      If I could leave them zero stars.... I would. This company does NOT care about their "customers" they care about money. I asked them for help and to work with me on my mortgage. What did they do? They increased, by HUNDREDS of dollars, my monthly mortgage payment! When I first reached out to them, asking for assistance and for them to work with me, their response was "I'm not behind on my payments enough, to get any assistance" So, when I DID get behind, they slapped me with a threat of foreclosure and sent me to collections. I reached out to another company for mediation which only lasted 3 months. Their solution, when the other companys time for assistance ran out, they raised my monthly payment EVEN MORE. I promise you.... THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THE CUSTOMER. What THEY care about, is money. Period.
      I will NEVER allow them to be my lender EVER AGAIN. They are by far the quest mortgage company to work with

      After several calls, txt and emails trying to get my final loan disclosure they sent it giving me less than an hour to make it to the back for a cashiers check to close the next day out of state. Yes all my paperwork was all submitted on time. The spam calls after our credit pull was horrible and still dealing with them. Not my first house to buy but the worst experience ever.

      There are zero safety nets and products that pennymac has in place to prevent double payment to insurance companies and creating chaos in your escrow.They don't have any consumer protections, but they sure ask for account verification's many times over on the phone calls. They have a very horrible phone system you have to navigate through, takes very long to get an agent and sometimes it hangs up on you after spending 20-30 mins on the phone. Overall experience has been stressful and frustrating to say the least. Don't expect them to have your best interest either when a problem gets created by them, you are powerless and they tell you deceiving things that come to find out aren't true. I can go on, but if you're reading this you get the picture. Avoid the headache and if you already have them, stay on top of your escrow and insurance agents.

      Starting from our initial inquiry we were met with professionalism and understanding. Everything was explained and any changes that came about during the process were dealt with the same. We are happy to be with Penny Mac and hope to continue. Thank you everyone.
