I have no idea what and why this company is trying to collect money from me. I have never even heard of the creditor SAPIENTES II. I think that they might be trying to collect for some type of medical or healthcare billing. Even if I owed this debt, it cannot be legitimate for the following reasons: (1) I am retired with government-supplied ****************** Parts A&B. (2) I also have a ******** Supplemental **************** that pays for any/all authorized costs that Parts A&B does not cover. Please tell WAKEFIELD and ASSOCIATES, **** to remove this from my credit report at once. I don't owe them anything.Business Response

Dear Wakefield and Associates, I received a bill from you on 8-1-2022 and as allowed under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****), I am requesting that you allow me to validate the alleged debt. I am aware that there is a debt from St Vincents, but I am unaware of the amount due and your bill does not include a breakdown of any fees. Additionally, I am allowed under the **************** Portability and Accountability Act (*****) to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I do not recall giving permission to St.Vincents for them to release my medical information to a third party. I am aware that the ***** does allow for limited information about me but anything more is to only be revealed with the patients authorization. Therefore my request is twofoldvalidation of debt and ***** authorization. Please provide breakdown of fees including any collection costs and medical charges. Provide a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical information to you. Cease any credit bureau reporting until the debt has been validated by me. Please send this information to my address listed above and accept this complaint, as my formal debt validation request, which I am allowed under the ****** Please note that withholding the information you received from any medical provider in an attempt to be ***** compliant can be a violation of the ***** because you will be deceiving me after my written request. I request full documentation of what you received from the provider of service in connection with this alleged debt. Additionally, any reporting of this debt to the credit bureaus prior to allowing me to validate it may be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can allow me to seek damages from a collection agent. I will await your reply with above requested proof. Upon receiving it, I will correspond back by certified mail.Business Response

Wakefield and associates continues to report items on my credit report that are not my debts, nor have I ever heard of them. I have spoken to them and advised them of this and the customer service guy was rude and told me I owed the debt. I've requested and never received any documentation regarding the alleged debts. Seems they are more interested in extorting money than correcting fraudulent reporting. They claim I have numerous debts but will not provide me with the documentation showing I am responsible for such debt. I'm asking the items be removed from my credit report and them to provide me with the documentation on each of the alleged debts so I can take legal action and or resolve these issues.Business Response

This is an ongoing issue where this company has been harassing me and no matter how many time I requested a debt verification or dispute it they refuse to remove it and continue calling and texting me even that I asked them several times to stop doing so. I was informed over the phone that they would remove it. Now i call and i am told i need to send more disputes and they give no info on the debt just you can dispute it. This company did not sent a debt verification letter as FCPA requires but been calling harassing me even that I dont own anything to them.Business Response
