I wish I had read these reviews before Purchasing. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening to me. Different representatives, giving you the run around about a treatment which is inconclusive. Endless emails. Sending photos back and forth over a period of weeks. And it leads to nothing. No one knows how to help. It's all misinformed. TeleDental treatment does not work at all. It's a waste of time and money. This is actually a huge scam. I am waiting to hear back about a refund.Byte

Don't listen to reviews that don't go past 'onboarding' - only pay attention to reviews who have gone through the full process. Byte is good at one thing - GETTING customers. After that they won't give two craps about you.Long story short, I followed ALL of the rules and plan, and Byte still screwed up my treatment and refuses to finish it correctly without an extra $600.E-mailing customer service is a JOKE - they take several days to a week to respond. A new person every time. If you think Amazon's chat bot is terrible.... Byte's is 50x WORSE. Their app is an absolute useless joke.I followed EVERY rule. I wore aligners 23+ hours every day and used HyperByte every day. My treatment not ending correctly was ******% not on me.You better hope you need less than 15 aligners because trying to get the rest is a nightmare. You're supposed to request your continuation at week 12, but their system won't let you until week 13. It then takes them ANOTHER week to actually do anything about your request. Then takes them 3-4 weeks to get you the new ones. So you will be 2-3 weeks late on your treatment.The continuation aligners are NOT THE SAME and cut and fit differently which then leads to the next MAJOR problem.Heaven forbid your treatment doesn't end correctly (because THEY didn't make the aligners right). WEEKS of trying to get their 'clinical team' to fix my treatment. I've sent the same photos and video dozens of times. They ordered 'touch up' aligners WITHOUT APPROVAL. I 100% do not trust this process and know it will be screwed up again. Not only do they have no idea what they are doing and never read anything, they REFUSE to address my top teeth at all. They want an EXTRA $600 to finish my treatment the right way versus them GUESSING.I've asked 10 times for new impressions and a new virtual care to approve and they refuse. This is the only way I trust them to finish my treatment correctly because they have been an absolute CLUSTER.Byte

If I could give 0 stars I would. ***** CLEAR FROM BYTE. Do yourself a favor and go read the comments on the BBB and the reviews for 1-3 stars on the sight. I bought into the hype and its been the biggest disappointment! I paid for the nighttime aligner plan which is more expensive (****k ish). The first set of aligners I went through 12 weeks before my teeth just wouldnt fit into the aligner at all. I notified Byte and they stated my teeth looked like they should have been at week 6. Mind you - I checked in as instructed a couple times in between where Byte staff supposedly checked my picture submissions. After realizing my teeth hadnt shifted at all, they sent me a new kit for re-impressions. During my next set of aligners I I made it to step 10 and aligners once again werent fitting. Same thing - multiple check ins and staff never notified me that my teeth werent moving. They back tracked me to step 5. I wore step 5 for 2 weeks and was instructed that my new plan was going to be 2 weeks in each aligner rather than the 1 week because my teeth werent shifting like they were supposed to. I wore weeks 5, 6, and 7 for 2 weeks and my teeth still arent fitting in week 8. I notified Byte that the treatment plan wasnt working. I have followed all the rules and my teeth arent shifting. I have crowding on my bottom teeth in the front and they told me Id be a good candidate and a night time plan would work. That was a lie. When I asked what happens now because they told me their service would work and it doesnt they told me I couldnt get a refund because the aligners are custom made. Literally the worst customer service ever. How does a company get away taking thousands of dollars from customers when their services dont work for them? Its a scam honestly. A big disappointment. I tried on my week 1 aligners and they fit perfectly - that means for 11 months of following the rules I have nothing to show for it except wasted time and stolen money. Run.Byte

I cant get ahold of anyone to find out who I send my letter from my dentist telling them why I am NOT a candidate for their aligners. It's been about ************************************************************************************************* within an hour. I want a refund and it was negligent that they denied me being a candidate for aligners and then a few weeks later they change their mind and approve me. I want my $2,000+ that I paid out of pocket all upfront. I would hate to take legal actions. I gave Byte the benefit of the doubt that they were not shady. But the damage to my teeth and gums is too much. Now I need more work done to correct stuff that I didn't have before.Byte

The only reason I am giving this a star is because I have to. This company is scamming everyone. The customer service is horrible, the treatment plan is a scam. The follow through is none. They have no intention on helping anyone. They take money but give nothing in return. Ive been wearing the same appliance for more than 6 months and going back and forth for over a year getting the run around.Byte

1 starWorst customer service. They take over week to respond to emails and you get passed from representative to representative. Each representative gives you the same suggestions which aren't helpful. I have reached out nearly 20 times over the last 10 days with no reply. I noticed immediately that the trays in my impression kit did not fit, so I contacted my Impression Specialist (me.***.sa la.rson) numerous times via email, text, and voicemail. I got no response, so I attempted to use the chat feature, which is NEVER staffed by a real human even though it says it'll direct you to one. I then reached out on social media, and I was told I would hear from someone within 5 business days. Here I am, a full week later with no correspondence from Byte. I need a refund for the useless impression kit (no one else can use it because it's been in my MOUTH), and you all over at Byte should learn to staff your phone lines and chat services appropriately. You company is easily the worst I've dealt with in years, and I'm looking forward to working with your competitors.Byte

On April 24, 2023, I purchased the Byte aligner system with the expectation that it would help me achieve the desired results of straightening my teeth effectively and efficiently, per the company's marketing promises. Unfortunately, I have faced inadequate customer service and an ineffective product. I have had numerous customer service requests go unanswered, I have received conflicting information from the customer support I have received, and my biggest concerns with my treatment plan have gone unaddressed. Byte has failed to live up to its promise of providing excellent customer service to assist customers in their journey toward a better smile. Given the ineffectiveness of the product and the complete lack of adequate customer support from **********************, I believe I am *********** a refund under the terms of the company's satisfaction guarantee and the Consumer Rights Act, however the company has left my emails, support requests submitted through their website, and handwritten letters to their headquarters unanswered, and the issues with their product and service unresolved. Stay far far away from this company.Byte

STAY AWAY if give zero stars if possible. I started my byte journey in December of 2022. The first round was supposed to end in May of 2023. In March of 2023 I noticed movement in my lower teeth was not happening as the rendering they sent me should be and I contacted them through a call and then they scheduled another call with a qualified consultant weeks later. They decided I needed another impression and second treatment plan (which takes 3-6 weeks to complete). When I got to the 8th week of the second plan one of the aligners was so horribly made it didnt touch my teeth in the lower left and stuck inward toward my tongue. My lower teeth were also not moving as they should. I called again and was sent through the wringer of calls and emails until I got ahold of someone. They told me they would send ANOTHER impression kit to start a third plan. When I requested a call (all communications through email mostly) they told me calls were not available and they had no idea when they would be available to schedule. So Im supposed to go on my THIRD plan with zero actual changes in my lower teeth and I cant talk to someone???? I had braces as a child so the movement was not major just something I ******* like changed. This company wants you to give up so they can keep your money. Stay away, do not use BYTE they are a scam. I paid a lot of money and have done everything they asked to get a reasonable change and they refuse to speak to me most likely because they know they cannot fix my teeth as they said, and dont want to refund me. The communication is terrible the result are non existent. STAY AWAY.Byte
