I left a lengthy complaint last week about the Yahoo and Frontier transition. I still am not happy with the drama that ensued to get access to my account, but I finally have. I took hours of my time and multiple tries before someone that could help finally did. Thank you for your help *****, I appreciate it.

Yahoo is useless! The Transition From Frontier to Yahoo is a disaster! I have used Frontier for my email for over ********************************************************** November of 2020 but was assured I would always have access to the email. That was confirmed in August of 2023. Even though Yahoo's own Reedit article states that the transition between the two companies is complete and that I should be able to access my Frontier email account by putting in my Frontier email address and password I get a reply that denies me access. After fighting their AI automated system for almost 2 hours and trying to get help by calling Frontier only to be told all access to the account now rests with Yahoo and then finally reaching a live representative (Monday the 25th) It was never resolved. I spent 1hour and 46 minuets trying to sort this out with a person. I was told to call back in two to three days to try again...Possibly not all of my information from Frontier was processed (According to their article it has been) and as a result they can't validate my account so I can set up a new password. So I waited the three days and tried again today and 2 hours later was told to call again in two to three days and try again. They even had me send a copy of a picture ** today which I am furious about and then said it wouldn't work! I hate that they couldn't verify my address and identy with the picture ** and that now the ** is out on the internet...They said it was erased but by now I have my doubts. I don't know what person I need to talk to to fix this but it stinks to high heaven. i know of another person near ***************, ** is having the same problem. Yes I will call again in the time given, but this is not good business and if I could give a negative number for the review I would.

Yahoo would not get emails from ******** for a long time. When I suddenly started complaining about it, I began receiving ads from ********, but I'm still not receiving my confirmation code emails from ********. The only way to complain to Yahoo is to follow their bogus guidelines that any computer person would have already tried, or the other option to pay a monthly subscription for Yahoo to chat with somebody and at this point, I'm already out $834 due to this issue. This was a lot of money, a lot of games that I can never get back with a new account, and a lot of my personal time wasted that i havent even added into this total. The total is just literally the subscriptions that I have paid for. Now I'm going to be wasting Yahoo's time and doing my damnedest to run their business to the ground. Honestly, I don't even know that they can fix this by getting me my emails from ******** at this point because I have wasted my personal vacation time dealing with this that I can't get back, I may never be okay with Yahoo again. I'm not a *****. I'm not the complain to your manager type, but after having to start my sons account all over and watching him be devastated that there's some games that he earned that he can never get back? Oh, I'm complaining. To the entire freaking world. I highly recommend anyone that still has access to their Yahoo account and that still gets all of their emails to switch any of their subscription websites to any other email account. For me, I'm lucky that's just over one paycheck, but thats more than two freaking paychecks for most people! Yahoo is sketchy AF right now, and the world is about to know about it. Don't even reply to me if you're going to "get someone in contact with me", because f*** you. I just need you to ensure my emails are coming from ********. That's all you have to f****** do. That's it. It never had to be this dang complicated.

Horrible platform for customers. Massive issues when dealing with content, authentication, and posting not to mention their unfair and biased content. I've been a user since 2013 and it has gotten to the point to where I literally barely use the account.

My mother changed her phone number and didn't change to the newer number before the previous line got deactivated. She forgot her password and we tried to reset by backup email for it to send us to the customer support line. We called the line and said to help with resetting the password for them to say they cannot help us unless we pay for Yahoo's premium support plans.

On 2/28 my mother called yahoo to get in her account somebody changed her password and it was not her. They are requesting her to send her ID which is ridiculous what happen to the security questions that were used when making the account? Why aren't they requesting the answer to those. We spoke with the manager *** who stated he was not able to give his last name which is weird because I worked in customer service and providing the last name you can do. He provided us with a case number and we would like to take this further. The representative and manager were very rude and was no help. They also requested email addresses from people she may have emailed which were provided but then they stated they could not further assist due to the email addresses that were provided did not have a subject when the email was sent. Again this is beyond ridiculous and is just wrong. They can not text the number she have on file because she no longer have the number. I would definitely appreciate it if someone from corporate further assist because this is ridiculous

I tried to help my sister reset her password and was told I would have to pay for a plan for the customer support people to help me do so. It is outrageous that we have to pay to simply reset our password when they already get paid to help us! Now

Don't really think you should have to pay 13 dollars for customer support just to reset your password. Just wanted to recover an old account that was set as a recovery email for a different service.

Yahoo had hijacked my decades old yahoo account. I reset my password then the password didnt work. They wont let me back into my account unless I agree to pay a fee and give them more personal information. They want my drivers license. I cant even agree to the fee (which I shouldnt have to pay) because they wont let me advance past my lockout status. All of my personal information has been stolen from me. *** tried both phoning and their online help version and still am blocked for days. This is not right.
