My on-line quote for home owners insurance was radically different from the one quoted by *******************************, the AAA agent I was referred to for purchasing a policy. I used AAA's on-line HO quote calculator for a price on HO insurance and got a quote for $1,772 (plus membership fee). I was put in touch with *******************************, who asked for the exact same information that I had already provided on-line. He quoted me about $2,200 plus membership fee. WTF!!! I have emailed him four times asking why the difference, but he is ignoring my request. I am about to file formal complaints with the California ***** of Insurance, but first would like to give AAA the opportunity to explain the difference.

I've been a loyal AAA Insurance member for NINE years. I had no tickets or accidents for years, until 2019, when I was rear-ended by a driver who tailgated me for 2 miles or more. He received the ticket, yet my AAA Insurance Company found me 50% at fault. Now I'm stuck with an insurance company that I don't want to have anything to do with for 5 years. I was eligible for some discounts which I have not been receiving for years until recently. I found out a year or more later, which was by accident, that *** has an Accident Forgiveness benefit which I never was informed about. WHY? I'm not sure what my agent does other than collect commissions off of my insurance policies while kicking back in her office. I have had to call *** for road side assistance twice in years past. The *** dispatcher tells me in both instances that they will arrive within the hour. Two hours later a tow truck shows up, but it is some fly by night company. The branch that I have been going to for years is now closed and I have to drive clear across town for anything and everything. Last, but certainly not least my auto insurance renewal just went up $516, while homeowners renewal just went up $321! When is *** changing their name to ZZZ TRIPLE ZILCH!

I hate dealing with insurance companies, but recently had a hail clam with AAA insurance and it could not have been any better. They inspected the damage and *************************** my adjuster was great to work with. I sent the information he asked for and they mailed me a check. I rarely wrte reviews but AAA insurance and ****** were a pleasure to work with and wanted to let others know that AAA is a great company to work with. I would like to thank *************************** and AAA insurance for service exceptional

*** sent a letter to inform me that they cannot complete my car's registration renewal because of not having proof of insurance. I was shocked!!! I have been a loyal Triple AAA customer since 2017. I even have my auto/bill pay set up with my ******************** account. What in the world does the *** talk about? So I called Triple AAA and I was told that they did not receive my January **** payment. Contrary to my bank records, it showed that a payment of $355.06 was electronically processed and paid to CSAA on 1/17/24. I was advised by CSAA to wait a few days and check with them again. Maybe after a couple of days or so, my payment will finally show up on their end. I called them again on two separate occasions, but CSAA firmly DENIED that they received my January 17th **** payment. So I turned to my bank to file a fraudulent transaction, but I was told to initiate/request ***ment Research on Bill *** instead. CSAA was lying to its teeth because today, 1/26/24, I received an e-mail from my bank confirming that CSAA (***ee) received the amount of $355.06 on 1/19/24!!! CSAA canceled my car insurance because they said they did not receive payment for more than 30 days already, but in reality, they did! Worse of all, I called them this morning and I was put on hold for an hour. I thought that Triple AAA is the best and fastest car insurance, I was WRONG. And instead of making things right by simply giving me a refund of $355.06, they avoided me and put me on hold!!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention, CSAA asked me to put a $2,000 (equivalent to 50 % down payment) in order for them to re-write my policy. This is an UNACCEPTABLE and AUDACIOUS business practice!!! Is this the way you treat your customers? You THIEVES! I am just a "small guy" compared to you, a GIANT CORP!!! GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!!

What is the point of being insured by the reputable AAA especially paying tow service when they dont have your back nor concerns to not just high but literally any standards at all. They believed the words of the 3rd party tow THEY sent out over their own valued customer. Called ********************** (insurer) for a tow NOT A BATTERY SERVICE. Was sent out a 3rd party company tow without being notified. *********** (Crossroads Tow) ended up attempting a jumpstart without notifying owner(me)and ended up frying whole fuse box. Causing $1700 damages on brand new 2023 Lexus. Was also accused of jumpstarting own car by AAA. AAA did NOT render any tow services though still needed at 10:30pm. AAA did NOT inform car was not towable until I had to call myself after waiting ***************************************************** good hands.Had to call own Lexus roadside assistance to inform different type of tow truck needed the next morning. Submitted video surveillance of tow footages clearly to jumpstarting car and still sided ***********. Went thru 3 men from AAA, *****,member relations, *******************,claim adjuster and *******************************, mediator. All men. Felt like I was treated with women/gender discrimination and incompetency from start to end. Took almost 7wks to actually have (*******) phone contact me. Everything else was email form of communication. Emailed claim adjuster 2x for supervisor for over a week after being told one will be in 48hrs contact. ******* finally reached out, reopen case, stated he will review the surveillance within weekend and respond following tues. Never received any calls, messages had to reach out myself once again 2 days past promised date. *******, admittedly to forgetting about my case, reviewed surveillance within the day and got back to me day after to inform they are not reliable and if I want to pursue 3rd party tow on my own to do so and found none other than myself reliable for the damages caused by tow company sent out from AAA themselves.

CSAA is a ripoff and big run around. Been 45 days, no answers to claim and got a letter stating to te effect that it could be a year. Their insured hit my car and owned up to it, witnesses and their insured owned up to it to the police. Litigation here I come and complaint/grievance to the State Insurance Coorporation.

Filed a claim after a not at fault accident where the opposing vehicle struck us from the passenger side when they were double parked and we tried to go around. The opposing party slammed the gas to turn left and ran into us. We tried to exchange information but the opposing party was unwilling. Cops were called and eventually they showed up to have us exchange information and it turns out the opposing party that was driving did not have a driver's license nor was she insured under that vehicle. Her husband was the insured party.Called AAA and they told us that we need to contact the opposing party's insurance company since we only have liability insurance with AAA. We called their insurance company and after a month of back and forth, they decided that because the driver was not insured, they were not willing to pay out for the claim. I went back to call AAA and they were not willing to pay out anything since the other party was uninsured, they blatantly refused to contact the other party's insurance company. AAA did not offer anything until I looked through the policy and had to FIGHT them tooth and nail for $3,000 under our uninsured motorist coverage. At this point, AAA at no point suggested that the car would be TOTALED and marked SALVAGED. So not only do we get the vehicle marked as salvaged devaluing the car by 50%+, but they also kept refusing to even contact the other party. This is absolutely ridiculous and after speaking to many friends and family members, they have never had an issue like this. AAA should be ashamed of themselves for pulling a stunt like this.

Filed a claim when a tweaker hit my iron fence. Cost us $3,600 to put up. The lady left me her insurance card and info, I had the driver's license number from the driver, and she even left her physical license plate behind. Anyhow, after contacting claims, and not getting a response back, I was told by an incompetent claims rep, that since she could not make contact with the insured, my claim would be denied. Lol what a joke. Do they really think anyone whose GUILTY is just going to casually answer and CONFESS their fault in the property damage claim? This is how these companies fare so well; by blatantly defrauding victims of these types of damages. Now I know, I can slam into someone's house, give them my info, and simply not answer the phone call from the insurance company. The insurance laws in CA desperately need changing!

Horrible car insurance. Doesn't cover anything unless you know the ins and outs of how to work the insurance lingo. They are definitely not out to help but just to get your money. The most unfriendly insurance reps I have ever experienced. They even closed a claim with me at fault without ever even having ******* talk to me!
