I recently filed a complaint against **************** with the attorney generals office who were very kind and aggressively went after the 'business' and appear to no longer be in business afterward as a result. My concern on Yahoo is when typing in my name ***** ********* and scrolling down you will see a listing with my email and contact information I would like removed, please. It was removed by ****** after my complaint with the ************************ but is now appearing on Yahoo. I would like it removed please. Thank you.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I was initially told to send **** a screenshot to assist them with its removal. I received an email from Yahoo at the same time from the Better Business Bureau saying 'I need to reach out to the company asking them to remove their content'. The problem with their request I have made them aware is the company **************** is no longer in business and are unable to contact anyone. This was a waste of my time.

Better Business Bureau: It appears the false information along with my email and phone number listed by '****************' has been removed by Yahoo, thank you. I suffered a severe injury along with other injuries while staying at the **************** owned by a ***** ***** my attorneys ****** ****** and ***** ***** filed a lawsuit against which is pending and in retaliation listed false information with **************** about myself. When contacting **************** I spoke with an individual who called me a 'honkey' many times despite speaking to him professionally. I addressed my concerns with the ********************************* and shortly afterward the company no longer exists. Thank you.

Subject: Ongoing Account Recovery Issues with Yahoo Details:I have attempted to recover my Yahoo account multiple times, making at least 10 calls to their support team. Each time, I am connected with representatives who either struggle with English or provide no real assistance. Instead of offering an actual solution, they repeatedly give me scripted, unhelpful responses and send me in circles without any progress.Yahoo has failed to fulfill its commitment to helping users regain access to their accounts. Despite following every recommended step, I am still locked out. When I request escalation to a supervisor, my requests are ignored or deflected.This issue is critical because my account contains important personal and financial information that I can no longer access. Yahoo's lack of effective support is unacceptable. This is in regards to my yahoo email. I have been locked out of my e-mail for one week. I have had this same email and phone number for over 30 years. I have made multiple calls spending hours this week to absolutely not get a person to help me. They had me scan my license 3 times front and back and also had me take a selfie that they send to a company to verify my information just to come back and tell me that Im not verifiably. This is ludicrous that they can get away with doing this to people. Now someone is going through my emails that got into my account because they dont help the people who arent hackers etc.Business Response

Im unable to access my Yahoo! email account. When I enter my correct login information, Im prompted to verify my identity, but the verification is sent to a phone number that no longer exists. Additionally, my recovery email is not available for verification. Yahoo! support is only available for a fee, which is unacceptable given the amount of people stuck in this situation. I have used AOL email for decades, logging in every day with my username and password. Then today, they suddenly required two step verification to access my email. I am not capable of receiving the code. The only other option given is to call in and have my credit card ready, because their customer service is a premium service that requires payment. They are extorting people. Demanding a ****** in exchange for email accounts full of personal information, tax documents, letters from loved ones whove passed away. I have had a Yahoo Mail account since 2009 and have never had to pay any sort of fee to have my password reset. I use my email for personal use and my business. To have been purposely locked out of my account for weeks now and then demand money is disgusting.Business Response

The account was opened under ************************************* which was my wife's account. The date of the transaction ranges from February of 2022 to present. My wife passed away April 3, 2023. The amount paid to the business is $1400. The business has not made any effort to resolve the complaint. These transactions were not authorized by me, and I am not responsible for a deceased spouse's bills. When my wife passed away this account was adjusted for me to pay other bills and AOL was not on the list otherwise this account would have been closed sooner. I have no idea what I was paying for AOL would not tell me what the bill was for. This transaction didn't show up in my activities that I check on a monthly basis so I was unaware that I was being charged. The last bill they sent me was a bill that was overdue and threatened to go to collections if not paid.Business Response

I have had a yahoo account since I was 12, meaning I created the password for said account when I was 12 and have not been able to remember it since. I have upgraded my phone and it has just transferred over for year not posing an actual issue yet. Until the other day my yahoo account says I need to enter the password to gain access again. This email is connected to almost everything in my life I simply cannot just create a new one because that poses an issues with all of my other social account ie. ********, snapchat, tiktok, work literally everything. I thought I could call yahoo and have them help me resolve the issue because when I tried to change the password my recovery method is my phone number from when I was 12!! I do not have access to the number any longer. As I said I was going to call only to find out that the only way for me to receive help I got to pay a monthly fee and then additional fees requiring technical support, this is outrageous ive raved about yahoo and always gave them good reviews and support only for this to happen. All I would like is to gain access to my account again ive just got to change my password.Business Response
