are charges on my bank account from this 6ya company. $50 in total.
I didn't ask for this group and don't want this group.

On October 4/22, after having set up a Lyft account while in Annapolis MD, I asked for a Lyft driver to come pick us up. It seemed Lyft had charged my credit card, but the driver did not show up. I then asked again, and it looked like Lyft charged me a second time. Again a driver did not arrive, even though I could see on the app that a Lyft driver was within a block of our pickup spot before veering away. Immediately after placing my second request for a ride, I messaged what I thought was Lyft to ensure that I only be charged once. Somehow Lyft redirected me to 6YA, INC. I was unaware of this until at the end of a short and unsatisfactory exchange, something popped up about a "free trial." Later that day I found two charges on my credit card from 6YA, INC.: $CAD 1.40 ($US 1) and $CAD 69.44 ($US 49.00). (I did give them my credit card information when asked, thinking that Lyft was asking in order to reimburse for the double charge.) I did not ask to be redirected to 6YA, INC., I had no idea I wasn't dealing with a customer service rep at Lyft, and 6YA, INC. did nothing for me. I never authorized those charges. It feels like 6YA, INC. is a scam - and it seems that Lyft is both incompetent and "sneaky" - perhaps getting kickbacks from 6YA INC.? I think 6YA INC. needs to reimburse me. (Thus far, I see neither of the charges I feared from Lyft, but I suggest that folks think twice before choosing Lyft over other driver services or old-fashioned metered taxis.)Business Response

I received both a note of apology and a refund from 6YA, INC. I plan no further involvement with either company. Now my hope is that both Lyft and 6YA, INC. will both improve both their efficiency and their transparency toward customers, folks who simply want a ride from Point A to Point B.
