      0 out 5 stars for sure DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE!! The worst of the worst business practice! My son booked his first flight with this airline. He went online to just check how much the fees would cost if they would have to cancel their flight. The system glitches out and ended up cancelling out their flight for next month. We both trying their chat customer service as they do not have a live person to talk to. Who doesnt have an actual live customer service department? They informed me they couldnt do anything to help. Charging him almost $400 in FEES, only to credit him $117 in airline bucks for their airline only to be used in 90 days for a glitch in their system. They are basically robbing people and claiming they have one policy that covers all of it. NO REFUNDS FOR ANYTHING. He just wanted them put back on their flight. I spent over an hour on a chat after midnight trying to resolve this issue only to be told they wouldnt do anything to help fix it, and were sorry about his bad luck.

      On Thanksgiving Eve 2022, my husband and I had a flight booked from ** to *****. We arrived at the airport to be told the flight has been canceled days before. We received no notifications, but in addition the Frontier app and website still showed the flight as active and prompted us to check in (within the app and an auto generated email). We were not the only passengers shocked to hear of the cancelation as others were scrambling to book flights. Then, on December 30, 2022 we were booked at 6:30am from ***** to NY. The flight was delayed until 7:55am due to the arriving flights delay. However, once the plane was here the tire needed replacing. After pushing the departure numerous times, at 9:15am I sought answers. After much pushing, when I was told numerous times to be patient and take a seat the manager begrudgingly revealed the tire the plane needed was not on premises, as in no where at ***************************. They were trying to get a tire. While the manager, *****, would not confirm this, it takes 45 minutes to an hour to change a plane tire, not including the wait for the tire then the paperwork after. Frontier continued to push the flight, saying hopefully itll only be an hour or two more. We were just trying to get home after a holiday, but the real people Frontiers selfishness effect is someone like the woman crying in the airport, trying to get to NY to say a final goodbye to her dad, who was in Hospice. The airlines actions have grave consequences and the company simply doesnt care. Beware.

      I received a $1,000 voucher that could be used for future travel. I spent $695.92 of that voucher on round-trip tickets for my wife and me. Hurricane *** hit prior to the flight. I was given a credit for $695.92 of the original $1000 voucher. I went to use this voucher to book tickets for my family and it only allowed $81 to be used covering only my flight costs excluding fees and taxes. This is not acceptable. I tried two different live chats with Representatives. Both times, the representative simply stopped responding to my questions and requests. Both Representatives refused to give a phone number for a conversation. Absolutely terrible customer service.

      I am filing a complaint because there are several issues with their respective business practices I completely understand this is a discounted airline but, being new to Frontier I would hope and thought that they would provide more information that what I experienced thru their only communication portal which is the Chat portal thru their website With that said, I highly advise to download their app which was the easiest way to deal with the poor customer service. At anyrate here are the issues I dealt with trying to get simple answers answered! #1 No customer service phone number only online Chat representatives #2 They attempted to charge me a higher fee for bags than what is posted online I asked for specific breakdown and they would just say taxes and fees. #3 I asked to speak with a manager and she never responded #4 I asked if it would cost more money at the airport to check bags and she would not give me any information #5 I've asked about seat assignments and fees to pick your own seats... Never was given an answer #6 At the end of the day as I see pretty much everyday someone is making a formal BBB complaint regarding Frontier airlines this will go on death ears but, felt the need to express my experience and for buyers to be aware that not only this is a discount airline but the customer service is also not very helpful

      I had a flight attendant take a seat we paid for and give it to another passenger. She said she had to "fill up the plane". She was supposed to put a note in the system to refund the full amount of that seat, which did not happen. I contacted customer service like they told me to for the refund and customer service told me they did not have a note in the system and would not refund the money. Very disappointed. This is the first time we have flown with Frontier and the last!

      Fully incompetent chat service, trying to accomplish the simplest task of resetting my password getting this error after following all directions completely, "ERROR We are unable to change the password. Please contact the airline." customer service **** ******* tried to help but when the error was still appearing she asked me for my ideal password I said No, because I'm not giving some stranger my password, and asked for a secure password reset link, after that didn't work again she reset my password for me to Frontier2023! (wonder how many people have that password) and when it let me log in I tried to change my password for security and got the same error as above. Asked to speak to a supervisor and she just refused to reply to my chat forcing me to open another so someone else would have to speak with me. So disrespectful. Do not use frontier since it's obvious they can't even communicate over the phone so they force you to use their "Chat' which they ignore so how can we trust them to operate or review plans properly for flight without ignoring any issues that *** arise?

      Booked a flight and did not see any information on cancellation policy. When I canceled the flight within 2 hours after booking, almost 70% of the money was charged for cancellation fee and the remaining money was given as credit for future flights within the next 3 months. This is cheating customers out of their hard earned money. When I tried to contact the customer service, they do not have a live customer service anymore. This is the first time ever I booked a flight on Frontier and I will never book a flight again on this airline.

      If i cooul I'd give 0 stars. At the beginning of a flight a member of the flight a member of the flight crew announced the the restroom at the front of the plane was out of order not to use it. Then i noticed a crew member use it. So i started watching . Through out the flight several members of the flight crew used the restroom that was supposedly out of order. Including the one who announced the closure. There was a disabled passenger who you could see had a difficult time walking on the front row. She had wheel chair assist to her seat. Had to go all the way to the back of the plane to use the restroom. While the crew still used the one in the front of the plane. I tried to contact frontier directly but couldn't talk to a live agent .

      The worst airline in the world. First off I had to pay 50$ to check In Because they closed the check in online an hour early. Then the bag attendant who checked in the bag was belligerent drunk and kept asking us the same questions over and over. We were there for 40 minutes while he tried to understand what we were saying. Then on the flight back they had a box thing that checks the size of your personal item bag and my sister was wrongly accused of taking excessive personal bags even though they had a baby. She had 1 personal bag per person. She ended up paying 100 dollars extra for bags that were personal items. The woman who was at the front checking of bags fit was so rude, this company hires the lowest of the lowest people. I would save my money and fly with a better airline.

      Their baggage policies are inconsistent and random. At gate checkin, staff was harassing their passengers and asking what was "stuffed in their coats and jackets." It was horrendous and embarrassing for the passengers. Everyone was made to put their personal items in the bag measuring box. Staff said if the bag could not effortlessly go to the bottom (without any additional pushing or manipulation such as a strap hanging out) than there would be a gate check charge of $100 / bag. No where on their website, emails or bag measuring box does it say that a bag must fit effortlessly without any assistance what so ever. It only says that bags must measure within certain limits, that is all. The policy was inconsistently applied as some passengers were allowed to remove an item and refit their bag, while some where already told they must pay no matter what, even if their bag fit a second time.After being made to pay $100 for my bag, I still was told to place it between my legs as it was a backpack and there was no room in the overhead bins...So they made me pay for carry on, but treated it as a personal item. It was unbelievable.There is no support from staff, just harassment. They threatened everyone with a baggage "problem" to either pay or miss the flight. Insinuating that we were the problem that the plane would be late and we were making the experience horrible for everyone. Horrible company, horrible values, and misleading website.
