      Freedom Forever will be the next bankrupt solar company. They have horrible business practices. There salesman are pushing an *** scam in IL claiming to get you almost 80% of your system paid for! This is a flat out lie. If anyone ever mentions solar tax max or solar tax pros. Call the police and report them immediately. They are actively engaging in *** fraud and will be arrested and ticketed. I Repeat avoid this company at all costs! Not to mention their main loan financing company just filed bankruptcy. Its next for Freedom Forever. All the 5 star reviews are faked. The 1 stars are the legit real reviews from people.

      I had originally went with another company, the salesman for Freedom Forever showed up the night before install. He promised me all types of things, including that it would be installed within a month, and getting me a better price, along with stating a year for free (they would give me a lump sum to cover the yearly coast), plus an additional amount of money for a referral my friend was losing, AND that a spot of my roof would be fixed.... AND got me out of the contract with previous company.... HOWEVER, the permit took forever!!!! I had to end up calling the city/county and getting THEIR mix up fixed, this put us 2 months behind schedule! When the man came out to do the survey, I informed him of the previous company's layout and where I wanted things, even sent the original plans/blueprints to the man. When the install showed up (over 2 months behind schedule) the people showed me a completely DIFFERENT plan than what was originally agreed on with survey/design team. It took some phone calls and ******* first thing in the morning, but got it somewhat how it was supposed to be (but not 100%). I am now a month after install STILL waiting for inspection because NOTHING IS ON YET!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could just end this contract NOW and have them come remove the panels, this is a joke!!!!! Everything was a lie, all the "guarantee's" from the sales man, no one I speak to knows about, so no my roof wasn't fixed either..... I wish I never opened door to this sales man, because I was lied to, bait and switch, and now I'm locked into a dang contract with a company that has done nothing but stressed me out and put me in a horrible position. And NO ONE there that I have spoken to can do a dang thing about anything of course, or at least ATTEMPT to correct this situation! NOT a happy customer. DO NOT RECOMEND THIS COMPANY!

      This has been such a maddening experience. I started with Freedom June 2024 and the job still isn't completed. All last summer I got constant messages that my job was delayed. By fall I started pushing to get it done before winter set in and the ground froze up too much to trench for the ground array. That didn't happen. They finally installed the equipment mid January but could not trench due to the frozen ground. Finally early spring the trenching got done but when we finally got the electric inspector he found a couple issues. I am still waiting for them to come out and fix the issues, It's been about a month now. In the mean time I am accumulating interest on a loan and not producing any power, and we are one half way through the energy producing months. IF I WERE TO DO THIS AGAIN I WOULDN'T!

      It is now July 17. A full month after I filed my complaint. FF got back to me and promised to get things moving. All thats happened is getting delay notices. Nothing concrete has yet been accomplished. Have not seen one person. I have even contacted the state attorny generals office, but I don't know if they have taken any steps yet. I don't know how this company stays in business. Makes me concerned about their warranty.

      Our system has never worked and is send all the produced energy back into the grid! I keep hearing we'll call you back! It's been over a year of paying for the solar and a full electric bill. Did troubleshooting with the equipment manufacturer and determined the current transformers are hooked up backwards! All firmware has been updated. Now I've told freedom forever the problem but they refuse follow through sending someone out or even calling me back. Per the contract they are liable for up to a year of incorrect installation. Well it's been over a year. Power goes out and nothing happens even with the backup battery! Fix your mistakes! I'm tired of the treatment, this is quickly becoming a legal issue...
