1 starMy husband was in accident at no fault of his own on Mothers Day. His truck was purchased on **********. A birthday gift that he had been longing for, for years. It had 528 miles on it when it was hit. The frame has to be replaced. It will essentially be a salvaged truck when we get it back, in August when its expected to be ready. Farmers client - the one who hit us, was adamant that they were a great insurance company and would make it right. They have done everything but. We are done with the mere 30 days of loaner coverage and out of a vehicle AT NO FAULT OF MY HUSBANDs. Theyve told us that we have to pay for the next month and a half of loaner coverage out of pocket and MAYBE we would get reimbursed. They have told us that the time it will take to repair is not justifiable. THE FRAME HAS TO HE REPLACED AND ORDERED FROM ****! We cannot control how long it takes **** to get it made and to the collision center. Again, the vehicle we bought BRAND NEW is being rebuilt. It will no longer be the NEW truck we purchased just 11 days before their client pulled out in front of my husband and caused this accident. Ive watched my happy, light-hearted husband become a depressed, stressed man and they have done NOTHING to help. Shame on them. At this point you have proven to be worthless.Review fromSteven G

The WORST experience of my life dealing with these folks. Car was recently damaged in the hail storm and when I tell you Farmers Insurance has been NOTHING but a severe HEADACHE. They are trying to rush the process because they are trying to low ball me. Dam near everybody Ive spoken with has terrible a** attitudes. The poorest commutation from a corporation company Ive EVER experienced. They are trying to cut check/payment that I did not authorize. This is the WORST place for car insurance PERIOD!.Farmers Insurance

I have family members that carry your insurance. They use your insurance for their RV and have an extended policy to help cover the belongings in the camper because they live out of it. Last month they were on their back home to WI from KS and the camper caught fire on the HWY. The camper was a total loss. They lost EVERYTHING!! Clothes, photo albums, wedding rings, plates, silverware and EVERY personal belonging they have. They have been traveling in this RV since they sold their house roughly 6 years ago. They have been paying for an extended coverage policy the entire time for this exact reason. For a billion dollar company to deny someone the coverage they were guaranteed maybe on a technicality is atrocious. Make this right.Farmers Insurance

Received an email that my rate is going up 50% and that I can no longer make monthly payments. The entire 6k is due at renewal. Are you kidding me? $6,000 plus due on renewal????? Who can afford this? Why?Farmers Insurance

I want to make you aware of a terrible experience my mother in law is having with ******** Insurance. She has been a loyal customer since 1968. She decided to surrender her policy and asked for a check to be sent to her. This process has been going on since early March. She has called dozens of times, spoke with her agent, called corporate, and filed complaints. Even though she said she would no longer like to make payments on her account, because she has asked to surrender the account, her account balance has decreased without her authorization. She originally had the policy in ********* but now lives in ********. She's spoke with an agent in ******** since she could not get any help with her agent, ******* *********, but he is not able to access her account. She has faxed the necessary documentation that she had notarized. She has followed all of their directions and keeps being told her check will arrive 7-10 business days. She is told to that she should expect phones calls, stays near the phone all day, but never receives a call. We've been told there is a new CEO in ********** and things have been a mess with this new management. I will keep posting this message on every site I can think of until she receives her money that she has invested for over 50 years. I will also be sure to spread the word to everyone I know to not do business with thus company.Farmers Insurance

THE WORST EXPERIENCE OVER 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE JUST TO GET MY POLICY DOCUMENTS . THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE . THEY DO NOT LIKE TO PROVIDE YOU A REAL COPY OF YOUR POLICY AND THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THE ENDORSEMENT PAGES . THEY EMAILED ME A SAMPLE OF MY POLCIY WHICH IS NOT A POLICY AT ALL . I have tried to cancel my policy with Farmers New World Life Insurance Company for about a year. I had two policies and sent in the paperwork to cancel both, and only one policy was canceled. I have just received another letter stating that the premium payments were not received within the grace ******* Therefore, to continue providing insurance coverage, the policy's cash value has been used to pay the premiums. Farmers Insurance has sent me this same letter for the last year. I have called, emailed, and spoken with supervisors, and they all stated that they would terminate the policy as of the date I sent in the paperwork. That has not happened. The employees I have worked with from Farmers are unethical, untrustworthy, and unprofessional. There is no reason I should be dealing with this situation a year later. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. I am livid with the lack of integrity and extremely low moral standards of Farmers New World Life Insurance Company. I believe Farmers has purposefully failed to terminate my policy to take my money. This is ridiculous. The number of agents I have contacted and interacted with all demonstrated their inability to perform their job. Make this right, Farmers New World Life Insurance Company.Farmers Insurance

1 starTheyll fu** you I got hit by someone who ran a red light, they didnt cover any of my damages they found no one at fault, the person who hit me went to hospital and sued me and farmers without contacting me or anything they settled with the person suing and labeled the accident my fault without attempting to pull the camera footage etc. wouldnt trust them to insure a bicycle!! They do not care about you, they do not want you to feel taken care of they only want your money, take your business elsewhere, I know I am!!Review fromKentin S

I have had farmers for a little over 8 years. I have never had any problems. I pay on time every month because it comes out of my paycheck every pay period. I recently tried to get some information on filing a claim, then that turned into making a claim and finding out the policy was not the same for my other car when I updated my policy last year. It was never made aware to me that the policy was not updated for my other vehicle, just the one. Long story short they said we will have to go based off deductible before it was updated the same day even though the damage happened that day and the policy was updated that day BECAUSE THEY DID NOT MAKE IT KNOWN IT ONLY UPDATED ON THE ONE VEHICLE LAST YEAR NOT BOTH. WHO would only change the policy for one vehicle when both cars are listed as being drove daily. Everyone I talked to from claims to policies said something different and they dont care. One of the employees was so rude to the point she said I asked to speak to someone else and she said her supervisor would say the exact same thing as her. This is turned into a big mess and no one cares. I plan on dropping this insurance within the week and have been telling everyone I know to drop this insurance. So far lots of people have. BEWARE, if you rarely make a claim, pay on time since you started it this insurance. They DONT CARE AND GET AWAY WITH NOT COVERING THINGS UNDER TECHNICALITIES. This is literally a modern day scam, because where does all my money go to if you cant cover a claim.Farmers Insurance
