Richmond American robbed us of $11,800. Yes, they stole our escrow money. The sales associate at the White **** Foothills in *******, **, lied to us. We were excited to buy a quick move in home in the community until we found out that the house across the street was running an automotive repair business. The sales associate did not disclose to us that the business was being ran, even when asked about it. Multiple cars were being parked along street and oil spills were not being dealt with by the builder. The garage was also building street racing cars that sped up and down the neighborhood, according to other neighbors in the area. The builder failed miserably to uphold the *** rules until the community *** was turned over to the association. When my wife and I decided to cancel our contract with Richmond American only after 14 days due falsifying facts, Richmond American failed to return our ******* money of $11,800. The Director of Sales was unapologetic and offered nothing and was unapologetic. I will never purchase a home from Richmond American and I recommend the same to anyone else. WE FEEL THEY LIED TO US AND STOLED OUR MONEY!!!!

This company is chater , please don't buy houses from this builder. Their business model is to extract money from design studios and provide cheap products for high cost. I've upgraded my flooring paying lot's of money and flooring had issues with first few months and when we filed complaint they said it's due moisture issues / cleaning product which was very funny that it's broken before the cleaning.

You will likely have many warranty issues that won't be addressed or reimbursed. Richmond utilizes cheap, unprofessional labor, ensuring mistakes are made on the building of your home. They know folks are desperate to have a place to live and all they have to do is ignore you for a year until your warranties expire. They pretend to really care about this stuff, and assure you that if you're unhappy there will be avenues to fix these issues. There aren't. They completely insulate themselves from complaints and criticism, and you genuinely won't get anything done with your home unless you threaten them with poor publicity and legal action.

Horrible build. We put in our contract we wanted a pre dry wall inspection. They didn't notify ** and missed kt. We let it go. Then we get to walk thru, walls aren't even painted, holes in the wall they tried to just cover up, breakers kept tripping, baseboards not caulked and then we get yelled at for using a flash light because they can't fix every imperfection. Ummm we are spending over 500k I want close to perfect. But here's the kicker. They fixed the breaker issue but after closing started again. Lights flicker constantly breakers trip and they tell us this is normal. UMMMM THERE IS A SHORT AND IF MY HOUSE CATCHES FIRE ITS ON YOU... I AM CONSIDERING HIRING A LAWYER ** THIS IS DANGEROUS. Don't buy from them. Save your headaches. ********* **

I first bought my house in October 2022. Till this day, Im still pending outstanding items to be corrected - a year later. While I can understand there can be certain unforeseeable circumstances, what I dont understand is lack of professionalism, communication and overall customer service. When choosing ******************** to have a home built, I had a certain set of expectations which have not been met in the least. My experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Im extremely dissatisfied and completely frustrated at this point with the **** care specialist and the supervisor assigned/team to the ****************** The response time has consistently been 2 to 3 weeks, if at all. Theres always a number of excuses which in my opinion DO NOT excuse the lack of quality customer service. When I have brought this to her directly on several occasions, I have been met with defensiveness and borderline rudeness. The **** care team has been nothing short of pathetic. I will never build a home with Richmond again.

Location ********************* ** *****. They schedule walk throughs before house is even done and get get mad when you start pointing out stuff thats not done. We had a flashlight and the person we did our walk through with said that we could not use a flashlight cause it would show all the imperfections and that they would never finish. Well if were spending all this money for a house it should be complete and done right. Ceilings had splotchs of different color paint were they did touch **** baseboards were not caulked, screws showing, no paint on some walls. So many things not complete to list everything. A complete joke of a builder. So if you have them build for you make sure you have a lawyer look at contract before you sign anything.

If I could score less than one star I would. The two superintendents were horrible. **** never answered or returned calls. ****** over promised and under delivered on top of lying that the hvac leaks pointed out during inspection were handled. Up until October Im finding there were 8 leaks through mid summer my bill 600 and I can only image the pressure the system was under to produce cool air. I still have holes in my bathroom from the initial inspection. I have walls with mixed brush and roller finishes along with flat, semi, full gloss on the same walls. This is a small sample of all the issues. I really ********************* and **** were let go. Its sad that I cant get anyone to call me back from the superintendents department . Lot 70 Falcon Ridge - approx 7 spec homes left do not purchase here!

Buyer beware - working with the dishonest and callous representatives of Richmond American has been the worst experience of my family's life. We were under contract for a home that our sales associate assured us would not complete until sometime next year. As we went through this process, we experienced major family issues, including the death of parent and Richmond absolutely refused any consideration to us. We tried to back out and get our money back, as our sales associate had told us would be possible because, and I quote, "Richmond isn't out to steal your money." Turns out they don't care at all about family members, only those of us on the contract. I didn't know compassion and basic business ethics had that little footnote. We then attempted to transfer our considerable sum of ******* money to a different community, and again, were denied for no good reason despite the company allowing this for other people. Amidst all of this, we also find out our home is likely to be ready about five months earlier than promised. Again, no consideration from them as to the major stress we were experiencing. So now being left with no workable solutions and them only pointing out the exact verbiage of the contract, not the spirit of what the sales associate promised us, we are left with nothing. We were unable to close five months early on a major purchase, and are absolutely disgusted by how we were treated by this company. They have no ethics, compassion or concern for customers after the contract is signed. Stay far far away from this builder.

I would say very very worst builder in the world. They try to build house with very very poor quality and will give 1 year as limited warranty. But for all the complaints they will say it is not under warranty. I have many water leaking issues in almost all **************** they will say it is not under warranty for any issue reported.I would recommend not to buy a home from this company.

Absolutely unbelievable. This place is a joke. After your purchase, good luck getting any repairs done. ****? Whoever you are, you are the biggest clown out there. All you ever say is, I'll get around to it. Then I have to hear about how you almost died and how "I" don't care. This is business ****. I'm not your friend. Do you care "I" almost died. Your a joke as a representative of Richmond homes!
