      Yahoo subscription scam and Discover card failure I had a terrible experience with Yahoo and Discover. My wife forgot her Yahoo password and we called Yahoo customer service. They told us to pay $12.99 for subscription to reset the password, which we agreed to do only once. However, they charged us multiple times and did not show any subscription details on the Yahoo app. The app even suggested us to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, as if we had no subscription.We disputed the charges with Discover and got a refund, but Yahoo kept charging us $12.99 every month. We contacted Yahoo again and they told us to cancel the subscription on a browser link. We did that and asked for a refund, but they declined. To make matters worse, Discover allowed Yahoo to charge us again, even though we had frozen our account and disputed the recurring transaction previously.To me it is like a subscription scam that Yahoo is running and Discover is enabling. They are robbing innocent customers of their money for services they dont want or need. I have seen many similar complaints about Yahoo on BBB website. I am contacting my senator to ask for legislation to stop such scams.

      Yahoo has repeatedly refused to help me either recover or delete my long time email account unless I give them a credit card number. This is blackmaiI in my opinion!! I have repeatedly changed my passwords and every time I try to log in the new passwords are wrong. This is a crappy way to do business and I will never recommend yahoo email to anyone!

      Before December 2023, YAHOO stole all my email, icloud, all my private legal copies for the last 10 years, took everything on my account and when I Tried to restore my account the operator said I had to pay some ungodly amount to restore my emails and all the other documents i had missing. the person said over and over again, pay and you will get them back, I had no other choice, These people are EXTORTING MONEY. EXTORTION IS AGAINST THE **** I told them i needed to check with my attorney on how to get my emails back and they hung up on me. nI had to create a new user name with another company.NOW, ****** *** is not letting me change my user name so I can pay my bill. HOW DO I GET MY EMAIL FROM YAHOO. And how can I pay my bills without my proper user name.This is unacceptable. We have enough problems. Somebody needs to help **** did not leave a one star rating.

      Tried to get into my old account. We did ID verification 7 times from 7 different reps an i gave them all my info to see if they can get into account because that what they said they needed at the time i been on phone with them now for 4.5hours. I told them i have no access to my number atm on my account and they tried to convince me into buying some sort of package for their service over phone which I DIDNT NEED... so i told them if they do not get things handled i will be contacting future agents to get this handled i been with this company since they came out. i don't like the disrespectful people and the nasty hang *** , they think we as people who don't work for yahoo should have put up with that well they got the wrong person because i will be filing a complaint in mannered time and will be taken in hands the right way. this is not how you run a business and take care of your customer's im very unhappy with this company. also when i sent my picture id in more then 7 times and the represented manger claims that once its sent in its deleted i don't believe that and my personal InfoMation isn't out there somewhere on a file an that not cool at all that how world gets there identity stolen an people that try do the right things have to pay something off that wasn't their fault .please beware and advice from this and go the right route of taking lawful suggestions.

      Yahoo accounts are free to set up and the user signs a TOS that states they will keep the account information current and accurate. Yahoo does provide a premium paid support option for those users who need additional help with a Yahoo account. Outdated recovery information does fall under our paid support assistance.

      Yahoo locked me out of my account and wanted me to pay for a premium service to get a new password reset. I have had the same account since 2008 without any problems for now.

      Tried to get into my old account. We did ID verification. I told them my number had changed and they tried to COERCE me into buying some sort of package which I DIDNT NEED. I told them to keep the email or delete it. As I wont be ever using their company again!

      Yahoo both practices censorship and has a double standard where Freedom of Speech is concerned. Yahoo thinks nothing of posting an article where the writer mentions *********************** But, if someone posts a comment using the EXACT SAME WORDS that the writer of the article uses, then, yahoo REFUSES to allow the comment to be posted! I can't count the number of times that my comments have been denied even though I HAVE FOLLOWED the guidelines and I have used the EXACT SAME WORDS that yahoo ALLOWED in a news article! Until yahoo treats the article writers AND the people who post comments the EXACT SAME WAY, everyone should boycott yahoo!!!

      I got charged for a 30 day subscription from Yahoo, that I signed up for back in November. As of January 10th **** I was charged $12.99. so I called yahoo to get a refund less than 24 hours later and to end my subscription , and they denied my request of the refund. I only had 37 dollars and I was going to use that to get some food for my kids for the next couple of days. Just so disappointed , why couldn't I just get a refund and go on with my day. SMH, sad.

      They were unable to get me into my yahoo email despite the paid premium. Very rude customer support. But the main thing is that they were unable to get me into my own email. Can't change the number despite the info given or anything. This email is connected to important things
