I started BYTE back in June of 2024 and was supposed to have aligners for 3 months. Ive had aligners now for 7 months because they took forever to send me the product and tried to say I wasn't following the process right, the app would constantly say I was in a different step when I changed it already. I'm waiting on my retainers for almost 4 months! All emails are generic emails I get from them. They are constantly asking for photos of my teeth when I already did the check ins and completed the aligners. The phone for corporate is disconnected, the phone number for assistance just keeps saying high call volume and to send an email, when I email, I get nothing back or it says I have to submit a request and when I do it asks me for photos again. The chat option in the app is AI generated and when you get to a "real person" they just say the same thing over and over again asking for photos. The problems I had with my teeth were not corrected and I told them I wanted to issues corrected if I was paying for it. I even submitted my main problem in the initial application for it and they never said it was something that couldnt be fixed. I used carecredit for this and this is a waste of money if I'm not going to be able to complete the process.Byte

I have been needing to speak with customer service and or a dentist since November 2024. I have been contacting them then and December 2024. I am not able to get anyone on the phone or on their app. I need more aligners, their aligners disintegrate and break easily while not fitting proper. **************** is not decent. They have been paid up front and I am not getting what I paid for. When you contact them, you are talking to a bot and it says that they will have someone call me which never happens. Now I'm receiving something as if byte is no longer in service or open. I am not sure what to do. I need assistance. I have asked them for a refund. Please help! I definitely need to speak to someone a customer service regarding a full refund and a solution to my mouth care. I am tremendously dissatisfied.Byte

Purchased and changed my aligners as suggested. When it came time for the retainer, I couldn't find the mouth opener retractor. I reached out to Byte and requested a new one. Was told they don't do that and to try using two spoons. Of course that didn't work. So now I've gone through my aligners, have followed their instructions... but they can't send a new mouth opener retractor? Essentially, this was a complete waste of time and money.Byte

Byte is a scam! I initially saw the ad on TikTok and thought they looked credible. I was-of course-able to speak to a human in great detail when he was advising me of costs and payment options. I did receive the package as agreed. I wore my aligners as ordered and then after 15 weeks I noticed one of my teeth was uncomfortably rubbing on another tooth after the alignment timeframe was complete. I went to my dentist and he filed the tooth so that it wouldn't rub on the other tooth. I immediately update Byte and kept receiving emails that appeared to be AI-written and never able to get a person on the phone. The emails kept advising me to take photos and upload and describe the issue and I did over and over and over and still now approximately month out from the original end date of my aligners to which I was supposed to transition into retainers I can not get anyone to call me and still no reasonable response in the emails as to a solution. They took my $3000+ funds and have not kept their part of the contract. I know I'm not the only person experiencing these issues because I have researched reviews. Please help.Byte

Thats what theyve been doing since now over a month of me not having my retainers sent to me as agreed in the initial contract. They email you asking for Photos and a litany of ridiculous questions they refuse to contact the client by phone you upload the photos answer the questions then get no response. I the reach out again and then again they email ask for photos ask numerous questions yiu submit the appropriate information and still nothing but they have my money!!Review fromKimberly B

Paid for the extended retainer warranty in July 25, 2024, order was made for a retainer, promised delivery in two weeks. September 13/2024 comes around and called for a status on the order and they stated the original order number was never processed and created another retainer order and it would take two weeks again. Followed up on 10/16/2024 and ******* said there was a delay and it would take another two weeks. Sent email and got response with the information about the retainer warranty and that the shipments are delayed with no date of when they would be delivered. Filed a dispute with my CareCredit and they are waiting for a response. In the meantime Im getting sent reminders to order my retainers by Jan 10th to keep warranty. I have not received any retainers since the first reuest in July and still waiting now Im concerned they will wait until after Jan10th and and reply with I have failed to order my retainer and the warranty is no longer guaranteed. Ni response to my emails and I get an email stating I need to open a support category which already has been done. Terrible company to resolve issues such as this. Try to resolve it and no answer but they didnt hesitate to charge the amount to the CareCredit. Not happy.Byte

I sent my third set of impressions in more than a month ago, I received faulty aligners from my first impressions which apparently leaves me completely unable to get a refund from them. Since then I have sent in two more sets of impressions and Ive just been informed by customer service that my second set of impressions hasnt even been review yet. Its been a month since I shipped them and again this is their THIRD attempt. I fully expect to hear back that they cant send me any alignments based on this set of impressions either. Funny how they were able to send them based on my first set and leave me unable to get a refund though. This company is a scam, they will take your money and waste your time until you give up and accept that you just wasted more than $2000Byte

I have sent many emails requesting assistance for my aligners thats I have not been progressing with. Byte said they were going to resend new aligners, I have done impression kits and after the last set they have not sent me anything they have cut contact with me. I have been emailing for months for an update. I am dissatisfied with the services from Byte and I would have a refund for the services.Byte

I am not satisfied and unacceptable with my Byte aligners since I first was excited got the aligners in September 2024. Once I opened the 1 step top aligners and it isnt made the full aligners that there is 2 missing part on left side in the back of teeth and on the right side in the back of teeth 1 missing part of aligners and I was disappointed with Byte because they made a horrible aligners that doesnt fit in property way also made too short shape to push up my teeth that wont stay input. So, I given a try for a month and 2 weeks unfortunately I couldnt barley wear them in public because the top and bottom aligners doesnt fit as well and uncomfortable and did follow the instructions and treatment unfortunately it still doesnt solve anything at all. I decided to stop using it and deleted byte app even though I opened Step 2 and Step 3 made a terrible also aligners made my gap teeth worse,oh my gosh! I found out that Byte is underneath Direct smile LLC which it is shocked me. It is wasting my money to paying for it for nothing. I emailed byte twice or third time for my concern with photos about my aligners and they didnt get back to me. They could have contact me if the aligners didnt made in perfect shape in first place before they sent out to me, obviously they just dont care about it. I wish they would caring about their customers and ********************** can do better than that and be more careful when it comes to making aligners. Byte is a rip off period. I no longer interested in them and they disgusted me. I could have research this fake company before I ordering it. Now, they need to canceling my Allegro Credit financing because I will not continue paying for it that made imperfectly because Im planning to get me a braces either ******************* I will file a small claim court asap if they dont canceling my Allegro credit account. ********************** is a scam. Ill warn my friends and family about this fake business. Byte company is a shame!Byte
