I started treatment in August 2024, and received my first set of trays. Back in November, I reached out about losing a set and needing a replacement. I was told that my treatment was being paused and now my teeth are shifting back. Meanwhile I am still continuing to pay $115 every month and not receiving any care. This company is horrible and I want a refund.Byte

Ah, BYTE. Two years of patience, $2,500 stolen, and nothing but frustration to show for it. I trusted you with my smile, my confidence, and you turned it into a cruel joke. Your promises were empty, your aligners are worthless, and your business is built on deceit. Manufacturing aligners is one thing, but pretending youre qualified to predict dental outcomes without involving a real orthodontist? Thats not just ignoranceits fraud.After two years of lies, I visited a real orthodontist, and surprise! My lateral and central incisors cant move because your laughable treatment plan ignored essential requirements like attachments. Did you conveniently forget to mention that? Or was it easier to just take my money and hope I wouldnt notice? Either way, youve turned what shouldve been a straightforward process into a nightmare.And now, lets talk about my refund. Thirty days became 6-8 weeks, as if you think Ill quietly sit back while you play games with MY money. It didnt take you 6-8 weeks to ****** $2,500 from me, so why the stalling? Let me be perfectly clear: I want my refund NOW. No more excuses. It's been over a year since I started treatment with Byte, and the results are not as promised. I paid $2399 for the entire treatment. Not only did I not get the results, but I also got a chipped tooth and a mucocele from wearing the aligners. The aligners are ill-fitting and painful and after sending in photos, they said that I would need to start treatment all over! On top of all this, TWO of the retainers they sent me BROKE, so I had to wait 2 weeks to get new ones shipped out. During that time, they told me to wear the last set of aligners. I want a full refund for this, as they are also not producing any more retainers or aligners! So, I can't even continue treatment! I have tried calling, but no one has picked up the phone. The only way to get through to them is through their chat; they use canned responses. After getting an email stating they would refund me in 6-8 WEEKS! That is completely unreasonable. Why would it take almost 2 months to get a refund? I would like to know the next steps to get my refund.Byte

ive been with byte for TWO years now and no progress my teeth look worse now. they have the worst customer service a few times i have got hung up on when ive asked for a refund too its ridiculous. *** paid more than 2K and i have around 800 to go. i want ALL of my money back. i kept staying with them because i already paid so much they keep saying they can fix my teeth and send me aligners but they never send me anything!!! i want a full refund!!!!Byte

1 starI am submitting this complaint due to the unacceptable experience I have had with Byte aligners. I began treatment over two years ago with the understanding that my plan would take only four months. Of course I knew it might take a little longer but 2 years is outrageous. After diligently following their instructions and communicating as needed, I am still not finished with my treatment. Now, I am at the point where I need one final set of refining aligners to complete the process, only to discoverafter weeks of silence on my shipment statusthat Byte has stopped producing aligners altogether.This critical information was not communicated to me proactively. I had to reach out to customer service myself after waiting over a month without any updates. This lack of transparency is only one example of the poor service Ive experienced throughout this ordeal.The entire process has been disorganized and unprofessional. The customer service team is unresponsive and unreliable. After months of frustration, I requested a refund last month, which Byte agreed tominus $399 for the cost of printing alignersbut I have yet to receive any information about when or how I will receive my refund. Since the agreement, I have sent four follow-up emails, none of which have been *********** addition, I paid in advance for 10 years of retainers, which I am also demanding a full refund for, given that Byte has not fulfilled its obligations and has failed to earn my trust.This situation is beyond frustratingit is unprofessional and, frankly, unacceptable. It took days to get a real response, and when I finally did, the support team was dismissive and offered little to no real help. My issues were ignored, and the entire process felt like a complete waste of time. The lack of urgency and professionalism was infuriating, leaving me extremely frustrated with the overall experience. Byte was a great company until recently. I started aligner treatments with them last year and everything went well until September of 2024. At that point, it became almost impossible to contact customer service representatives. When I would call them, the automated system would suggest I "press 1" to receive a callback. Because I would spend literally an hour on hold, I would use the "call back" option. However, no one would EVER call me back. Then I would receive an email indicating that they called me back and I didn't answer. That wasn't the case. I checked my calls and BYTE never tried to contact me but would indicate that they had. Then they would direct me to their site which was ZERO help. I just needed a few "non general" questions answered that were specific to my treatment plan. Then, I was told my treatment plan was "paused" until I saw my dentist. After I went to the dentist, I thought my treatment plan would pick up again. But no. Now they are saying that all further treatments for everyone are "paused" until further notice. They can't give me a timeline or really a cohesive reason why I have been waiting for over two and a half months just to get my updated aligners. Meanwhile, my current aligners are completely wearing out and I feel my teeth are shifting backward. Anyway, good luck getting anyone to give you a straight answer that isn't filled with ambiguity and vague statements of "things will get back on track *soon*" It has been extremely frustrating. I'm not sure what's going on over at BYTE but they should focus on communication and improving their customer service. Otherwise, they'll have a hard time getting future customers. I'll let you know if I EVER get a straight answer to why there is an indefinite "pause" to all treatments. But as for now, I can't recommend you start a treatment plan with them.Byte

I paid in full $2349 to receive treatment. I was shipped 15 tray aligners out of 21. When it was time to ship the other half of the aligners they stated production was on hold and they could not ship the remaining half of my aligners. My dentist would not sign off on whatever document they asked for because he was not comfortable with me continuing treatment with a pause in their production. I emailed support and they promised a refund within 30 days. It has been 30 days and I have not received my refund. You can not call the company as there are never any agents available. It takes days to receive any email back and when I do its the same response, to wait 30 days in which I have and it has still not been sent.Byte
