Had questions before making impressions. **************** is 95% of the time unreachable. They sent me retainers and then before I could ask my questions, picked them up without me even doing the impressions. Its been 2 weeks of trying to get a hold of someone reliable to ask simple questions, and now I dont even have the retainers. Please refund and upgrade your customer service, it actually feels really sketchy.Byte

When an impression kit is ordered every customer is assigned an Impression Specialist, they will reach out via text and email to assist with any questions or concerns. They also will set up a delivery time for **** to pick up the impressions, if that time does not work the customer is able to request for it to be rescheduled. We do not send retainers until the very end of treatment so none should have been delivered at this time. The best way to contact the Impression Specialist is through text, if you have done this and not received a response within 48 hours we would like to look further into it. The worst $2k I've ever spent. One of 2 things is true: Byte scaled too quickly and are unable to deliver the service/experience they want to deliver *or* they are knowingly and intentionally selling people a product/service they cannot deliver. After I bought the aligners, I maintained perfect compliance with the program. Around week 12, I started to run into an issue. The aligners were straightening my bottom teeth, but that was putting them directly under my upper incisors, causing an issue with my byte. Because of that, the teeth that were touching would move back if I ever took the aligners offi. I contacted byte. They told me to wear the retainers longer. I did. The problem continued. I contacted them again. They told me to wear the retainers longer. I kept telling them that it seemed to be an issue with the treatment-- and they wouldn't listen. They just gave me the same advise over and over again (and getting a hold of them was a bit of a nightmare). After about 6 months of wearing the retainers and having the issue continued, I gave up. The aligners sit in a bathroom cabinet as a reminder that I was scammed out of $2k by byte. Honestly, I wish I could pick them back up and have a different result, but at this point I have no faith that the company will do anything other than gaslight me.Byte

I was promised with bite that I would be on a five month program as long as I wore my aligners for 10 hours a day for five months. Ive been wearing my aligners for longer than a year and my teeth are still not fixed. I was recently asked to pay additional money if I want to fix the problem. This company did not keep its promise as a life time guarantee to help fix things my teeth nor did they fix it on the deadline that they gave out. I want my money back! I paid in full. Not only that I have been very patient with this company as they only respond to you through email and it takes them about 2 to 5 business days to do so.Byte

Just like everyone has mentioned this company is a scam. Two years later and I just keep getting sent new impression kits because of their BS "smile guarantee". The only thing you guarantee is stealing peoples money because your product *****. I should have came here before purchasing these crappy retainers. Do yourself a favor and visit a real orthodontist in person because this c*** is awful. Horrendous. Horrible customer service. Fake treatment plans.Byte

They take money directly from my account more than once a month I have tried to call but they transfer me to different people ! My bank says they cant stop the payments !! The retainers are trash !Byte

I would advise anyone to NOT GET IN BUSINESS WITH BYTE. GO TO A DENTIST FOR ALIGNERS. The financial part of Byte is horrific. Not only did they raise the interest without telling customers, they are charging you $80 if your account pymnt is passed 11 days. Imagine paying consistently and all of a sudden u pay late once and it's 80 .00 late payment. Never again. Not to mention my teeth was not fixed expect for blisters and bruises from their aligners. I started treatment in February and have been trying to cancel my treatment for the last month. Around week 5 the aligners gave me blisters and marks in my gums, which remain to this day. I've made multiple attempts to cancel my treatment but seem to be getting **************, claiming I need the dentist's documentation in order to request a refund. However, I keep telling them I am not even looking for a refund. I simply want to end treatment and stop making payments. If I started my treatment without the consent of a dentist, it should be possible to end my treatment without the consent of one. It is not expressed in the terms of use but they are using this tactic as a way to keep you from exiting treatment. I will be contacting a lawyer to help me end my payment plan.Byte

The worst customer service experience of my life. Bordering on a scam. My treatment has taken over 2 years longer than the original estimate, and I've had to jump through hoops trying to get Byte to continue sending me the aligners I've already paid for. As of writing this, Byte is still refusing to send me my final two aligner steps. Everytime I request any assistance, I'm being met with an automated email suggesting I call Byte. When I did speak with Byte on the phone in the past, it went equally poorly. I would highly recommend considering any other alignment services before giving your money to this borderline scam.Byte

Reading this will change your "braces" relationship, and therefore experience.I have been with Byte since February 2020, only regarding MY teeth, which equals years and 5 months as of this writing.They've molded and REMOLDED my teeth 3 times throughout this period, and I am in conversations with the lawyer, because my teeth are the same or worse than they were two and a half years ago. I'm requesting a full refund, and still haven't heard back from Byte.I have spent many tears and many hours on the phone, email, texting, and on their new, poorly working app.Do you want to skip toys tears, frustration, time money, and precious time?Look elsewhere.
