      No stars had to put on to post this I have tried multiple times with so many different numbers and Ive only spoken to maybe two different people that they cant help me you guys are liars I wanted to quote today he activated my account without me wanting it I asked him multiple times is this just a quote I need to speak to my husband the name persons name is ****** hes a liar Im going to go to the Better Business Bureau and Im going to blast all over social media has all the Internet about how you guys are crooks I need to have you guys reach out to me because I need to deactivate my account immediately or Im gonna be taking further steps to get a lawsuit against you

      Ive been paying for 10 mbps and receiving 3.6. Horrible customer service. Have to take a whole day off work to have a technician come out. This is the worst ************ ever dealt with. Super hard to communicate with.

      This company is a joke, need a zero star option one star is giving them too much credit. Have been trying to get someone out to upgrade my service for 3 weeks now. Keep making appointments which require you to Sit around all day 8-5 and then no one shows up. Call and complain and they say they arent sure what happened it just fell through the cracks. The only way they are staying in business is they dont have much competition.

      set up new account, took day off as they requested 8am-5pm window for install. tech arrived said needed line, would place order and they would call to schedule install which would require another day off. they should have done that first. missed full day of work for nothing. told them to cancel order which they did with a simple sorry. don't bother with this company they don't care about their customers.

      My husband and I decided to go with Century link back in 2021 because it had better pricing. We wanted to upgrade our service to have faster internet. My husband did the upgrade online. Suddenly we had two accounts for our household. One business and one residence. We had called the customer service line to explain we only have the one household and no business line. The customer service guy even said, "Oh yeah that happens a lot when you upgrade online. It's better to call." We were being charged twice per month. We never used the business account. My husband called five or six times within a few months to explain to customer service that this was an error. The customer service line is AWFUL. He was transferred over and over again. Every time after a FEW HOURS on the phone, they would end it with, "Our finance office will be removing this account. You don't owe anything." We have the bank statements to prove we were paying our bills on time/every time. They sent us to collections now stating we owe $635. Obviously calling the customer service does nothing. Their employees have absolutely no idea what they're doing. We are increasingly frustrated and offended by the actions of this company.We are going to be getting an attorney and reporting this to channel 13 of *********.

      Support is an absolute mess with this CenturyLink. They only provide support through a chat interface on their webpage, so if you want to report that your internet is down you have to go to a website. Their phone number has no support services. All support avenues from the phone direct you to the website. The chat interface and the individuals demand your call back information every time you move from person to person. I've been disconnected 3 times since having this problem, and no one has called me back. The support individuals are polite and excessively obtuse. The technicians themselves are contractors and typically exceedingly rude and abrasive.I find it magically amusing that a multi-billion dollar company (Lumen) is so easily defeated by wildlife and can't manage to find time in a 12-hour arrival window. I'll be switching service immediately, and they are on my permanent list of companies never to do business with again.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. Our neighbor was getting a fence and they cut the wire. They did their part in fixing it but century link needed to come out. Couldnt send a tech out for a week. I told them we work remotely, we dont have an office to go to, and all they say was sorry. I asked them to talk with a manager. They claimed they did, yet could not make an earlier tech appointment. I said I expect to be compensated for our loss of income and they said all they could do for us is give us a credit for the time our service was out. Horrible customer service. We are moving to ***. Dont care if we have to pay more. Also heard that CenturyLink scams you and sells you more expensive packages knowing that you can get more than a certain speed in your area. Crooks.

      I have internet with century, not only is the actual service seriously lacking I pay the same $59/month other people pay for advertised speeds up to 100gb and I'm only getting 3gb where I live, my service frequently goes out. Usually I'm able to eventually get someone on the chat to fix it I've had to have a technician come out once before and after doing everything they said and being 28th in the line and waiting to finally talk to someone we still couldn't get it solved and set up a dispatch appt on Sept 12th for the following week on Sept 21st I was concerned about us being out of internet so long and wanted to find out if my prepaid account would be credited for being out of service 8 days they told me to wait for the tech. Well Sept 21st comes and no tech so I get on the chat again and they say there is no note for a technician, how can they help me...and for obvious reasons I say I am still in need of a tech to come out, I'm sure they have the chats recorded and can see that there was a dispatch appt made. I specifically took off today and sat at my house from 8-4 waiting for no one to show up to be told I had to reschedule in another 2 days when I'm working. Once I told the person I work so when is the next appt he said they will call before they come so can we go ahead i went ahead and set it up and hopefully I can find someone to come over to my house when they come, but I won't be there to ask the technician about my credit or figure out what happened. I asked the person I was talking to how I could reach a supervisor or anyone about a credit for the 11 days I'll be out of service already on my prepaid monthly account and he said I have to wait for the tech so I basically got no where. I'm seriously thinking about canceling service and getting a mobile hotspot for the house because obviously they lack customer service skills while already having sub par service.

      Ive been without Internet for two weeks and there was supposed to come today September 21 I waited all day long they text me between eight and five and at the end of the day they cancel me they said that they have to reschedule no explanation I called the customer service and all they could say is Im sorry because they have no clue whats going on they shouldnt be in business if I could give them a zero star I would
