      i was in the market for an air compressor.....Did some research and spoke to salesperson at my local long island store. Having some hesitation, he encouraged me to purchase and said i had 90 days to try it out. If I wasn't happy, return it!Sounded like a good plan until I was told by the cashier that returns would incur a 20% "re-stocking" fee. I told he that wasn't right and left the item at the counter. I will simply purchase the item at *********** Lowes or ******** They accept returns with a smile...no quesitons asked and no bull sht "re-stocking" fee.

      This is in Regard to my purchase at Harbor Freight of a6x48 belt sander that I purchased 03/03/23 after picking this item up from the ************* store as there was no mail orders advailble I spent 3 hrs assembling it and when I turned on the motor the blew off my breaker. This was with no load on the motor as they didnt include a belt with this . I called the store which is **************************************************************************************************************** a customer service number which I called the woman I talked to said there were no parts for this as it was discontinued??upon talking further she now tells me that its a very popular tool and all parts are on back order ? What theres a big demand for brand new tool parts ?? I ask to speak to a supervisor and she told me she would find the parts I needed at there warehouse 3 weeks later I get a form letter that said sorry no parts available come on Harbor Freight you sell tools but no parts ?I even wrote to there CEO and received no responds . I cancelled my credit card with them and Ill warn people about there poor customer service and junk ******************** *********************

      Why are they scanning my drivers license? Seems like invasion of privacy not to mention if the store has a data breach.

      Would have left a zero if possible. Bought a generator that was returned and realized they didnt give me a key. I had to order one online and they told me instead of 5 days to return they would extend the time to see what happened. I got an email saying they cancelled my order so I took the ignition switch off and started it to see if it worked after waiting for almost 2 months, and it dont work right. Now they are telling me they cant do anything because its been more than 5 days. DONT BUY ANYTHING OFF THE OPENED PRODUCTS AREA. Im now out around ***** dollars. They are very untruthful and do not stand behind anything they can GET AWAY WITH.

      Great prices on tools, c*** customer service...I went in today and we were looking for a valve for our pressure chamber, we tried to get some help with locating the part, but the male employees were too busy simping on the one female employee that was there. When they were talking c*** about other customers in the store when we came up to help, we described what we were looking for...It was nothing complex just a standard valve that goes on an air hose...She told us she didn't have anything like that in stock and went back to talking to her co-workers, at this point I walked back over to the section we had been looking in and finally found the valves and one that would fit our pressure chamber...but it wasn't in stock apparently...This is the ***** ***** store on five miles and Fairview...Every time we go in there this particular cashier makes it really apparent that it is inconvenient for her to help out her customers, not just us, but others as well

      Never doing business with this organization again. I worked for McMaster **** supply for 37 years, so I know how a proper industrial supplier should operate. I wanted to purchase a 2 each set of 22 ton **** stands since they ran a presidents day sale at 20% off. I called ahead twice to the ********************* store to make sure they had a set in stock and the associate said he did, even though he couldnt figure out what the price of the stands would be at 20%. Should have been my first warning. So we jump in the car and drive across town early Sunday morning to get this done. Get to the store and you cant buy the ones on display, so they check the back for 10 minutes. The kid comes up and says they got 1 each back there and are looking for the other. Another 10 minutes later he announced they dont have any now. He will check local stores. Another 5 minutes and he says there are none in *******. Ive had other problems with HF before, but this ****** me off for the waste of time and gas that it is and I tell him so. He gets smart with me so I say that Ill never do business with them again and just walked out.Save yourself the aggravation a skip this made in ***** shill outlet.
