      No service. The business where I bought the store is close, and no other reference from Hunter Douglas is agreeing to do the repair, or even try.Life time warranty and customer service is a joke.

      I purchased 10 motorized shades in 2021. Only 4 shades have worked through the period (to 2023) and most have had more than one issue. One had to be entirely replaced. Two are currently non-functional. The controllers are flakey at best or completely dysfunctional at worst. I have command a shade down only to watch it go up and down a few inches repeatedly. Both the hand controller and the phone app do not work consistently. These shades use large numbers of batteries and the have no option for rechargeable power supplies (and this is the era of super high power density rechargeable batteries!). Replacing batteries is a dangerous game because often after replacing batteries the shade inexplicable stops all functioning. Beware the plastic bracket that holds the batteries up behind the shade. Since it is plastic and windows obviously subject them to sunlight they become brittle fast. When these little wimpy plastic parts break you have to live with an attractive battery pack hanging down in your window.

      I purchased a house full of HD shades. 3 are automated and 2 of those do not work. Since I didnt purchase them, I dont know who installed them. No one will repair them unless they installed them. I have called Hunter Douglas multiple times, and I cant talk to an actual person. I have sent multiple emails asking for who can repair them, and no one has replied. I am very disappointed in their customer service. They do not stand behind their products. I have purchased their products in previous homes, but I will never again..

      Hunter Douglas does not honor their lifetime warranty at all. They refuse your claim so fast.We installed 21 silhouettes throughout our new house and 4 of them started discoloration on the bottom holder plates and the bottom holder plates went brown or black after a few years. Their warranty department staff will blame it on you and say you spilled water or soda or something on the shades and not cover it under warranty. We know for fact that we did not spill anything on the shades. It is just me and my wife living in our house and we are 63 years old and we are sure it was defective material from Hunter Douglas. They use cheap material and do not have a friendly or reasonable warranty department. Will not buy Hunter Douglas shades anymore.

      Thank you for sending the additional photos. I was able to locate your case with our Consumer Support team. I had the technical support engineer for the Silhouette brand review the pictures again. We both agree that this is not a fabric defect. This is environmental causes which isn't covered by the **************** warranty. I included the warranty link which states "not covered"

      Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.

      Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product.

      Exposure to the elements (sun damage, wind, water/ moisture) and discoloration or fading over time.

      Failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance.

      Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation

      I purchased Hunter Douglas blinds for my condo 5 years ago. I spent over $5000.00 thinking I was dealing with a quality minded company. Little did I know how wrong I was. My master bedroom ****** blind has been a nightmare! The first year after my purchase I had problems with the material coming apart. I was sent a replacement blind thinking my issues were over. Little did I know this replacement blind is the blind from H*** Im on the 3rd time sending the same replacement blind back because the strings broke. This blind has been sent back every year. I just received the repaired blind back and the blind is very hard to push up or pull down. The strings will not last since the last repaired strings were just as difficult to pull up or down. First I was told the warranty is up in 5 years which is almost up. Then I was told 7 years. I just want a company to stand behind defective products and completely replace my blind. Its clearly a LEMON!!! By the way, I was also told Hunter Douglas discontinued ********** blind. A company just doesnt discontinue a good product unless they have problems with it. I have lost all faith in Hunter Douglas and their products. So if I can help anyone else whos looking for blinds for their home. STAY AWAY FROM HUNTER DOUGLAS!!! You would get a better product with a better guarantee for a better price from Target !!!!

      We're sorry to hear that you've had challenges with ********** product. We recommend contacting your dealer directly to see what options are available. Warranty inspection and/or repair would be the best option. It sounds like the full tension mechanism needs to be replaced.       ********** product was discontinued in May of 2023, due to challenges with getting materials from our suppliers and fabrication delays. The operating system you have is still available.

      Once again, like the following customers....very dissatified with the quality of the product. We spent thousands of dollars and poor quality of materials (plastic). Some of the blinds will not stay down....they keep moving up. We have BIG windows and it takes time to raise the blinds to get an even amount of fabric on both sides of the window. Very disappointing. I would not recommend them to anyone!!!!

      I have been a drapery and blind installer in South ******* for over 30 years! Hunter Douglas is probably one of the lowest class quality blinds that you can purchase! Most of their components are plastic! I have had clients call me to their house a year later and tell me that the blind fell out of the brackets and conked them on the head! They are the most unbelievably expensive company you will ever have The misfortune of dealing with! If you are a premier showroom or a hunter douglas showroom of any type you have to purchase thousands and thousands of dollars in samples every year just to maintain that! You also are not permitted to sell any other type of blind if you sell Hunter douglas! You should stay far far away! They build in planned obsolescence!

      ID LEAVE ZERO STARS. Ordered thousands of dollars worth of motorized shades. Everyone of them has broken as have the replacements, some within a week of install. Rude and arrogant company rep damaged my windows. Their explanation as to why the shades were breaking doesnt hold water when I spoke with an engineer. They dont stand by their warranty or their product. Will never buy from this company again nor should you. Dont even let them into your house!

      Unfortunately, I had an awful experience ordering roller shades. The order was placed back in October 2022. It has been over 6 months since the beginning of the process until I said enough, no more remakes. All About Blinds did a good job helping me choose the style, the color, the material and gave me a fair price. However, I did not like Hunter Douglass product and service. The main issue was brand new shades had fraying edges. The shades were remade several times. After 4 installation appointments, I got 4 good shades. Then they ran out of material, so after waiting for 2 months, today, I had 5th installation for my last shade. The newly remade shade was even more defective than its prior versions. Quality control is non-existent. I did not want any more remakes, so I just decided to keep the previous version of the shade which I can fix with some anti-fray glue. The installers for Hunter Douglas were not great either. My biggest issue was that they made extra holes in the ceiling, though wall installation was specified on the invoice. They fixed the holes, but the area still needed to be repainted. I am beyond dissatisfied with Hunter Douglas' product and service. And it is a bummer because I really like the look of these blinds. I was considering installing them in a couple of other rooms, but I am glad I didnt.

      Terrible customer service - no empathy at all. I have been waiting for a motor for a blind for over 2 months. In the meantime I can not open my blinds at all which means I can not open my windows. I spent over $10,000 on 3 sets of blinds and all they say is the motor is on back order. No help at all- no resolution. I should have went to ********** for my blinds and spent 1/2 the money. The worse company. Do not buy any of Hunter Douglas products. They dont stand behind your product.
