      I purchased daytime aligners with Byte in Dec 2020 with the guarantee my slightly shifted teeth would be straight in 3 months WRONG. 2 years later, I've gone through several cycles of impression molds AND 3-4 new batches of aligners and my teeth have not shifted whatsoever. When Byte deemed my teeth would be a good fit for them, they were wrong! I have not been able to contact their "dentists", only "clinical support team" who redirect me to take new molds and check in weekly. Their aligners do not specialize in attachments and there is never a doctor visit to adjust your aligners. I've demanded a refund several times and they can only provide me with new aligners. I've followed their rules, worn my aligners all day and night, and used their Hyperbyte with no results. After 2 years, my teeth have not shifted and Byte has not met my teeth's expectation.

While we understand that each customers dental anatomy may be different and ,ay reflect results at different rates which is why we estimate the projected end goal. At times teeth may be a bit stubborn in moving and will require additional time to ensure the proper movements have been achieved. We do also offer our Aligner Guarantee which provides free adjustment aligners if we need to alter our approach in the treatment plan. While we understand this may prolong the estimated end date we want to ensure we get the promised results to every customer. Please note that these adjustments are normal even in traditional orthodontic practices. Byte offers support every step of the way to every customer making sure they feel supported and ensure they achieve the smile of their dreams!       Good sales team. Good communication, so far. Heads up everyone! It seems like either the treatment is viable or not on the website, but in my case it's only viable for the top arch, but the price is way higher than half of what would be a full upper and lower treatment, so that could have been a calculated move on Byte's part, generally, so kind of a bait and switch, but technically not, so they can get away with it. No haggling room on that price but they kind of sweeten the deal with an upgrade to the whitening, which is kind of a tertiary perk.

      I was sold on "premium" night aligners on 6/9/20 for the "latest technology". It was a 13-week plan (July-Oct) Paid $2,095 on 6/15.

      Wrote 10/19. New impression kit was shipped 10/26. New aligners ordered 11/12, new aligners delivered 11/30.

      Wrote 3/3. ***** frm Clinical Team wrote 3/16 (10+ days later!) said they estimate an additional 3-5 trays. No new impressions were taken. New aligners ordered 3/22. New aligners delivered 4/9.

      Wrote Byte 6/1/21. They replied 6/6 saying they needed me to fill out a questionnaire & send photos. Sent photos 6/7. 6/11: ******** ** wrote saying there were gaps between my teeth & the aligners causing tracking issues. I was told to go back to the box & find/send photos of the best possibly fitting aligners. I sent 6/11. 6/18 ******** wrote suggesting new photos of the lower aligners. 6/19/21: I sent photos. 6/30 (10+ days later!): ******** requested new photos & set numbers. I replied the same day saying every pair has air *********** probably because no new impressions were taken. 7/15: *********** told me to submit new info to the online portal. 7/19: Impression kit ordered. 8/9: New aligners delivered.

      FALL 22: 8/2/22: Sent Byte updated photos because I still am not seeing the results. 9/6: I was told to wear U1/L4 as the best fitting aligners & get back to them with photos. 10/6: Sent new photos (no progress) & was told by ******* to wear U2/L5 for 14 days. 10/24: Sent updated photos to that email chain & was hit with an automated message to "request support". 11/1: I was told my info would be passed ** to clinical support. 11/2: ****** emailed asking for updated photos which I sent on 11/3.

      NOW: On 11/6, I received an email saying I would need to pay $749 for a Byte Protection Plan as my aligner guarantee has been voided. I tried calling two phone numbers a combined 14x. No answer so I emailed. A Byte rep replied saying they are closed on weekends. Phone says open "7am-530pm 7 days/week".

      I want my money back. What a sham.

      Terrible customer service! My wife needs her week 10 retainer replaced and all we're being told is that she has to start completely over, from week 1 and pay $800 because she got rid of her old retainers after she moved on?! Apparently it's in the fine print to keep your old retainers?? What, the cracked ones?? What a joke. Her old retainers were cracking and not worth a dang! These retainers are made out of cheap plastic and crack just after a few uses. She literally just needs her week 10 retainer. Now we feel like we're out $1800 and have been scammed. Dealing with customer service has been a nightmare. DO NOT BUY. BEWARE.

      I do not recommend Byte, they are not true to their word. I should be on step 8 now but I'm currently stuck on step ONE. My step 2 aligners did not fit AT ALL. My top teeth did not shift as much Byte wanted. I've been on step 1 with no help, no emails back, nothing. I'm very upset with my experience and I wish I looked into this company more. Byte sent in refinement aligners for my top teeth but never said anything for my bottom when I have tried to explain that my bottom step 2 aligners fit. I was confused as to why my new treatment plan changed and was only for my top teeth when my bottom teeth I'm seeking to fix them straight as well. I've called customer service and they had no idea what to even do. They basically just made up a plan on what they thought to do. My refinement aligners come in and they don't even fit either. I do not want to proceed with Byte and I get a email saying, they'll send a free "BrightByte Pro". I do not want anything free, I want out of this. I do not wish to continue, I've only made one payment. I'm trying to get out of this. Definitely not worth the money. Very upset with Byte, definitely not 100% satisfied.

