1 starI was flying home from ***** on Frontier. Our flight ended up being delayed 6 times with 3 departure bay changes. By the time I got home it was almost 12 hours past my expected arrival time. I had to hire an uber as the hotel shuttle wasn't running at that time of the night. One of the passengers was arrested at baggage claim because the Frontier employees hadn't released our luggage, it had been an hour. The gentleman literally climbed in the back and started throwing our luggage out, as according to him, the employees were in the back doing nothing. Of course tensions were already high after the miserable experience in *****. But I get contacted by Frontier with a $75 future flight credit. It did make things somewhat better. Then came time to use the voucher. It's been 9 months so I was ready to attempt another flight to ***** thru Frontier, but to my surprise, the voucher is expired!! Apparently Frontier gives you 3 months to use the vouchers. No one who just spent 12 hours in a airport, all because Frontier hadn't planned better and the staff had to rest for 12 mandated hours, wants to jump right back in the air. So basically Frontier gave this voucher knowing that probably 90 percent would never be used. Shame on you Frontier!!! Your baggage rates are ridiculous, thats right you have to pay from 30 to 70 dollars for a carry on, each way, depending when you book, but your customer service is awful !! You could care less about the patrons who use your company. Thank goodness there are multiple carriers that fly to *****. Do right by those who patronize you and maybe you'll have repeat customers. Continue s******* over your customers and you'll be bought out or bankrupt in no time. I think companies forget who pays their bills.Review fromDave G

1 starIf you are not raised and born in *******, you should avoid flying FRONTIER airlines!!!! Yesterday I took Frontier airlines from ********* to ********. During the wait to board, Frontier gate staff announced for passengers who want to sit on emergency exit row. I want that seat so I walked to the counter. Here below was my conversation. (Note: English is my second language)Me: Im here for emergency exit seat Frontier: Sorry, you cant sit there Me Why???Frontier: Because you are not speaking English.Me: I am SPEAKING ************** am talking to you right now in English. Why you said I cant speak English?Frontier: But you still have an accent.Me: So.you will not allow any passengers who have an ACCENT to sit there?Frontier: Yes, it is our policy Me: This is so ridiculous policy. I sat on emergency exit row many times with other airlines and never have a problem with it.I made me felt very discriminated by Frontier airlines and the gate agent. How she can judge me by only ONE sentence I talked to her?!? Yes I accepted that English is my second language but I graduated with 2 associates degree and 1 bachelor degree with the highest honors. Also, now Im working in medical field and none of my patients ever complained that they cant understand me because of my accent. I read, write, listen, and speak English all day long. Most of the time English that I speak isnt daily conversation but medical terms too.I sorry that I am not good enough to sit there because I was not born and raised in *******.If English is your second language too, I suggested you should avoid FRONTIER airlines. Because they will not treat us the same with other passengers!!!(I wonder that Frontier will allow passengers from ******* sit on emergency row or not since they will have a British accent too)Review fromJanita B

1 starIn Atlanta, I was bullied into handing my card to the people at the gate. The rude attendant threatened to not let me (and other passengers) on the flight if I did not pay for my personal item which FIT IN THE **** I only had 1 bag. I was charged twice for my personal item when I should NOT HAVE been charged at all. I was spoken to like a dog along with other passengers. I requested a manager and he said the Frontier agent stated that he is a manager. I then requested to speak with his superior and he blatantly ignored me. When I tried to take a picture of his badge so I could reach out to Frontier he yelled out that I shouldn't be let on the Flight because I was taking pictures. He was a black male with clear glasses. He was yelling at people and embarrassing people left and right. It was inhumane, one man had to yell out that he only had $30 to his name and was trying to get home, he too only had one bag. This guy had to take out clothes from his bag and put them on and enter the plane with layers of clothes on. It was so embarrassing. I have never been talked to so rudely and aggressively in my life. This led to me having a panic attack on the plane because I have anxiety and this triggered an anxiety attack and put a dark cloud over my trip. I will never fly frontier again nor recommend them to anyone. This ghetto trash way of customer service should be reviewed and it seems like Frontier does not care. I, a 34 year old grown woman, was crying while entering the aircraft as I had been so badly harassed while trying to board the plane. Mind you, my personal item was already sized when I checked in at the Frontier counter in the front, and they cleared me to continue up. I told this to the Frontier Airlines worker and he stated (yelled) that what they do upstairs and downstairs are totally different. HOW? When its the same company and the same sized bin to measure the bags. It should be illegal to treat people this way.Review fromTiffany D

