      I started with Byte back in October of 2022. Things seemed fine at first.However, having now gone through 15 sets, it is disconcerting how little progress I have made. I have no idea how long Im going to have continue with Byte. This has been nearly enough for me to want to reach out to Bytes customer service to discuss ending my treatment with them; but it wasnt until I was required to get gum treatment that solidified my distrust for this company.Something to keep in mind before entering into a contract with Byte is that they do not want you to do any necessary dental work while youre with them; even if youre experiencing pain, an emergency, etc. Their website states that you shouldnt get elective work done, but theyll pummel you no less harder if you make the mistake of telling them that youve gotten *necessary* work done. This is obviously a problem. Especially if youre like me, and you dont see an end to your treatment with Byte, when their aligners arent visibly doing anything.I bring this up because I made the huge mistake of mentioning that I had to get a gum graft due to severe recession in my gums. Since then it has been a nightmare. Theyre now demanding an invasive letter from my periodontist, refusing to let me out of my contract despite the multiple issues at play here (including their failure to uphold it), and threatening to charge me more money out of pocket due to my needing this medical care (I guess shouldve let my gums continue to recede). The process has been terrible. I regret ever mentioning that I went to a periodontist. More than that, I regret retaining the service of this company, because theyve stated quite clearly that Im being held hostage until the aligner guarantee is completedand that is probably going to take years, given how little progress has been up to this point.If you can, please go with a different companyespecially if you believe you may need dental care in the future.

When it comes to the progress of a treatment at times, even with traditional orthodontic appliances such as metal braces, it is necessary to adjust the treatment plan. This is because everyone's anatomy is different, and some teeth with not always move as predicted. Adjustments are very normal, whether youre undergoing treatment chairside or remotely! To cover our customers for unexpected outcomes, Byte is proud to offer our Aligner Guarantee; which will always provide additional aligners at no charge to help each customer achieve the projected final **********************. 

      During the course of the treatment, Byte strongly advises against any dental work. A procedure as simple as a filling or restoration can transform the shape of the tooth, causing the aligners to not fit. For this reason, its important to inform Byte of any upcoming procedures that could interfere with the success of  treatment. Any non-emergency dental work voids the Aligner Guarantee.       Our customers health is our number one priority. As this is a medical service, customers can only be released from our treatment under direct medical recommendation.       Absolutely scammed. They pressure you into buying them once you start the process. Soon after I started, I mentioned it to my dentist who expressed concern that I was not a candidate for aligners and using them would cause huge issues with my bite. When I expressed these concerns to the byte team, they said they could only issue a refund of my dentist sent in a specific letter which he was not comfortable doing legally. Ridiculous they do not respect their customers enough to believe their concerns, only care about their money. Do NOT buy these.

      They are harassing before you ever start. It uncomfortable. My sister loved it, I wont be going through it. Bad taste with all the slimy sales texts and emails

      Before I ever signed up with the company, they called me Non-Stop. After I was signed and sent in a few payments, it was an act of Congress to speak with someone about my concerns. Close to the end of my treatment, one of my retainers broke. I called for a replacement by which I had the insurance for. They never sent my replacement and the small spacing that I was originally treating return to its original spacing within 2 weeks. Because it was a loan, I am still paying on it now through a third party company as Byte stop addressing my concern even before my treatment plan was over. I, for the most part have gotten over it, but it still bothers me at times when the payment is submitted. I guess my advice to those planning to sign up with this company is to stay on top of worrying them when you have a problem, because if you wait towards the end of your treatment plan, they will not address your issues as they do in the beginning of your plan.

      Horrible experience! I did all the proper steps been trying to get a refund for about a year now even had my dentist email them to attempt a refund my teeth are still the same the customer service is awful they told me if I didnt purchase aligners rite away they were going to throw away my aligners and I felt rushed ! Then I spoke to another girl at customer service and she said that wasnt true after I paid **** $ for a product that doesnt work after I finished my aligners the retainers did not fit and hurt my teeth so much . I had to wait to get new retainers and they didnt fit either ! And then they told me that I wasnt keeping up with the process and then told me to start alll over again total scam I want my money back waste of money do not buy !!!

Byte does offer an Aligner Guarantee, through which Byte is committed to helping each customer achieve the predicted end results.       When it comes to purchasing the aligners we only advise that it is best to move forward with the aligner order as soon as the treatment plan is created to ensure the teeth do not shift from when the initial impressions were taken. We do not throw away any aligners since nothing will be manufactured until purchased. 

