      Shopping for insurance? Please read following before buying A long time client of farmers insurance, to have issues with automated payments. Due to whatever issues existed electronically by farmers made me call in after I spent an hour with bank insuring no banking issues, contacting farmers to be on phone for hours pushed from person to another after going through horrible automated phone system. Seven farmer representatives to be treated badly, accusations and general poor customer service, all this and never received help. While on hold I got online to get insurance quotes to find out I was paying almost triple of the highest quote, so in short zero customer service and price gouging is ********************. All of this does come with witnesses, recordings and online quotes. Called new insurance company to receive live customer service instantly paying a third the price, people you deserve better.

      Warning, to all If you get this insurace it is very overpriced and if you cancel less than 30 prior to expiration and don't jump through every hoop they devise you will pay a huge fine.. Some racket they have going on to cheat poor older citizens. BUYER BE WARNED

      My premium doubled in 2 years! No accidents, no tickets! ***** was rude, and when i explained that i an a 100% disabled vet. On a fixed income, his response..WERE ALL ON A FIXED INCOME!

      I have been a member for years with farmers. They have increased their premiums each time they renew. In addition, they cancelled my insurance without notice due to non-payment. The payments were made, late but made. The agent ****** that I spoke with was no help and with a negative attitude throughout the call! As a loyal customer, I was expecting more from this **********************! Stay away!

      A review of the policy found the notice was sent on 4/13/25 notifying if the payment was not received by 5/2/25, it would cancel. Payment was not received.

      This was the worst insurance company that we have ever. Had they give us a quote for our vehicle and we turned it into the garage for service and they said that fine . Then they decided not to pay for it and we had to pay some out-of-pocket. The accident was an Air fault. A guy hit us in the back and he didnt have insurance then they decided to raise our insurance and every time we called them no one would answer the phone. We called like 20 times a Then they decided not to pay for it and we had to pay some out-of-pocket. The accident was a Air fault.       We were asked to pay for something we didnt owe and finally after lots of aggravating calls the matter was settled and we didnt owe them they owed us .Thank you for taking care of this it was very stressful

      Car stopped moving (still running). Called farmers insurance roadside. They sent us a criminal. He has a paragraph of crime. He is currently in jail. ******* ************/exceptional roadside in ****** ********. This person stole our car , damaged it., and was living in it for over a month. Farmers did nothing to help us to recover. Please ****** the people they send you( their job in my opinion). Farmers insurance doesn't vet the people they send you.

      Farmers insurance is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. I have been going in circles with them about the same issues since November. I have reached out to them NUMEROUS times. I can never speak to a leader same day and I am always told I will get a call back and NEVER do. My personal agent wasn't able to help resolve the issues I had and even encouraged me to switch to another insurance provider. This whole process has been a complete nightmare.

      I have had a horrible experience for several years since ******** bought out my homeowner's policy from another company. They have raised the premiums significantly every year (not unusual) but put zero money into customer service or training. For the last 3 years i have tried to pay my bill via the automated phone system. Each year that fails, I get transferred to a foreign call center. I ask to pay my credit card. Next they transfer me to a payment center with options to only pay via bank account. After two more rounds with two more ***** they fail to email a confirmation to me. Time to start searching for a new company.

      Recently I signed up with Bristol West/farmers for auto insurance. Within 24hrs of signing I received an email about an update to my policy. Turns out they raised it $120 without explanation. I spent 2hrs on the phone with agents and they couldnt find a reason or give me an answer as to why, nor could they revert to the original price. Total bait and switch, absolutely disgusting business practice. I switched to another provider who offered much better coverage at significantly lower costs. I will never recommend Bristol or Farmers to anyone ever again.

      I got with Farmers Insurance in March after leaving North Star. Not only did someone fat finger account info to where they have the account that it's supposed to have payment withdrawn from so it comes up as 'account doesn't exist' but they did NOT listen to me and put both vehicles on liability and no roadside assistance rather than full coverage WITH roadside assistance. I have to foot an almost $300 tow bill AND now they're saying they're canceling policy on May 8th because I'm overdue and owe $326? Yeah, go f*** yourselves you stupid b******* Steer clear of these asshats and drive these ******* out of business!
