Started Byte early 2022 and never completed the treatment. Constant issues and complications. Given the run around about treatment and issues during these 2+ years. Now, after the company is basically told they cant continue, *** requested a refund and was told I would be getting one (even though its actually not a full refund, they technically owe the insurance company as well). Now, *** asked for an update, and Im getting a response that I have to sign paperwork to get the refund or any update. I told them numerous times before I would not be signing anything. This place is a scam and should have been shut down long ago. All this time, and my teeth are aligned the same as they were when I started + now I have ongoing issues with bite and complications!

******** company, product, and customer service. I purchased my aligners in January and received them in February. It was to be a 15-week plan. I followed their instructions. Once I completed week 10 in April, the next set didn't fit. I contacted Byte through the app and did everything they recommended, and they still didn't fit. After 6 months of going through the same process over and over again of sending them photos of the same problem. In October, I finally received an email they had shipped a refinement fit kit. Well, here we are the day before December, and I haven't received the kit or a response to the three emails I sent to support for an update. Today, I tried reaching them through email, the app, and text, and all communication is now AI. After that, I went online to try and find a phone number to speak with a person and discovered many FB pages for customers experiencing the same problem as me. I then contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges and file a complaint here in hopes of either having a human call me to resolve the issue or a refund for the product not being what was sold.

I invested in Byte in 2023. My treatment was to end January 2024. It's now December 2024, and I never received my retainers, and they dropped the ball on my treatment entirely, but continued to take my monthly CareCredit/Synchrony payments. I opened 4 disputes with Synchrony, as well as had a lawyer send a letter to Byte HQ about the need to refund due to a breach of their contract and treatment plan. Byte then sent me 4 impression kits, which shows they have no SOP's or pipelines in place, and every time I talked to a customer service **** it was someone new. I finally reached out to Byte again in November after it became public knowledge that they were no longer carrying out treatments due to their recent bankruptcy claim and their *** violations. I should be receiving a refund for everything I have paid thus far from Byte and if you're someone seeking a refund, do not stop being pushy. This company is committing fraud, and there is no doubt class action lawsuits are not already open. Keep fighting for your money back and do not let scamming companies like this win.

I'm getting towards the end of my aligners and no help. I was told I need to pay 900 to get new trays because I have been in treatment for a year and a half. Originally I was told it would be 14 weeks. I'm fine with it taking longer as my teeth do not want to move as quickly however I would like to finish and get what I paid for. My Aligners are showing gaps and not fitting sung as the previous aligners I even sent a video and they are now saying I need to buy more aligners at ******

Stay away. BYTE Aligners fails their promise to provide the service they are obligated to provide within the time-frame they've initially committed to. The treatment for me has been, at least, 3 times longer than what they've estimated, and atill not done. Back to back impression kits for treatments adjustments that never ends. Now they are ignoring my right to get a refund simply because they didn't meet the government regulations, which is scary and not trustworthy. Their message is suggesting: "We have determined that our patient onboarding workflow may not provide adequate assurance that patients with active periodontal disease...".They want to force me to sign the disclaimer before they consider issuing a refund for a service they failed to deliver.

Placed my order September 14, 2024,And after several back and forths with byte and my dentist I finally received my aligned October *******. Literally two weeks later on October 30th I received an email saying that they are canceling my aligners for an Urgent Field Safety Notification and for For customers who knowingly suffer from active periodontal disease, severe open bite, severe overjet, tooth malocclusion requiring surgical correction, mixed dentition, have dental prosthetics or dental implants, or are an adolescent with a skeletally narrow jaw, discontinue aligner treatment immediately (which I have both dental prosthetics and implants). I have followed up several times asking for a refund status but they do not respond and you are put on long holds when calling. They were very fast to respond during the sales cycle but vanished off the planet now. Seeking a full refund!

Byte was very attainment that I buy their product. Sold me during a vulnerable time. They contacted me everyday for over a week to ask to purchase. I had hope. Got my first set of aligners and my teeth started to chip. I stopped treatment and requested a refund with no luck. Now they are dragging me along with no answer in site.

I ordered my first set of aligners July 31, 2023. I had very small adjustments needed to be made since I already had braces and they shifted slightly in the front. I was told I would need them for only 12 weeks and have a lifetime guarantee. I followed every step exactly how it was laid out for me and did all of my check ins sending in pictures to the dentist. They have to APPROVE these pictures to move on to the next step of aligners. Every time it was approved but I noticed that there were gaps in between the aligners and my gums and teeth and that teeth stopped shifting. It was also a little uncomfortable. But I kept with it because I was told to do so. When I reached the end of my 12 weeks my teeth were not straight. I reached out to them and they said I needed to do another impression kit and go back and start aligners over. By the time I received my brand new set of aligners I was only able to use them for a few weeks before my teeth and gums became very painful. I stopped using them altogether because I didnt trust that this product was helping me and was scared it was in fact going to harm me. I took the money out of my savings to treat myself to fix an insecurity that was really bothering me. This amount of money is a huge deal for me. I have not been able to purchase anything for myself since and I also do not have straight teeth. If anything they look even worse than when I started.

I signed up for night time aligners and received my initial set of aligners 2/1/24. I was told that it would take 4-6 months to reach my goal. Its been almost 10 months and I havent see much, if any improvement at all. Once I remove the aligners in the morning they automatically shift back to where they were. They are actually making my teeth hurt. The last upper aligner I have has developed holes and because they put a hold on any production, they will not replace them. Its been months since I had a check in with one of their dentists. I am frustrated with the time and money I have put into these and am totally dissatisfied. I want a refund of what I have paid to date and no future charges

I am very dissatisfied with Byte and their treatment. I have been in the aligners for 6 months. My lower teeth have not moved at all and my upper now has a slight overbite. I was about to request refinements but was sent an email stating that they were stopping treatment until I am seen by a dentist which I cannot afford to do out of pocket. My teeth have not improved and I feel like its been a huge waste of money. I requested a refund but have yet to hear back. Do not recommend