      Communication???? From you??? HHHAAAAAAA! You are kidding right? You hamper/bug us, doing the hard sell. Once that final sale takes place ALL COMMUNICATION STOPS...STOPS! Customer support is part of the deal when we signed up for this product; there is ZERO customer support. I have already called that number, for 1 solid hour, hitting redial every 20 seconds, never got through. I finally got a human told them of my issue, he escalated to high priority and then I got inundated with emails about "how sorry we are" " your smile journey" blah, blah, blah. I heard from SEVEN different people all saying the same thing. Every time I heard from someone I had to explain my situation AGAIN. My issue was never addressed. I was absolutely stunned at how my serious issue was, or wasn't, getting addressed. They, you, are friggen clueless. Frustrating doesn't even touch the surface.

      There are HUNDREDS, if not thousands, of people like me with the exact same problem. You can say what you want about communication and transparency, but it's all a bunch of BS, it's just fluff.

      I have made a significant investment in you to provide a service. The service is more than just the aligners...it's the entire duration of the treatment. A service that has knowledgeable people to answer our questions, to give us the support that will be needed through our "smile journey". That knowledge and support does not exist. have zero trust or faith in this company.

      During the sales pitch, I was told, if you are not 100% satisfied, then you get your money back, even if it's on your last set of aligners. Now you are reneging on that too as I've been told "oh, well we typically done to refunds". Oh well, let me tell you, when the customer is told that it's 100% satisfaction guaranteed, that leads me to believe that this is a company that stands behind their product and has good customer service. THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE, NOT EVEN CLOSE. I'm nowhere near 100% satisfied. I'm only on my 4th set of aligners.

      So I am being fully transparent and communicating with you: I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! This company is a not one that I want to or will continue on dealing with.

      I'm sure I'll hear from 10 different people saying a bunch of surface, fluff stuff. I don't care about any of it. I am done with you and this sham of a business.

      I've had my aligners for 5.5 weeks now and have not had any issues with them hurting my gums or anything. I can already see a difference and I'm only 1/3 of the way through my treatment! The staff has been very nice in answering any questions I've had so far.
      The app has had some glitches and I couldn't get my ******** thing to sync but I also have terrible service where I live. Overall so far I am very happy with Byte! Can't wait til January when I'm done

      So far so good. I'm five weeks into the 24 week program and, having had braces in the past, feel the familiar, but subtle, pull on the teeth. I'm confident this will be successful. The only thing I might have changed is not allowing myself to be upsold to the night-time only plan for $400 more because I find the aligners to be fairly comfortable and they don't inhibit speaking. I wear them 20 hours daily but I guess this gives me options should I have something planned where I didn't want to wear them as much. Bytes response has been great; ship time was well under what they said.

      The treatment plan that was shown to me was flawed, the final treatment of 16 weeks made my teeth look misaligned and I noticed that there was a slight improvement at week 13. It took this company too much time to make a revised plan, and when they did, the proposal/plan was worst at 13 weeks. I stated that my main concern were my upper teeth but it felt to me that they were only after my payment for the treatment, which I did thinking that services rendered will improve. I'm glad that I only payed for the impressions that I got for a reduced price during Labour day sale. It took them a long time to make another revised plan, so I requested for a full refund which was another pain. They gave me a hard time stating I had to pay $400 to get some of my refund back. I stated that I haven't agreed to the treatment plan and then having advertised "no commitment, 100% guaranteed" they ought to give me my refund. I was persistent in getting my full refund which I achieved after back and forth responses from them that it was not possible. With our hard earned money, it is best to consult your Dentist, mine recommends traditional braces. I hope this review helps people to reconsider this company, it felt like a scam, they are only after your money. I wasted my time and emotional energy in the hopes of getting what they advertise "getting a perfect smile". Lesson learned, I'm content with my healthy teeth over aesthetics.

      I was so excited to start this journey. The rep did a good job reaching out, but I found it annoying after a while because it just seemed like they were trying to fulfill some kind of quota - no real answer to my question, convo would move from text to email.. It makes no sense to message me through text message and then start a different thread through email, back and forth. My kit (I paid full price because I intended to use Byte Pay) wasn't satisfactory and I had to do another one. I replied by email on 9/15 that I needed a smaller set to do my impressions comfortably and never received the kit. I'm out of the money I paid for the impression kit and got nothing out of it.
