In July 2024, ***** ********** visited my home claiming to represent Freedom Forever and pressured me into signing a solar contract. I later discovered the actual dealer was ******* **** ***** with *********** a third party who never met with me. **** records show ***** was not affiliated with Freedom Forever. After signing, I waited months for roofing by ******** (completed in October), then panel installation in November. The system failed multiple inspections due to:Incorrect fire alarm placement Improper grounding Violations of fire code clearance These issues should have been caught in planning. ******** also returned multiple times to fix leaks. Despite reaching out, no one from the Fresno branch responded, and my project specialist, **** ******, never contacted ***** April, I was told I failed to sign a required change order. I never saw or approved it. After a panel relocation due to firecode clearance, I was informed my systems output would drop from ****** to ****** kWhnever disclosed in advance. ******* later claimed he objected but blamed internal engineering. A Freedom manager admitted the system wouldnt meet my needs.Ive requested cancellation since May. ***** opened an investigation but cant locate my complaints. On July 2, I was offered two poor options: accept reduced production, or approve a larger system at $0.275/kWhfar above ******* average. My home uses ****** kWh/year. The new system covers only 88%, not the promised 100%.***** has no active account for me, yet they attempted to switch me to SunRun and GoodLeap without my consent. On July 1, they sent a change order for a system that can't legally proceed.I am formally requesting full cancellation and removal of the system at no cost. If not resolved immediately, I will hire a licensed contractor to remove the panels, seek legal action, and file complaints with CSLB, CPUC, and BBB.Business Response

I had a solar panel company come knock at my door when I first purchased my house they told me I could cancel at any timeand was not obligated to go through with the project, but I had to sign the document and give my social in order to see what my was at. I immediately canceled and said it was out of my budget a year later I see that it has impacted my credit And now they are saying that I owe them $1200 for the cameras they installed on the outside of my home and then changed their and said now I owe them $3000 for the camera. I told them I didnt sign and I had no records of a nonrefundable camera. They gave me some paperwork showing my signature clearly not my signature. She then told me it was a DocuSign and I couldve made it be whatever I wanted. I would at least ask that I only have to pay the original $1200 that was sent to me not the $3000. They have now decided that this bill is going to be. I honestly dont think I should have to pay this at all as Im already paying safe street $70 a month for these cameras.Business Response

I am filing a complaint against Freedom Forever regarding their failure to pay their subcontractor, Storm Guard, for roofing work completed on my home over 100 days ago. Due to this non-payment, *********** has threatened to place a lien on my propertyeven though I have fulfilled all of my responsibilities as a customer.I was told my loan covered both the solar and roofing work. *** made every loan payment, yet Freedom Forever has not paid the roofing contractor. This raises serious concerns about where my funds have been allocated and whether theyve been misused.Ive emailed Freedom Forever multiple times and called their representative, ***** ********, as I stated I would. I received no response. Three people were included in my communication, and not one has responded. The lack of communication and accountability is unprofessional and unacceptable. This situation has caused significant stress, and I believe it may also constitute a breach of contract, as Freedom Forever has failed to uphold their end of our agreement by not paying their subcontractor, placing my property at legal risk, and offering no support or resolution.I am requesting immediate confirmation that no lien will be placed on my home, proof the contractor will be paid, and a full breakdown of how my loan funds have been disbursed. Freedom Forever must be held accountable for their actions and how they treat their customers.Business Response

My roof has a leak due to the installation of the mounting bracket for my solar panel. I noticed the **** when I got back from Christmas at my sisters last year, 2024. I contacted the solar company, Freedom Forever Solar, and they sent out a crew hoe pulled the bracket and put it back down with no adhesive to seal the area. They said the leak was from my roof vent and they needed another opinion so I got ****** roofing to come out and do an inspection. I sent the results to the solar company and they disagreed with the finding. After several months of back and forth emails and phone conversations with them saying they would not fix the leak I used my maintenance plan to fix the leak. Roof Repair Hub was sent out and did an inspection and I sent it in and they said they disagreed again. I asked the solar company to just come out and move the panel so Roof Hub could fix only the roof leak and then the solar company can reinstall the panel because I did not want to void the warranty. Freedom Forever Solar gave me ever excuse and never got back in touch till I did a complaint with the Attorney General of Tx. then they gave me a number to call their customer service and I did and now after over 6 months i am waiting for them to do an assessment about this issue. I have attached the inspection from both roofing companies Please helpBusiness Response

On May 30th 2025, a company called "Freedom Forever Solar" finished installing solar panels on my roof. A day or 2 later, the power started randomly shutting off intermitingly throughtout my house. Now June 30th, electricity runs through only some overhead lights and the living room of my house. The kitchen (which has the newest wiring) doesnt work at all and Freedom Forever says "nothing we did is causing this). Yet, I had AAA electrical come to take a look and said "the ************* expedited what was going to happen anyway". *** also said it will cost about $12,000 to fix. Since Freedom forever is in part responsible, I would ask they pay half of the 12k, remove the solar panels, any electrical parts they initially installed and terminate any contractual obligations for "my" solar project. Theyre denying any responsibility and also refusing to give me the actual paperwork they had me and my mom sign. (Even after i told the sales people, my mom has dementia and has been declared leagily incompotent). FF didnt even bother to test my electrical system to see if it could handle solar panels. Now they're threating legal action against me if i dont sign more paperwork. Any advice on to handle this would be appreciated. Anymore questions, comments or concerns please reach out to me. Thank you.**** ********. P.s. i need another place to send the paperwork to. Files are too big.Business Response

In the Spring of 2024 an extremely pushy solar salesperson came to our front door and explained all the wonderful benefits we would receive from getting solar with them. We wanted to learn more so we let the salesperson in our home. He went over some things with us and we agreed to do a soft credit pull. We thought about it for a couple days and decided we did not want to spend the money. The salesperson wasnt happy but ultimately informed us he would cancel our request. Now, its June 25th 2025 and we received a notification that our loan that we never took out and never received any solar for is due. We have made MULTIPLE phone calls and been given the run around from both Freedom Forever and their financing company ******. This is our last resort and our next phone call is to our attorney. We have an $11,125.75 dollar loan for solar WE NEVER RECEIVED. No one at either company will resolve this issue. And it is also showing on our credit report.Business Response

On February *******, a representative from Freedom Forever ************* came to our house and stated to me and my wife that he was a representative of the above reference coompany associated with our local electric company, *************. He stated that the power company was trying to assist customers with high electric costs and was trying to help reduce the customer costs. He flashed his badge and stated that with solar panels, our bill would not get above $125/month. He asked if he could see a graphic history of our bills. I printed the graph from the computer. He asked me to initial the tablet. I did and then he stated that I was accepted. On March 21, I opened an email from ****** and discovered that I had signed a contract for $31,000 with a term of 25 years. I immediately called Freedom Forever and cancelled the project. I then called Mosaic and informed them of the cancellation. ****** informed me that they would cancel their contract and refund any money paid upon receipt of the cancellation from Freedom. This has been ongoing since March 21, 2024. Mosaic extended the due date until this year. I have made 2 payments of $125.41. They have now extended the payment due date until December of 2026. I received an email from ****** stating that they have filed Chaper 11 bankruptsy. This has been a nightmare for us. I would like for Freedom to cancel the project and notify Mosaic and for Mosaic to release the lein on my property. My Mosaic account number is ****** fBusiness Response
