Horrible builder. They focus on quantity and not quality. My brand new build has many issues including water leaks from the ceiling and in the walls, caused by two different issues. Workers dont show up to fix items requested or if they do show they rarely know what they are doing.

When we first moved in we had issues with our driveway cracking and lifting. I explained that we were having issues. The corner piece that broke off was fixed but they don't want to fix the driveway that was lifting. I explained to them that I've had issues and they said there isn't anything they can do. Every house on my street is having this issue and they are dismissing my complaint. I also have a sinking yard and was supposed to get it fixed since LAST YEAR! It's the end of summer and I have yet to get this fixed. I'm not sure if it's ever going to be taken care of. Trying to speak to anyone about this has been dead ends.

As a customer, I had high expectations of ********************** based on their reputation and promises. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. The process was fraught with communication issues. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, responses from the company were often delayed or non-existent. This lack of communication caused significant frustration. The quality of workmanship and materials was a major area of concern. Despite assurances of using high-quality materials and skilled labor, the reality was starkly different. I encountered numerous instances of subpar workmanship, including:- Crooked walls throughout - Poor fitting/crooked doors and windows - Damage to quartz countertops - Crooked installation of upgraded hand-rail elements - Tiles installed with chips - Damage to upgraded flooring - Improperly installed baseboards - Improperly installed kitchen cabinets - Flooring edges without appropriate transition element - Sloppy painting overall - Features not designed according to the look-book - Damage to garage door hardware - Noticeable gaps between all types of transitions These issues reflect a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for quality assurance. Moreover, there were many design faults that further exacerbated the situation. These design faults not only compromised the aesthetic appeal of the home but also raised concerns about its long-term durability and functionality. What is even more disheartening is the evasive tactics employed by the warranty department and construction teams within the same company. They have been using tactics such as finger-pointing, relying on a severely limited warranty, and disingenuous tactics during the final walk-through and closing to delay, deny, and avoid completion of obvious deficiencies. My experience with Richmond American Homes has been disappointing and stressful. Potential customers should be aware of these issues before deciding to engage with this company.

If I could go back in time and buy from a different builder, I would!!!! We have SEVERAL open work orders that have not been completed for almost a year now. Their communication is absolutely HORRIBLE! People are fired left and right with no continuity. The new people have no idea about pervious work orders. We have personally dealt with three different managers and still nothing has been done with our issues. Ive sent multiple emails, phone calls, even text messages and yet almost a year later we are still dealing with the same problems. Please do not waste your hard earned money on these homes. They are built entirely to fast. We as buyers were definitely not taken care of.

DO NOT TRUST RICHMOND Worst builders, inhuman, really do not care about buyers,we were closing on a home in ********* *****, the mortgage rate went so high. We are repeatedly requesting to transfer our booking amount of $36000 to a smaller townhome. But they would rather pocket our booking amount as we are unable to close due to high mortgage rate. Do not buy from them, they are so inhuman and so difficult to work with.Regretting giving booking amount to them.DO NOT TRUST THEM.I BEGGED RICHMOND SEVERAL TIMES THAT THIS IS MY KID'S TUITION MONEY AND IT WILL EFFECT MY FAMILY.THEY DO NOT GIVE A **** The quality of construction is so bad , they have a crack already in the basement floor that runs acroos atleast 15 feet , even when the house is under construction Pathetic

Nothing has been touched or fixed. And maybe better off that way. Worst customer device and workmanship Ive seen in 20 years.

This has been the worst experience with Richmond American homes. First my house took over a year to be completed; I was told it would be done in June or July, but I was not able to move in until November. The finance company did not communicate at all until they needed something from me but when I had questions I was Not given the time of day. After finally moving in the plug for my refrigerator wasnt working and they did not fix it till days later. I had to run and extension cord through the kitchen just to use it. The fence that they put in is so ghetto and falling apart; it looks like a 10 year old child built it! The boards arent straight and some of the nails arent even attached to anything, also the posts are cracking and the boards are warping. Im not sure why they chose to use such cheap ghetto materials but they are just wasted money because they dont last for longer than six months!!! Seriously my mom could have done a better job! After that I kept noticing more and more things wrong; one major thing is my front door frame is not level so there are major gaps in the door where bugs come in and water from the rain. Now i have water Damage and no one has come to fix it. I have now lived here 8 months, nothing has been fix and Ive submitted so many tickets. What is the point of submitting tickets if they arent going to answer to them?! Richmond is looking at a lawsuit if they dont do better; Ive talked to many of my neighbors who are having the same issues with them. Its so disappointing when you spend over half of a million dollars on a home that is falling apart.

Beware, they are scam artists and could care less that they lied to you. Broken promises..no one calls back when promised, they just want to take your money. The lenders are horrible. The supervisor of the build and undelivering and over promising. This company has let me homeless in the process. Dont buy with this company !!

I have lived in my home for less than two year and the siding is already coming off. There are several other homes in my community that have the same issue. I have spoken to my neighbors, and we have reached out to a law firm to see if a class action lawsuit would be feasible. I would never buy another home from Richmond American. The contractors they use are the bottom of the barrel.

I have water issues. Its been 13 months and I still cant use the Primary shower due to improper shower door install! Look at the water issues!!! (If I could show you the video I would.). Run fast from this builder. Avoid at all costs. My land was not graded properly. Worse is the Nassau County admitted and did nothing about. Every storm I stress about water in my house.
