      I am being inundated with over 100 ad emails per day. Most are pornographic, and disgusting. Yahoo customer care, refuses to do anything about this, aside from refer me to their help page, and tell me to mark everything as spam!!! They won't even respond anymore. I've gone to their forum page to complain, only to be ignored there too. Never seen such useless customer service.

      After 2 dozen emails to Yahoo's Customer Care, regarding being inundated with disgusting, and straight up offensive spam emails, and only receiving 2 response's, telling me to "mark each one as spam", referring me to their useless help page, and recommending that I pay for their premium service, I filed this complaint. To my disbelief, Yahoo responded, and told me that I should "mark each as spam, and go to their help page!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!? That is the reason I filed this complaint in the first place!!! This response was from Yahoo's highest level of support too!! I've requested to speak to a supervisor, 3 times, and can't even get a response now. I've never seen such worthless customer support. What a pathetic joke. Their forum board has endless complaints, exactly like mine, and their response is always the same. Also, the amount of spam I am receiving, miraculously has doubled, the same day that I filed this complaint. Clearly Yahoo is responsible for the spam, that's why they refuse to to do anything about it.

      Yahoo has still not provided, any actually useful customer support. If they would have, I would not have been left w/ a BBB complaint, as my only option. Yahoo has previously told me to, "mark each as spam, referred me to their help page, and then told me that can't do anything about this ". Their response to this complaint, was the exact same, useless recommendations, which is why I filed a complaint, in the first place. All of this spam, started about 3 months, so obviously Yahoo has stopped putting any effort into filtering spam, so saying they can't do anything about this, is a joke, because a 2 year old can tell that these are spam. Most of it is nasty, disgusting, and offensive porn spam. Since I filled this complaint, the amount of spam, has literally doubled!! Coincidence,.... I don't think so! Yahoo's forum boards, are literally full of people complaining about the sudden increase in spam. Also, I have replied 6 times to Yahoo's response to this complaint, asking to speak to a supervisor; ZERO REPLIES!! I've never seen such poor customer service.

      No, that is BS; you absolutely have not provided any help. I've requested to speak to a supervisor, 8 times, with ZERO RESPONSES!! This is the absolute worst customer service, that I've ever experienced!!!! Coincidentally, Yahoo has also doubled the amount of spam, since I filed this complaint. Never seen anything like this, pathetic and disgusting customer service.

      It is impossible to recover an account. Even with the correct information, they want you to verify by phone number or email. If said phone number or email is not available anymore, then it is impossible to verify. From there, they want you to pay to talk to their premium customer care service. Just to unlock YOUR OWN account. Horrible service.

      Cannot log in to my email account, yahoo tells me that there is suspicious activity on my account and to use my recovery email. My recovery email is also through Yahoo and they locked me out of that one as well with similar issues. I am unable to get in or find any way to get access to my account. The account is over ten years old and there are important emails, but there doesn't seem to be any way to access my accounts.

      I am beyond frustrated that my personal information is being held hostage.

      Yahoo has locked me out of my e-mail. In order to turn it back on I am being required to pay. I have all my medical and insurance information on this account and cannot obtain it. It's a nightmare.

      I can't login to my email *************************** anymore. When I enter my password it forces me to answer a security question which I cant remember. The password to my account is correct but it doesn't let me into my account. I need my email to be fixed quickly because there's very important things on the email.

      I have been having issues with my Yahoo mail for the last 5-6 days. For some reason Yahoo mail was not showing any emails from the time period of 12/2020 to September 25th 2022.

      This is literally thousands of emails that just disappeared. I tried searching for a way to open up a support ticket. There is no way, Yahoo mail which is a free service just keeps redirecting everyone to a 1-800 number for paid phone support. They want to charge somone 12.99 a month for any kind of support for their free email. There is no way to email or open up a ticket. They have a chat auto bot who just redirects you to their paid phone service.

      I need a tech support agent to contact me. It appears there is some kind of glitch with their yahoo mail where I can't view emails from september 25th to december 2020. There is no way someone could have accidentally deleted these thousands of emails. There is something going on and I need someone to look into this for me.

      3 months ago I upgraded my phone and was provided a new phone number. Since all of my passwords were saved in my phone - I was automatically logged into into my accounts. However, with using a new phone I had to log in manually. By this time I no longer remember my password to my yahoo email. I've been dealing with problems regarding my email account from Yahoo ever since. I've called yahoo and have discovered that now is a "premium paid service" to get assistance per the website. In order to get assistance you have to pass through the 2 factor verification. I can never get pass this step.
      For one - my account was created over 10 years ago - and as stated the phone number previously used to set up the account I no longer have and my name has changed since being married. I have even tried trying to get my old phone number back from my phone carrier - no avail. Every time I call the 2 step verification process is the same even though the reps always tell me the algorithm may change and to call back at a later time. My professional contacts, commercial emails, billing information is connected to this email and Yahoo won't provide a way to help me. I've tried Yahoo Help Center, Tried Customer Care in Yahoo and and they just answer that the cannot help. And why do I have to pay to have assistance? Isn't that illegal? Yahoo email is a a free service. Please help me. I just don't know what else I could do to recover my email account in order to update my information.

      I have recently been locked out of my yahoo email account because it is a very old account I've had since I was young and it didn't have any recovery accounts set up. The online recovery option doesn't work because of the lack of recovery account. I called the customer service number and was greeted by an incredibly rude gentleman that told me they could not help unless I paid them for premium support, which he said was "only $12.99 and i should just pay it". He basically made fun of me for forgetting my password and asked how I planned to keep track of it next. I said I didn't want to pay for the full premium support subscription and that I just needed my password reset, none of the other things he was offering as part of the subscription, and that I would add a recover to account to my email once i got back in. I was put on a brief hold before he returned to tell me he "can't offer free support" and to "call back when I changed my mind about paying the $12.99". The company has basically made it impossible to recover the account online for free and is forcing you to pay a $12.99 monthly subscription just to get you're account reset. And again the customer service was very rude and basically berated me the entire time for forgetting my password, never have I been talked to as rudely and unprofessionally as this guy, all I want is to reset my password so i can log into my email.

      I have an account that was established 07/09/2003. Since I was 10 years old. It's a prodigy.net email.
      I have looked everyone and cannot find anything. ATT nor Yahoo Help can lead me in the right direction.
      MY email is invalid. I get the 550 ... Blank mailhost error.

      I have reason to believe my email has been shut off. What's weird is I can send messages out but cannot receive them back! I tried merging my email and a bunch of other stuff. I can't use it. I'm locked out of several personal accounts I've had for decades because of this and would like a solution to be provided.

      Please help!!! this is so irritating. Why let me login, send stuff out, but not get anything back????

      My wife's email account ************************* which was an email sub account of mine as of 8/12/22 stopped receiving/ sending emails. The email account was originally owned by ATT then transferred to Yahoo. I tried to access this account a number of times contacted att/yahoo support multiple times on the phone for hours for no resolution. we tried multiple times to reset the password without success .The email account is still active I want to be able to recover it. however the recovery email that was set on the account is ************************* so resetting the account sent the reset link to the email account I cannot access. Yahoo proposes that I pay $4.99 / month to have additional phone support to reset the account. I'll pay that if I have to but there had been no change in the account access and had worked flawlessly for years until 8/12/22.

      RESOLUTION: I want a link or text message sent to my email address ************************* or ADD my cell phone number ************ for recovery to be able to gain access to my wife's email account. For reference my email is the master account *************************
