*************************** was a saint. Knocked out two bathrooms and kitchen light fixtures in no time. Tricon needs more people like Connor. Educational and very helpful with the issues he worked on and how I could avoid the problems in the future.Tricon Residential

On August 20 I paid $1.99 to tour a home in ***********, *******. The front door is supposed to be opened by them remotely. The door was never unlocked. I tried again and same issue. I called their customer service and was left on hold over 15 minutes. I also emailed with no response. Now I need to dispute this charge with my bank. Imagine how many innocent people they've scammed for $1.99 to tour homes they never unlock.Tricon Residential

Currently renting from them- my whole household got Covid which put us out of work for a couple weeks. And I ended up in the hospital for a few months I applied for rental assistance in the middle of May because I knew I wouldnt have ****** rent. I tried for weeks to get in contact via email with someone from tricon because we needed the W9 form for the rental assistance. Finally on June 8th I receive an email stating that I was late and I had 3 days to pay or leave. I emailed the lady back explained the situation and she sent me everything I needed for rental assistance. The rental assistance company tried to contact her so they could disperse payment but no response. On the 17th they locked my out of my account so I called 4 times and emailed multiple people. All 4 phone calls I was told I would get a call back and no one called. I was told over email that I was in an active eviction and I told the lady we had rental assistance but couldnt get in touch with anyone. She apologized and said there mustve been a communication mix up. She was supposed to call me within ***** minutes and didnt. I sent another email and was told she is out of the office until Tuesday. Finally got in contact with someone they go to fill the paperwork out to receive payment and never finished it and now they are saying they dont participate with United Way this is almost 3 months of emails and they completely stopped responding in July until I called today and was told that they participate with other rental assistance programs except for United way. This is the only assistance company in my county. So now Im facing an eviction due to having Covid even though they can easily get the payment. If this is how they treat their renters then they should be shut downTricon Residential

I own a home next to a Tricon rental home in **** ******. As a neighbor of this rental home, I wanted to discuss a tree that is covered in parasites and pushing the fences among other things. So far, I have yet to make any progress and the persons I have contacted are telling me to call someone else. As a neighbor, I would expect my neighbor to have a decent conversation around a parasite infested tree on the property line. Not one person that I spoke to was willing to represent as the home owner, or offer guidance on how we can work together on this mutual issue between homes.Tricon Residential

Frustrated tenant!! The ********************** is horrible!! On Sunday night 8/7/22, we noticed our a/c wasnt working right. So we submitted a maintenance request on line per the process. On Monday 8/8, my fianc received a text that we have an appointment scheduled for Tuesday 8/9 between the hours of 1-5 pm. Here it is, Tuesday night and maintenance never showed up. (we are now going on the 3rd night, sleeping in a hot ******* house, in the middle of the summer). It wasnt until the end of the day on Tuesday, that Tricon posted an updated maintenance request, in their portal, stating that a return visit was needed.The problem is, that They dont communicate. They dont let you know what the status of your request is. Apparently, They just dont show up. I Had to spend an hour and a half on hold, to try and track someone down to talk to, to find out why the request was rescheduled. And when I did get someone, I was told it was marked as a missed visit. Missed Visit??? What does that mean? The girl on the phone could not tell us what that even meant, but said, Im sorry Sir, we have scheduled another appointment for you on Wednesday 8/10. DID I MENTION, THAT WE HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A/C SINCE SUNDAY NIGHT!!! It is now Tuesday night and no one has come out, to even look at it and wont until Wednesday hopefully!! Its pretty hot in here and my poor senior dog too!! This should have been taken care of on Monday!!This isnt our first incident with maintenance. We had to get a supervisor involved, for a previous problem, with water leaking out of our garbage disposal. Again, no one from the maintenance department returns your calls, texts or emails. Why give out contact information for people, who dont ever get back to you. This is really bad business. Tricon has no problem taking my expensive rent money monthly, but God forbid you have a problem that needs fixing!! Lets make this right!!! Sincerely,Your frustrated tenant.Tricon Residential

