      Just right off the bat, stay far away from PENNYMAC loans!
      They just hiked my monthly payment up $100/month for insurance rates and taxes going up $490 more this year and just states that they have to get the money back from last year as well! Run from this company, as far as you can!

      This company full of lies they will tell you lies after lies . worse loan ever . try to take off my PMI and they told me NO we never promise to take off PMI . I only owe 25% of my house value . this bank is JOKE .

      Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. My mortgage was sold to them without my consent and I had nothing but problems with these parasites the whole time I owned my house. I hope they get put out of business in the near future because they are absolutely worthless.

      They won't stop harassing me to get a home equity loan. They keep writing letters which say they're "IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR HOME LOAN" and it's just some advertisement to try to get me to get a home equity loan. Over and over, like I've gotten maybe 10 of these. Now they're calling me. I've asked them to stop many times and they just keep doing it. Their website is garbage, a lot of important stuff barely works, and I'm just disappointed that my loan was sold to them. Really, really wish they'd just shut up about getting a home equity loan.

      PennyMac Loan Services made it so easy for me to purchase my home in 2017 and refinance this same home in 2023 from the application to the closing.
      I was informed about the process, required documents needed to move forward, and along with the at-a-glance Progress Tracking online, my loan officers called me regularly to see if I had any questions.
      If you're looking for a mortgage company that you can trust, that provides professional services, and keeps you informed every step of the way, I highly recommend PennyMac.

      The absolute worst loan servicer I have ever had. Last year they never paid my property taxes, I had to pay them to avoid a tax sale. This year they didn’t pay my insurance premium and there was a lapse in coverage then they charged me for a policy provided by them. I finally paid the premium to reinstate the policy and I was reimbursed 3 months later. Recently they neglected to pay my property taxes again. If I could switch to a different servicer I would in a heartbeat.

      I did a streamline FHA review with PennyMac to reduce MIP and interest when they both went down. It saved me hundreds and the process couldn't have been simpler. I would not have known about the new FHA reduction to MIP if they had not reached out to me. The team was great to work with.
