    I ordered from green chef in the past. I deactivate the account. A year or more later I received a box of food which I did not order. The representative said I reactivated my account when I opened something on the web. I did not reactivate my account and would like a refund for this food which I cannot eat. The representative just told me the charge didn't go thru for the box, so why would they mail me a box I didn't pay for? and then say I need to pay for it when or if I restart service? I didn't choose the meals, I did not order this box, yet I have a 52 dollar charge on my account that I was told will not go away and will always be due? I don't believe Green Chef should send out boxes without payment and then demand payment. This is wrong.

    Checking my bank account I noticed that I had charges from Green Chef 3/4/24 $231-56 3/5/4 $ $231.56 3/5/24 $233.57 3/8/24 $231.55 I have never ordered anything from this company I have called my bank

    We have communicated with the individual who filed this complaint via email. She has confirmed that her funds have been returned. We have attempted to verify the credit card associated with the fraudulent account created with her payment information in order to be sure all information is deleted from our files.

    I cancelled this subscription on Feb 28, 2024 then was charge $78.58 on Mar 4, 2024. Should not have been charged after the cancel date because it was in plenty of time of the next shipment.

    Green Chef has deceptive business practices and non-existent communication when there are financial changes on the subscribers account. In addition, the Get Invoice button does not work on the website, despite my attempts to access in different browsers Chrome and Edge. I signed up for a promotion that included a 65% reduced fee on the first order and a 15% discount for 51 weeks. I signed up for this promotion through a program called Tickets at Work offered through my employer. My subscription began on May 8, 2023. Green Chef removed the discount from my account without notice, starting with the August 14, 2023 order. Green Chef provides two methods of contact, which are phone and chat message. I contacted the business through chat on February 4, 2024 to describe my problem with billing. The agent said he would escalate the issue, and that the company would contact me in 24 to ****************************************** I called Green Chef on February 9, 2024, and the agent had no record of my interaction on February 4, 2024. In addition, he said that he could not refund for the overcharge or reinstate my discount. Consumers should be aware that Green Chef does not honor its promotion and does not communicate financial changes to the subscribers account. There is no escalation process at the company. They do not retain records of interactions or complaints from customers. The resolution I seek: I request that Green Chef refund $230.66 for the 19 weeks I was overcharged from August 14, 2023 through January 19, 2024. The promotion is still active on the Tickets at Work site, as of 2/19/2024: New Customers: Get 65% off your first box with free shipping + 15% off for 51 weeks. USE CODE: TICKET65.

    I ordered some food and it pictures the food as finished in a dish. They said this is $160. I picked out 20 meals for a week. They showed dishes of food. When I got the order it was a dozen ingredients not cooked. The ingredients were so small, like the onion was as big as a golf ball, you had to make your own croutons. They automatically renewed my billing each week. The first shipment was the introductory offer for $50 initially and the second shipment was $160. It wasn&#**;t worth $50 of raw materials. I called them up and they said they would cancel my order. I would like a refund on my second order and to cancel my order.

    On January 29, a charge from Green Chef was made to my Citicard. I received a notice from ********'s fraud department regarding the charge. This was a valuable notification, as I did not make the charge. Indeed, I did not know of this business before I saw the charge. I have never signed up on their site.I contacted the company by phone to explain the situation. The person with whom I spoke (who identified herself only as "May") indicated that they could see the charge and confirmed that I do not have an account, but they refused to take any action to reverse the charges. They said because I don't have an account, they cannot do anything! But they can mistakenly charge my card without an account, apparently.They told me to handle it through my bank. The problem with this is now I am cleaning up their mess! And there is a risk that I will have to have a new card issued due to this.I asked to be referred to the supervisor or someone else, but this was repeatedly refused by ***, who then hung up on me! Atrocious, aggressive customer service in response to an issue that was entirely on their side.

    I never ordered anything from green chef yet they charged my credit card because they had it when I used Apple to sign in. The proof is there is no order history on my account. I never ordered. Their instructions on how to cancel a membership are bogus. Its not as described and I cannot figure out how to cancel the bogus account.

    Used to be an old Customer logged on just to see if there were any discounts or any new things happening with green Chef. Then I got to log off three days later I get a charge on my account stating that I reactivated my with green chef. I did not OK the charge called up customer service. They told me as soon as I logged back onto my account. It activated my account. Theres nothing that they could do about canceling it. I believe this is predatory practice by chef corporation

    I placed an order for green chef for their discount on my next 5 boxes . The first box/week it was $34 I skipped the next week because the recipes were okay but not great. Then it automatically placed an order with no email reminder for $75 when my account was setup to have a discount. Within 1 hour of that order getting placed I cancelled the subscription and reached out to customer service the next day to try to cancel the order . **************** took about ************************** they cant cancel it when it shows it hasnt even shipped yet , customer service rep gave ***** excuse that the system gives an error message when trying to cancel but somehow is still able to offer to change the items in the box for me or ship to another address. This is poor business practice , way too expensive and bad customer service. Its obvious they are able to cancel the order but simply dont want to and make customers go to the extent of having to reach out to the BBB to get a refund.