      Apart of the Aligner Guarantee, when this happens our team will gather the necessary information needed and determine the best next steps whether that means printing new retainers or creating new aligners to get back on track to the designed end results.       So disappointed and I feel scammed. I would not trust this company at all. I have tried multiple times to reach out them and cancel my treatment before the doctor has even reviewed my case. I ended up having to submit a claim with my bank and they are still texting me and bullying me after I tried to cancel weeks ago. I reached out via chat on their website twice and was given a number to leave a messages three times. I also scheduled an appointment with "*****" and not a single phone call only harassing texts.I also asked for an insurance quote and never received one. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this business to an enemy.Very unprofessional

Once a customer returns their impressions to us we send them to our lab to be reviewed and confirm they are a candidate. Once this is confirmed we let the customer know and begin creating their treatment plan. During this we do have our team of licensed dentists and orthodontist reviewing these adjustments to make sure they are able to be made in a safe and effective way. Once the treatment plan is completed it is sent to the customer to be reviewed. The customer will then determine if they approve of the plan or if they want to make changes. If the plan is approved and the down payment is paid we begin the manufacturing stage and the plan cannot be cancelled or refunded as is it a customer medical treatment.       I began my treatment in November 2021, with a 16 week projected treatment plan. As I progressed through each week, I was supposed to have periodic consultations with an orthodontist. This did not happen. I continued progressing with the aligners and when it was time to for the next set to be delivered I had not received any communication and the aligners did not arrive until several weeks later. I reached the end of the treatment plan and was supposed to receive a set of retainers but I could not get in touch with anyone, only generic emails. I finally submitted a check in through the app and was told my treatment was not finished and I could not receive my final retainers. I requested to speak with someone on the phone and only received generic support email responses. When I visited my dentist for my 6 month check up he said my teeth were out of alignment and it was causing issues and referred me to an orthodontist who confirmed that my teeth were not properly aligned and I would need braces to correct the issues. I sent this information to byte, but again only received generic responses and could not get anyone on the phone. I would like a full refund. My teeth are worse than before and I will still need treatment to correct them.

      The worst company by far run the f*** away. I have been doing my steps non stop the correct way wearing once every 5 weeks they want to check-in and then as I am almost finished they tell me to start over and that my teeth arent aligned and that I had to send the rest back well I have been reaching out for days and no answer when I requested a refund they say oh the guarantee blah blah blah. But then when I requested the rest of my aligners they said no we cant give you them and I had to do what they said. Until this day I am still fighting with them and I am still trying to either get my money back for braces but nothing they refuse to do their jobs. Why offer something that your company cant give goood customer service or even good communication. The worst company I wouldnt recommend them to anybody. If you even go on their website turn away its not worth the headache and the ******** everybody puts on you is just ridiculous. Hope they go out of business.

      ************ that doesnt really care. Be forewarned this company is only seeking your money. They do not care about your treatment. If they did, they would offer more than the same generic email responses. Its the oldest trick in the book. Scam unsuspecting people who just want help. Once you get their money stop caring and ghost them. This guy who initially helped me was so attentive- great response time, emails that seemed personalized. I tried calling the same number after I got my aligners, and what do you knowthey were SO busy scamming, I mean serving other clients. I started in February 2023. Tonight while at work I tasted what I thought was blood. Sure enough my lower gums were bleeding. The aligners were cutting into my gums! I have addressed this with the Care Team and was told to file the trays or cut them. Aligner wax did nothing to help. I am diabetic and must take good care of my teeth and gums. I trusted this company based on their claims. None of what they promise is true. It has only been a few weeks (about 6), but NONE of my questions have been answered- except for the carbon copy responses everyone on here has received. I plan to spread the buyer beware info so others can be saved from this disappointing company. Now I have to see an ortho to correct their Ill advise and care . So disappointing. If you read just 1 or 2 reviews here you will see the pattern. Getting legal advice.

Here at Byte we always want to put our customers safety first. While it may be scary, minor bleeding in the gums is normal due to how vascular the tissue is. If the aligners are cutting into the gums we recommend filing them so they are more smooth and not causing discomfort.

      When customers are first entering treatment they are in communication with an impression specialist and then a Byte Advisor. Once they enter treatment, all communication moves over to our Byte Support team and the previous line of communication is no longer valid.       I have just received my aligners in the mail. I have contacted Byte-PAY as well as the affiliated financing company they use ***************************** and have requested the itemized receipt for the $1,000.00 *** I paid down on the aligners and financed the rest. Byte has not sent me any kind of itemized receipt. What they call an itemized receipt is just a total of what they are charging for their service. I contacted ******** and requested the itemized receipt because on their statement it shows the total financed $1,999.00 with an internal adjustment of $1,000.00 which is my payment to BYTE-PAY ( did not finance $1,999.00, I paid a thousand up front and financed $999.00). No-one can give me a receipt of where the *** payment went directly. Fsa has since frozen my remaining funds until this is resolved. *** does NOT except a receipt that only says internal adjustment. That sounds sketchy and it does not show where the thousand dollars even came from, only an internal adjustment.As for the aligners, I've only had them one day, they seem great. But the financing issues to get here is a pain, and now I have another thousand dollars frozen that I cannot use for future appointments, prescriptions, or other medical needs this year.