1 starI am filing a complaint in several areas for the mistreatment and discriminatory selection on behalf of a gate employee. The pilot was also 45 minutes late. My greatest area of concern is that your policy requires all bags to be checked and this young man deliberately hand picked some to place their belongings while others who did not have a prepaid bag yet were arbitrarily permitted to board the plane. He harassed an elderly couple to the point where they were in tears. I just lost my mother and father, told this man why I was traveling, and that I was using the same personal item I always use with Frontier and never had an issue with sliding it under my seat nor measurements. He even would permit some to force their bags while I pulled out my medicine to show that I have to travel with this, and its in my bag as he stated it had to be, but some were able to pass with unpacked shoes, pillows, blankets, coats, other smaller bags that did not fit; some had the same sized personal item as those who had been made into examples for your policy. Most were minorities. We were told to line against the wall where we were addressed at the last minute, threatened that if we insist on his name we would not be boarding the plane- he went so far as to flip his badge over when those he bullied angrily commented on the discrimination and the way we were left no option to seek help in regard to this person. Why hide your badge when a problem arises! There were at least ten who he randomly selected- among them a mother who had a baby bag as a personal item and he said she had to pay because it contained her items as well!? Random. Others were mortified and a young couple paid for her flight. I fly with the same sized book bag to ******** & never have I had this issue nor was I ever charged. I wasnt charged upon my return from ****** to ******* either. The flamboyant gatekeeper from my 6:45 flight on 2/12 departing from *******- he who hides his name when guests need to complainReview fromWendyB

1 starThey canceled a flight on December 23, 2022, said that they would refund my checked bag fee, and then never did. When I disputed it with the Frontier Airlines credit card from *******, they came back two months later, and said they were unable to validate my claim and re-charged me the $69.99. They are charging me for a checked bag on a flight that never took off.Review fromDavid N

1 starMy personal item bag was to size for spirit and delta. Have used it numerous times with both and used it with spirit on my flight in. Frontier charged me $99 for it even though carry on was only suppose to be $59.99 and Thats ignoring that it shouldnt have been a carry on. We fly at least 4-5 times a year and will never use frontier again ever.Review fromEvonne D

1 starI just spent the day trying to use my Frontier points for a flight reservation. Literally HOURS and HOURS of wasted time. How can their online system say I can book this if I have more miles or pay with dollars? I have enough points! But then I am told the flight was oversold for points or dollars payments all along. This is probably the WORST customer service experience I have EVER had. I am beyond shocked that Frontier can be this messed up and still be in business.Review fromMarina V

1 starI was at the gate 45 minutes prior to boarding. I was zone 4 to board. They said my personal item was too big and wanted to charge me $99.00. I showed them it met the requirements for a free personal item and she said too late and they gave my seat away. No refund was given. Worst airline ever!!Review fromDennis P

1 starFrontier scam me for 511 dollars. Do not use them for travel. They have no contact to call and finally got contact and agent did not show receipt or any invoice to give me. The total i lost for booking was ****** dollars and got nothing in return for booking a flight because of their scam. They are pros to get your money out of your bank first with no invoice or receipt. I went to my bank and they cannot tell me where the money went yet. Scam, scam, scamReview fromBrenda C

1 starThe seats are terrible. I spent $5,000 for my family to fly for a funeral . No leg space . **** at counter had a terrible attitude. If it wasnt for a funeral I would get off the plane. The flight attendant uniforms look old and worn. The pilot uniform was too large for him. Im concerned about flying and dont want to take the plane back home. I dont feel safe at all .
