      I work from home. There are internet outages almost every other week. They are costing my approximately ******* per day that I do not have internet! **************** SUCKS! For a full day of outage, they give you 2.50 for the inconvenience. Don't worry. I'm looking into filling a class action lawsuit. Save yourself the frustration of a ************ and go with Xfinity.I had been with centurylink for more than 16 years. They used to be customer friendly to use. Now it takes hours to get ahold of a live rep. *** more than likely you'll talk to someone from a different country who could give two S"""s about Americans.

      I HAVE TRIED FOR 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT!!! I HAVE SENT THE ***** BACK (I HAVE TRACKING # RECEIPT) I KEEP GETTING A BILL AND NO ONE ANSWERS THEIR PHONES AT CENTURY LINK!!! YOU STI FOR HOURS ON HOLD!!!!!

      Their customer service is terrible. Their personnel have heavy accents. They read scripts that are non informative and designed to ask your continued patience for their lack of ability to repair any outage in a timely manner. Their repair times are atrocious with continued updates with meaningless times that they always miss. I was out for 4 days and got tired pt the lies. I was informed no one worked the weekend to fix the area wide outage. They are not worth using and I have switched to another more reliable carrier. I also looked up their HQ address and could find none.. .

      Terrible company. No customer service at all. It is a virtual agent that runs you in circles. We ordered internet, they cancelled my appt twice and no showed on the third. The online chat person said there was a break in the line between the house and street and they would need to come out. When I finally got another text thread going they said it was working fine... it wasn't. Don't use these guys!! any mobile carrier is better than Centurylink. Unless you like being let down and frustrated, then maybe these guys are for you!

      Only needed them to change service address, no other changes. They made so many errors with this that my business and medical practice had no voicemail and could not receive faxes for almost a month, putting patients at risk and damaging my business. Hours and hours on the phone with **** that could only look at their one small area and kept making errors. No one stuck with me to make sure that it was resolved, had to call over and over again for hours at a time. Even though they admitted mistakes were made, said would not refund anything as the phone worked! What business is ok with just the phone ringing and not being able to receive messages or faxes! Terrible, terrible, terrible company.

      Unbelievably horrible service. I had an appointment and they canceled saying it was fixed. I even paid for the in-house line insurance to make sure it would work. I drove 200 miles for the appointment to find no DSL working, no appointment despite having made one, and no appointment anytime soon available. I am furious and disgusted.

      There are no words. They are the worst of the worst with no customer service and worst of all no Internet. It has been a nightmare dealing with this. They take your money and provide you nothing... it is a fraud and a scam and should be stopped! I fully understand there is no regulation on these companies any more but there should be some consumer protections. It is unbelievable they are able to continue getting away with this fraud with absolutely no accountability. Beyond horrible.

      ************* Ever!!! They will not cancel my service that is now $196 a month, when it was previously $54 a month. They have no local offices. You will wait on the phone for over an hour, then be transfered multiple times until you give up. I don't understand how this company is allowed to operate. This complaint/negative review will probably be worthless in assisting me and others though. **** :/

      We have had intermittent service for over a year now. Constant rebuffing. Dropped service. Techs come. Say its fixed. Same problem. We now have no internet at all. We have tried over a dozen times to get a tech here that can actually repair the problem. We have requested a supervisor, and actually after holding for 90 minutes, the call was dropped on C L end. Now, after nine days CL says a cable failure is the issue and a repair crew is needed. A cable failure has certainly been identified, so CL says; but for nine days prior no one has actually said a word about a cable failure. I remain completely sure in the knowledge that today will bring no resolution. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Thats saying something. They have extremely poor listening skills and rush to complete their canned scripts. In so doing the operators are constantly talking over and NEVER actually listening. But. I quote. Dont worry someone will fix the trouble today. Dont worry. Did I mention: Dont worry

      I have had CL for several years. We received our last bill for the amount of .13 cents. Thought it was odd but statement said there had been a rate change. Whatever, we sent in $5 just to be safe thinking it would all pan out next bill. Well next **** arrived stating a "Posting Error" and a Late Payment Charge for $16. Of course I called and spoke with ******. She was of zero help and said if I wanted the charge reversed, I would need to go to autopay and that I should have realized there was an issue and called. I cancelled service. Just disgusted at this level of customer service.
