  Did a refi with a closing date of 8/28/2023 with funds to be released by the 3rd I had a purchase contract on a investment property with a closing date that expired on the 5 long story short loan took to long and the contract expired and I still had no funds to purchase the property. Once the funds were available I went to seller attempting to purchase the property and he said because he received another offer I would have to be more comparable to his new offer so price went up 10 grand and I only pulled enough for the original purchase price of the home now I'm stuck can't buy the property because I don't have enough funds and stuck with a mortgage payment for the cash I'm holding I explained all of this to my officer prior to applying and he said 2 weeks we could have loan closed it took a month which ran me past deadline of contract I recommend using figure lending my last refi took a week and a half no issues I only used penny because my home mortgage was already through them

  My loan was also purchased by PennyMac a year ago. I have an FHA Loan and unfortunately, my earning has been reduced. PennyMac website says to call, because they may have some options during temporary difficulties. I called for a Loan Modification and was offered payment arrangements which has put me further in the arrears, increased my Late Charges, and added more stress to my limited finances. I will make one final attempt to include a Housing Counselor on my next call for HELP to PennyMac. Anyone wants to buy a Townhome in Southwest Atlanta? This company is aware of our economy and in my opinion should have realistic options available to their customers. I would NEVER allow PennyMac to become my lender in the future.

  Neither R**** nor A*** knows their job. They didn’t communicate with each other. Repeatedly I had to send in the same documents numerous times. Asked to speak to supervisors, never happened. Worst experience of my life. I was stress for two months

  I've had 2 mortgages with PennyMac and never had a bad experience. Their whole team is very professional and treat you like family. My last closing was so easy with Rosaria helping and staying on top of the whole process from start to finish. My wife and I can't thank the PennyMac team enough for such an amazing experience! Thanks again for such a great experience.
