      **************** purchased a battery charger worked one time in February the second time in April did not work. They gave me a second charger took it home still not working. The boxes the charger came in were all torn up. Called the main Harbor Freight customer service said they are sorry but can't give me a refund as it was past the 90 days. What a terrible company that it does not back up it merchandise. Their products are defective.

      I purchased an item and after getting it home and trying to start it, found it wouldn't start. Returned it to store and was charged a "restocking fee"....Why? This is not a restock, it's a return of a DEFECTIVE item. Will never visit a Harbor Freight again, poor business model.

      Beware!!! If you download the Harbor Freight app you will get endless fraudulent text from different endless addresses. Phishing Scams! Harbor Freight and our government should do more to protect ** from internet crime!

      Ordered a shallow well pump online paid for 5-7 day shipping. Got a e-mail on the 7th saying it shipped. When tracked it said delivered by the 11th but always said label created and showed no movement. I called harbor freight and was told its fine it will be there the 11th . 730pm the 11th it says label created again no delivery date . I called again and was told its on a semi trailer waiting to go to the airport. The 12 I was told they didnt ship on weekends I had to wait 7 business days from the 7th . Funny thing is the 7th is a Sunday. So now Im told they cant do anything until after the 16th so ********************************************************* my pump *** get shipped. Bottom line DO NOT Buy From HARBOR FREIGHT ONLINE! Their shipping is slow if it happens at all. I still have not received my pump or money back. They will lie to you . They will use the Business days bs to their advantage. Their customer service is horrible. Their customer service person are horrible people.

      I purchased a viking battery charger on the website with a gift card and yesterday it quit working. i called in and and they said that since i didnt buy the pretection plan that there was nothing they could do except give me a 15 dollar gift card for a $85 dollar battery charger i purchased a year and two months ago. A lady named ******* at harbor frieght customer service told me it was defective and her supervisor did also. This is not very professional customer service and i have got the inside track clumb membership along with my father and my brother and we buy several tools and equipment from them. i just want a battery charger that works and i would appreciate if they would replace ************

      Bought a Predator tiller/cultivator on sale from nearest HF (30 miles). Got it home: didn't work. Called Tech Support: They couldn't fix the problem so told me to take the tiller back to the store and exchange it. I checked the store's website, which had a banner ad saying they were restocked on tillers. Drove the tiller back. Was told there were no tillers at the store. (While informing me of this, the clerk took the opportunity to make a snide ****** about my poor judgement in trusting what I read on their website.) I asked if I could leave the broken tiller and pick up a new one once they were in stock. Was told that I could not, that all I could do was get a refund on the tiller since I had already brought it into the store, that I would be charged a $40 "restocking fee" (for them to restock the broken tiller?), and that if I wanted to buy the tiller again, I could not get it at the sale price but would have to pay full price.I'll buy my tiller elsewhere. The sticker price might be higher, but in the end it'll be cheaper than being ripped off by HF.

      The experience that I have had with this business location in ********, ** with the security guard is unacceptable. While I have had numerous positive interactions with him , he referred to me as a degenerative and associated with me as a crackhead and using meth, fentanyl like my "peers."They are not my peers. They are his peers. I am 51 year old, retired, disabled American. I am a law abiding citizen, not a degenerative drug user. I will not be associated with or slandered by this security guard or any other working at this business. I know of other situations with this security guard and another working at this store to mistreat my friend and did not respond favorably.

      I purchased 2 rolling toolboxs to be delivered to my home. When I received them both were dented. One so badly I could not open the drawer. I called customer service and they offered me nothing for the one with the dent in the door and offered me $115 for the one I could not open. They said as an apology. The guy who said he was the manager was so arrogant. I told them to come pick both up.

      Pre-paids I prepaid for a toolbox because they didn't have the color I wanted. When I purchased it they said it would be 3-4 weeks but likely to be on next truck. It's been over 4 weeks and will not like me return it. It said it has to be received before I can return it. Well I guess if it never comes it then they don't have to return your money. I called the **** number listed and they told me it's at the store and I go to store and it's not there. They tell me to call **** number and they just put you on hold for hours.
