I am currently between a rock and a hard place. I am attempting to recover my long lost email account: ************************************* however, Yahoo deactivated my email and requires me to PAY to attempt to recover this email? There's no live chat support, and no feature available for me to be able to access this account again besides a paywall.I am attempting to access the email again because the email that is connected to one of my gaming platform's, Gaijin, will not let me change my email unless I have access to my old email, which does not exist. The game is linked through my Steam account to Gaijin, but I cannot change or add a different email unless I have access or proof that Yahoo will not let me recover this email. I really need support on this, it's frustrating, and I cannot do anything without some sort of correspondence from Yahoo's side.I am NOT paying to recover an email that shouldn't have been deleted in the first place.

l was kicked out of my yahoo email account that I have logged in on my phone at all times. I unfortunately forgot my password to log back in. To reset the password it sends a code to my old phone number and to my college email that is no longer in existence. Last week I tried calling yahoo 6 times and every time it said I would be on a premium line and talk to a human, but it was a robot every time and after answering the questions it provided me it would just hang up on me. I tried 2 different yahoo numbers. On Saturday (May 17th) I finally found a number that let me speak with a human. She looked up my account with all the information I she asked for (the old phone number + email attached to my yahoo email) and she told me they had my account pulled up and were able to get into it, and lastly to verify it they needed photos of my license id. So I sent in my photos and then the lady told me they were unable to verify my account (I've had my email for about 15+ years) and that she couldn't help me.

Yahoo has my email locked behind a paywall. I recently changed phones and the email that I have with yahoo which is ***************************************** will not let me log back in despite me still knowing my own password because the phone number linked to the email is a old number and they tell me the only way to log back in is to pay for yahoo paid premium support. I should not have to pay to change a number to log back into a email I know my password. This is unacceptable

Two weeks ago Yahoo logged me out of my account. I tried to log back in, but I was prompted to receive a verification code to a phone number I no longer have access to ( I live overseas on military orders). I called customer service and was told I would have to pay a fee for their services that day, and was also told I would need to sign up for their yearly technical support services which I do not need. I was simply requesting that they update my phone number or add a different recovery email that I could provide so that I could continue to verify myself. They wanted to send a verification message to me so that I could scan a picture of my drivers license in to them which I was ok doing, but the messages were not coming in as the number I provided was a virtual one. I live in *********** because my husband is active duty US Military and we are stationed here. They did not have any other options to resolve my issue and after many phone calls I still have no positive results. I have had this email since i was a child and it is linked to everything I have (social media, shopping sites, subscriptions, etc). I can't even update my email on certain websites because it wants to send verification codes to my yahoo email I can't access. I am willing to provide them with the documents they need but nobody is willing to help. They do not care that I am overseas and I feel like this is an injustice to military members who live overseas and don't have US numbers that can receive their verification codes. Why is there no alternative? I also do not want to be charged lots of money for a yearly service I do not need. I just want them to update my account recovery methods so that I can regain access to my email. I have the correct login in information so I am not sure why this is so difficult. Please help me regain access to my account. If they could reach out to me by my email ********************* that would be great. The number I provided is my Korean number. Thank you.

I have had this email for years. Since 2008 or even longer. I have upgraded my phone and no longer have access to the number. They want me to pay 12$ JUST to change the phone number on my account. its ridiculous that someone would even have to pay to talk to customer service just to change a phone number.

Suddenly I can't log on to my email or my Yahoo account, and now they want money from me to fix the problem. I have tried using the methods they have provided in the past when I forgot a password and they are not working. They put me into an endless loop that does nothing, and now I am locked out with no way to contact them. It seems like a big scam to get more money from us by holding my account for ******.

Hello,I am attempting to gain access to my yahoo email account(***************************************************************).I entered in the correct password and username and I was instructed that I must use authentication that involves an old phone number that I no longer have access to. I attempted to try to speak to someone but I am bombarded with ads suggesting I should pay for premium service to speak to a customer service representative. I am currently outside the country with my young child and I have a serious medical condition that I am seeking treatment for. I desperately need my yahoo account so I can access it to gain my verification code for ******. I tried through many different ways to contact yahoo support and I was unsuccessful. In my opinion this is just pure greed of a company trying to take advantage of a vulnerable person. Can you please assist me? I've had this yahoo account since I was 14 and I'm 32 now. Thank you for taking the time to hear my dispute.
