      10-7-24 Internet went down, spent 2 hours trying to contact support via chat, where the agent would disconnect, multiple phone handoffs and finally reached a person who scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. Took the day off, received a text the tech arrived at my home, but nobody showed.Spent another hour trying to figure out where the tech was. Was told I was not home, tech knocked, called, and waited 30 mins outside my home. Nobody showed up, nobody called.Spent another hour on phone tag only to be told it was my fault, they would not come back for another two ******* way to tell where the tech is. I called several more times to speak with a supervisor, only to be hung up on and disconnected repeatedly.

      We made an appt. 2 MONTHS AGO to get a wire from the street to our house for our rebuild after losing our home in the ******** Fire. The window to get service today was 9 hours, from 8am to 5pm. My husband took off work and was there ALL day! We had people putting in wood floors and hanging doors & trim and there was a fleet of their vehicles in front of our house and I even happened to take a photo of this. My husband's truck was there ALL day too! After 5pm, we called and they said the technician said 'Nobody was at home'. Are you kidding??? There were 10 people working in our house all day! I brought my husband Burger King for lunch! I'm SOOO upset! Our new appointment is December 13th, over two months from now!!! This is the absolute WORST service ever and the technician is a flat out liar!! I can't believe a company can do this to people let alone to people who lost their house in a federal disaster! They owe us for my husband losing a day of work for their incompetence! Horrible service!!! If you can, avoid this company!!!

      My new service was supposedly activated on Sept 13th. The service technician came half way up our drive before stopping and backing out. We tried our new equipment, but it did not work. I immediately began trying to contact them and was connected with a customer service representative by chat. Speaking with them in person is an almost impossible feat. We had not had service since moving to the house, so I had no way of knowing if the line or **** were functional. I had to agree to a $99.00 charge for someone to look into it. I agreed and waited until the next day for the technician to arrive. As it became later in the day the next day, I contacted them for a status, to be told no one was scheduled to come to my house. The representative scheduled me for the next day. When the technician arrived, he informed me the original technician that activated the service, activated the wrong line. He had it fixed within a very short time. I spent an hour and a half on the phone yesterday in an effort to have the $99.00 removed from my bill since it wasn't my fault or faulty line/****. I was put on hold and eventually disconnected. After they get the sale, Centurylink has zero customer service. If I had the option for another carrier, I would NOT use them.

      I cancelled CenturyLink in August 2024 and I continue to be billed. I have spoken with THREE separate customer service **** on the phone and also went into the website and had a live chat with a human and am STILL being billed. This is illegal! My account number is *************... STOP BILLING ME!!!

      Very bad service. I live in ********* AZ and for the last couple days their modem has changed IP address 2 times. This results in me not being able to work (I work from home) and they only gave me a measly $2.00 off on my next bill. I lost 6 hours in total from my work. I do NOT recommend anyone in AZ to go with this cheap company. I wish *** would set up shop here and give CenturyLink a run for their money

      I was promised a lifetime price on **************** when I sign in about a year ago. They just raised the price from $70 to $80 this month. Their ad is a lie and they practice bait-and-switch. This is the worst **************** Provider in the area with many outages and bad customer service. The raise is not justified.

      Definitely in the bottom of the heap for customer service. They raise prices for their services or equipment with no notice. If you try to contact them you end up in the never ending holding pattern with no notice or verification that you're in the holding pattern. Just a repeating electronic background music. Thanks to government intervention in 1996, we don't have the choices for providers that was supposedly spelled out in the Telecommunications Act.. thus, we have no accountability for their poor service.

      Absolutely the WORST service ever! My Internet stopped working many many times but eventually went back on so I kept the service on giving them chance after chance, and that was my fault I should of stopped the service then especially since I work from home and kept losing money every time my Internet stopped. Well eventually it stopped working and never went back on again I was on the phone every day with support trying to fix my service and nothing worked then they set up at date for a technician to come and it was about 2 weeks out so I waited and went without Internet and work the whole time and the day the technician was supposed to show somehow went to the wrong address and called me saying they unfortunately have to reschedule because they went to the wrong address so I said just shut it off I'm done with it completely. Now they sent me a bill for the full month of service I never received and other insane charges. And now my dad's service somehow just went out like mine did and he is going through the same issue I did and he is elderly with cancer. They are a nightmare to say the least.

      Had an appointment for installation today. Was told I needed to be home from 8a-5p and I may or may not get a notice prior to them showing so I must be home. Took the full day off, waited, called to get confirmation they were still coming and was told yes. Received a text around 4 pm that they needed to reschedule 2 weeks out. Not acceptable!
