1 starClearly i give one start cause you cant give 0, they steal $311.00 from me, i booked a flight and after 2 weeks i did they changed my arrival to 3 days after the original date, so i did cancel the flight since they claim is a 99 dollar fee for cancel a booking reality is they wont return any of your money instead they give you credit to their company, clearly if you canceling a flight is cause you don't like the service, after this experience will never book a flight with a cheap airline like Frontier and i will encourage anyone i know to not do it.Review fromSirisha K.

1 starI recently flew with Frontier Airlines and this was my first time.So when I was checking in to my flight online, the ************ I had was to select that - I have a cabin bag (standard)- I have a cabin bag (upgrade)- I dont have a cabin bag.In the website, I was not given an option to choose I have a personal item, so I ended up choosing "Bundle Perks" option which includes 1 cabin+1 checkin+seat selection for which they charged me 158$.I ended up paying for the laptop bag (which is a personal item and free).When I called the customer service, the line never connects. I tried for multiple days and then 1 day when I got connected after waiting for 2 hours on phone, the agent says she cant refund. Made me wait again for 1 hour to talk to supervisor and another 1 hour for customer relations and none of them could bring any resolution.The frontier airlines staff also was not courteous at the airport and never bothered to help tag the bags.Overall, I had a terrible first experience with Frontier and never will I go back to that airlines.Also would never recommend Frontier to any of my friends.Review fromMatthew H

1 starDelayed for 3 hours+ because the airline just realized once we boarded that one of the brakes was leaking. The stewardesses and captain kept telling us we will depart in just a few minutes to no avail. We deplaned and then boarded again. I overheard one of the stewardesses says to the other one to not give a passenger an exact time. No other airline has this many mechanical issues and delays. The crew expressed little hustle to get this plane off the ground or provide us with accurate info. I felt incredibly unsafe being on a plane with mechanical issues and disgusted that Frontier could not timely switch us to a operational plane or at least adequately inspect the plane prior to boarding so myself and other passengers couldve made alternative arrangements. 1 starGate agent was rude and dismissive when I explained that my grandson was autistic. He yelled" he is not the only one". This outburst was prompted when I explained to him that I was carrying my grandson 's backpack in addition to mine and should not be asked to pay $99 for an additional bag. 1 starIt was my first time flying on Frontier, and I should have read the reviews first. Numerous disgruntled flyers have similar complaints, as nearly 50 of us were bumped from a flight we paid for after checking our bags and having us all line up to board, What's worse, for more than an hour, we were given no explanation but that the plane was smaller than the one originally booked. Workers were worthless to assist us in finding other flights, and all were told we would have to wait until the next day, with no offer of assistance for lodging or securing other flights. Numerous passengers reaped added charges for bags and even for the "printing" of a bag tag after kiosks that enable self-printing of tags were all out of order, Depending on which attendant you got, you paid or didn't pay for printing and got kicked out of the line for complaining about the $25 fee for an error on Frontier's part.I arrived 3 hours before a flight that was to leave at 9:30 this morning. It is now nearly 6:00 p.m. and since that time, I was treated horribly by everyone that works for Frontier that sent my bags to ********* but failed to board me. *I've have NO correspondence about refunding my ticket price, and the money I paid for my bag and my seat for nothing. I had to leave the concourse and return to the terminal, going airline to airline, begging for an affordable flight home. Others on my flight had to stay overnight---with nothing offered from Frontier --bo refund or accommodations. After going through five other airlines, I settled on Delta where on the same-day flight I had to pay twice what I had originally paid to Frontier a month in advance of the flight. FRONTIER IS NOT ONLY THE WORST, but they really don't care about the people they harm repeatedly and in ways that impact even more others. How are they allowed to operate?Review fromScott B

1 starTL;DR - Frontier's policy is that they can cancel any flight for any reason and only offer a refund or rebooking on a Frontier flight. Frontier cancelled my connecting flight, left me stranded mid-travel, and refused to reimburse additional travel expenses to book another flight with another airline to arrive at my destination on time. Don't fly with Frontier if you need to arrive in a timely manner.Original version - I booked a flight from Houston to ****** with a connection in ************. After arriving in ************, the flight from ************ to Houston was canceled. The Frontier gate agent offered me only two options: refund the connecting flight or rebook on a Frontier flight the next day. Since I was traveling for business and needed to be in ****** on the same day, I took the refund and booked a flight with American Airlines that flew out same day (which was more expensive than the refund). I tried to work with Frontier to get a reimbursement for the difference between the flight I booked and the refund provided ($225). They refused, citing their policy, despite numerous attempts and escalation to their executive response team. Frontier leadership does not care about your flying experience or the possibility that you will be stranded or delayed. If you can afford to do so, don't let Frontier's low prices entice you. Fly with a better airline led by folks that will use common sense to evaluate incidents like this instead of hiding behind general policies.Review fromAndres H.

1 starFrontier Airlines does not answer phone calls, tried calling them several times when my wife was taken to a hospital in the ****************** as she had a hard fall, carried by ambulance at 3:30 a.m. prior to our flight back to ***** which we could not make as we remained there until 4 p.m., texted them and no-one bothers to reach out to me, got back to ***** an ******** Airlines right away because she has MS, and in the country, there are no doctors that know about MS, my complaint is that I emailed Frontier all the papers we received from the hospital, and they still will not even reimburse any amount of the return portion, just a response done by ***** (who is a computer), no human calls me, shame on this airline, wanted to make sure everyone in the world knows who Frontier is, that's why I am publishing in every site I am able.Review fromCharles O

1 starArrived at *** airport at 5AM when my flight was at 7:35AM. Agents kept us on a long line and kept allowing others who showed up long after us to cut in front of us. When we questioned this, we were told to go back to the line. Due to this and after standing in frontier line for 2 hrs to drop off our bags, we were told we cant get on the flight. We were requested to go stand in another line to get rebooked. After another 40mins wait, the agent was rude stating nothings he can do and no flights till the next day. I asked about surrounding cities, she said no flights available the. Booked us for the next day. Then stated in other to allow us to go same day, we would need to rebook at our expense. Asked to speak to the manager and manager in front of us said no while laughing and dancing with the other customer service. Called customer service on phone and after waiting for an hour, an agent answered only to hang up on me after I explained my issue. Really terrible service. Horrible airline.Review fromLaith K

1 starAt boarding there was a lady and her name was **************** Diego ******* 10-20-2022 flight F9 **** around 02:30 pm. She made me pay $100 for my backpack claiming it was too big since it didn't fit the measuring bin. I've been traveling once every week to ********* carrying the same backpack since last March with frontier and spirit airlines. No one opposed that backpack size or made me pay $100. How can someone pay $100 for a backpack for a one hour trip. This is unacceptable. One of the staff told me the rule has been always there but now they started to enforce it. What's the whole point of purchase a cheap ticket (that is no longer check due to inflation) if you end up paying for your backpack. I'd rather purchase a United or Delta airlines since they don't make you pay for a backpack and there service is way better as a whole.Review fromBarb F

1 starWe will never fly frontier again. They managed to tell us when to leave for our flight but not that it was cancelled. We took uber to airport and after paying everyone concerned were told flight was cancelled. No reasonable alternative was given. Said that at our expense we could come back the next day and fly with a connecting flight when the original was non stop. Also affected not only our trip at destination but friends as well. We will never again fly frontier. Would not even give one star if possible!!