I'm absolutely disgusted with this company. I paid the $1.99 for the self-tour for 3 days. I worked from 8:30 to 6 today from **** to visit this house TODAY. My fianc got an email from *************************** informing us about the tour and if we have any issues, to give her a call (phone number was provided)We got there and the link provided to allow location and photo did not work. We couldn't login in, kept getting user disabled. FOR THESE CASE OF EMERGENCIES, HAVE A HOTLINE WHERE SOMEONE CAN HELP. Because ****** responded to our text of us seeking for help telling us she doesn't even work for them anymore and doesn't understand why they are using her personal information. I would LOVE to know what the heck that means and why I was scammed and wasted my time after a hard day of work for nothing. I want my money back. I do not care that it's $1.99 since that can triple by this issue happening to so many others. I'm so glad I did not use my main debt card. This is disgusting and I don't want your apology since that does not make up for the gas and time, my family and I have wasted trying to see one of your properties.Tricon Residential

Worst company ever !! I been a month without a oven an a microwave , i called and every time i do they send me to maintenance department and everytime is an hour wait and 45 min and they solve nothing . No one calls back , and the same c*** over and over , telling me about vendor will call and is been a month , last thing was that spoke to the maintenance surpervisor and now waiting a few more days , and for sure they dont reinburst , because paying for a rent so high of almost $2,600 and not getting what you expected to get . I seriously do not recommend this company very irresponsible , since day one , i also pay 2 months for rhe smart lock and no one came to set it and never call , always saying someone was going to , is crazy insane .Tricon Residential

Once you apply with a move in date on the application, they change it to two weeks earlier with no flexibility. Move into house for rent with inspect problems. My one year old got bit multiple times by fire ants. Had to take off work, go spend $30 in ant bait and address it myself. Can I get reimbursed? Mail keys with no information on what mail box number (2 weeks in with no information on how to figure this out, many calls and emails). Community pool, no information in how to get access key. Dishwasher was flooded with water and needed fixing. Microwave light didnt work. Dirty windows, someone called to follow up on that and said they were dirty, never came to clean like they said. Hard to communicate with anyone. You call and will get 10 different people and 10 different answers. Can I end my lease now?Avoid Tricon at all costs.Tricon Residential

This company doesn't deserve a star at all. Everyday this company has called me asking for more documents and no matter what I send, it isn't good enough. The documents they ask for aren't even on the list of documents needed. I'm retired military and they made up a form that doesn't exist, what is a ***************** Rewards" letter? I sent my DD-214 and Disability letter and they said it wasn't good enough. I sent 6 months worth of bank statements and after 4 days, they denied my application based off of something they heard and not factual. Every time I reapplied they kept the $50 application fee. When I tried to call and straighten things out, I was hung up on. I called back and they put me on hold for over 10 minutes and claimed the person working my application was busy and she would return my call. My phone never rang, but I kept getting voicemails and she talked as if she tried to call me. I realized she's using an application called "Sly Dial" that let's you send voicemails without talking to the person. She won't actually return my calls. I was discriminated against and they took my money and left me hanging. If you're a person of color, don't apply to their company. They will take your money and deny you every time.Tricon Residential

However, the items considered for rental qualifications include criminal history, previous evictions, bankruptcy, landlord collections, utility delinquencies, FICO score, rent-to-income ratio, civil court history, level of collections, charge-offs length of rental history, and late payments. Beyond the landlord collections, we look at your credit history, the quality and quantity of your credit. The applications representative who reviewed this application has made several attempts contacted **************** directly to discuss the denial offline but unfortunately has not been able to reach him. Direct contact information was provided via voicemail, we ask **************** to please return our call at your most convenient time so that we may further discuss the denial. So far so good. The application process was amazingly fast! Within 48 hours we had an answer on our application and in another 48 hours we were approved to move into the home. I wasted so much money on other property management companies doing applications and did not even hear back from them. We are so excited to be moving into a new home today!Tricon Residential
