      My father has a heart condition and has had no service for over a week now. Company keeps telling them They are sending someone tomorrow he sat home for 3 days straight waiting on a serviceman to repair his service . Now they are saying October 3!! Thats over 2 weeks without a landline to dial 911, or internet !! For the amount of money he pays monthly to this company , this is ridiculous! The communication and customer service is awful!

      Im on the session for our church in ********* WI. Today our office manager asked me to sit in on a call from Lumen/century link. We were told on October 1st our internet/phone (1 landline) bill would increase to $1011/month no contract or $650 with a contract. We currently pay $157. Reason the company wants to make a profit. Obviously that doesnt give us any time to switch providers. We are, but the installation wont occur until October 14th. It looks like we are going to end up paying $1011 for the month of October. Lot of people are going to hear this news including politicians.

      I had CenturyLink service *********. Leaving them as a payee in my billpay was a BIG mistake. I accidentally checked CenturyLink rather than a current vendor when I made a payment. The payment was processed before I realized the error.Calling CenturyLink is an endless cycle of trying different menu options to talk to a support person. When I did talk to a couple different representatives (and chatted in their help system with one) I was stonewalled in trying to track down the erroneous payment for a refund.The representatives asked for the account number. I gave it directly from the paperwork I had saved. I was informed that my account number wasn't one of their account numbers. I explained that it was an old account and asked if I could speak with someone who worked in accounts receivable or billing. I was denied this as an ********* payment with the old account number was processed without question. When asked to return it, ************ denied all knowledge and accountability.

      Internet service has been out since 9/20 called schedule a appt and got one for 9/24 8-5 at 520 no one came chatted online and was Informed to give till 707pm at 735 got back on the chat to be told that the tech had a situation and I had to be rescheduled and the next date was not till 9/26...this is so unacceptable my daughter works from home and can't work ...and not to get in the next day due to a error of a tech situation...

      They don't know what they're doing. We've used them for 8 months and have had 5 outages. They take 2-3 appointments to figure out what is going. I've been without internet for for 2 weeks. ***** this company at all costs.

      There needs to be a 0 star option. Century Link is the WORST business I have ever had to deal with. They change their fees without clear proper notice. Their billing cycle changes every month, they provide less than 10 days from receipt of the bill to pay the bill. They add late fees because they take over a week to process payments received. According to Century Link the average time my bill allegedly sits in the mail waiting to arrive at their processing dump is upwards of 14 days. They now have a new policy that requires autopayment set up in order to remove any late fees. The last thing I am going to do is give Century Link direct access to withdraw from my bank account when the billing cycle changes frequently and mystery fees and new charges end up on my bill. This requirement is discriminatory! Their customer service is awful, it's never less than 15 minutes on hold and those who answer the calls along with the supervisor's have awful attitudes with no willingness to assist or answer basic questions. I am now searching for other service providers, I have had enough. Century Link doesn't deserve anyone's business. Steer clear- they are THIEFS.

      Was charged a late fee of $19.34 for a payment I made ahead of the scheduled due date. Mistake was made by CenturyLink but they won't cancel the late charge unless I sign up for auto pay. This is coercion. I refuse to be forced into an action by their mistake. Bad policy from this greedy company.

      I lost my credit card that I was paying my bill with and had to receive a new one. As, I missed changing the number with century link they closed my account. When I became aware of this, I tried to call them to pay my bill and get reinstated at the rate I was at. I had been with them for over 6 years and never missed a payment. I tried for a week to get through to a person or to pay my bill online. Since they had closed my account, I could not get online to pay my bill, I tried every phone number I could find and when they couldn't put my phone number with an account they discontinued the call. No offer to speak to a representative what so ever. The chat line would not work for me also. Finally after a week and pushing numbers on my phone I got through to a very uncooperative person. He would not even consider that it took me a week of searching to finally get a human being on the other end of the line! I finally told him I was not going to be doing business with them again.

      This company is the only company I know that is not a company with pride. The employees are so rude. What is going on with Centurylink. No countability whatsoever. One employee name Nova was very rude
