I was unjustly towed at ************************. I arrived around 8:31pm, towed at 8:46pm while parked in an area that had no signs within that whole row that stated a parking permit was needed or at what time one would be needed. The only sign I could find was a 5 minute walk towards the entrance, with no lights illuminating the notice, that stated towing started after 7pm. The signs that stated a permit was needed were few. They were attached to garbage bins and covered parking spaces. Nowhere near where I parked. I had to walk 20ft+, on the opposite side of where I parked to see a sign on a row that stated a Towing company information. My whole row where I parked had no signs or reserved parking markings at all. When arriving via Uber that same night to the South lot of Wyatts towing, after being on hold for over an hour, I was told the office there was closed and that I needed to travel 23miles North to get my release papers, while all my belongings, including my IDs, Debits Cards, socials, title, etc were still locked in the South lot. Then I would have to **** from the North lot back down to the South to then get my car. Incurring even more costs to myself. This seems very unethical since my vehicle was taken without my consent or knowledge only 15 minutes after parking. The initial fees were a $228.01 but ended up paying $474.51 for less than 15hrs of holding my vehicle. Wyats Towing violated ** law. - There was no notification given whatsoever. I received no phone call or any form of "notification" from anyone. - Since there was no notification of this occurring, the storage fee and notification I was charged directly violates the so-called towing bill of rights. Which states I cannot be charged for vehicle storage prior to them notifying vehicle owner (me) about the location that the vehicle was towed to. Thus, nullifying the $75 notification fee and the $27.38 per day storage fee. - I also dispute the $96.38 after hours fee since I was towed on Fri.Initial Complaint

I was illegally towed while visiting a family member at their apartment complex. I spent 2.5 hours at the residence where my family member was told no visitor needs a parking permit if so long they are not parking over night. There also isnt assigned visitor parking spots. Not only was tow without the required notice I was then cursed at by the clerk when picking my car up for asking what the total was. I was called a dumb b**** and told my f****** receipt was printing. I was not informed of a 12% fee for paying with my card and there was also a song stating they so not give change on cash. They also refused any prod of my alleged illegal parking or any recognition of the complexs regulations. The attendant at the counter intentionally would not unlock the gate after I paid to allow me to get car because I asked where I could enter. It was the most horrific experience Ive had with a company in my life. My car has been towed for less than hour before I realized it and then was unable to go get it immediately without being penalized with a $150 fine for getting it out of the lot outside of business hours (which they towed outside of ************* hours) causing me to have to leave it until the following day and still accruing additional hourly holding fees. This place is predatory towing and extorting people through unregulated fines and practices.Initial Complaint

On July 1 at 10:45 p.m. ******* Towing towed both of our vehicles from parking spots at ******************* They were clear parking spots and the towing company claimed we were in a fire-lane. After going back and forth with them (and receiving extremely rude attitude) on July 2, we ended up picking up our vehicles to ensure there was no additional storage charges. It costed a total of $816.10 for them to release our vehicles. On July 3rd, I contacted our leasing agent (*******************************-BB living at ****** Creek) and she immediately made contact with ParkM, and sure enough the towing company was in the wrong. The towing company is apparently issuing a refund by sending a check in the mail, however I wanted to report this as they caused an extreme amount of stress on my family AND they have made no effort to contact us and apologize. We walked out to both vehicles missing, resulting in no car seats for our two children. This company can not just go around towing vehicles for fun. The invoice numbers from the towing company are ****** and ******. The picture attached is where they towed us from.Initial Complaint

Early this morning at 3am on July 1st 2023 Wyatts towing wrongfully towed my car from my apartment complex. The reason they towed was that I didnt have a parking permit to be there. Which I did in fact. Its on my rear view mirror. Upon inspection of the parking space, there are clear drag marks and liquid on the ground from them damaging my vehicle. When I received my car for free as they admitted it was wrongfully towed, multiple dash lights were on. ABS brake out, ****** out and power steering out. When I confronted them about this they told me to file a complaint and that I had 15mins to get my car off the lot or they were gonna impound it again. They refused to tow my car to a mechanic. I had to call another tow service and pay $175 for their service. This is the third time my car was wrongly towed (once on November 15, 2022 and another on December 21st, 2022) and this time they damaged it. I will be taking them to court over this but regardless this is not acceptable. They are responsible for the damage to my car and they should be responsible for getting it fixed and paying for my Uber cost to and from home and cost of my time missed at work due to their negligence. I will have cost estimates this coming week.Initial Complaint

The ***** towing company stole my car for money blackmail extortion scheme they are running away with. They are plain rapists. They hide and remove parking regulations from plain view and watch who parks there and steal your car in a minute. Then they will process your car for days, to steal more money for storing car they stole from you. Only in America. Where is the truth and justice? Nowhere here.Initial Complaint

June 11, 2023- date of incident Sunday- there was a ****** family festival going on, parking was inadequate in the area I was visiting with family and I am not from the area. There was ample parking in the lot and the businesses in the area were closed. My vehicle was towed, along with other vehicles that were just there for the day's festival. With the multiple parking lots available (more than 15 parking lots were unoccupied), closed businesses, there was not information about how the parking lot is not open for Sunday. This has been the only place that I have heard that even parking is not allowed on a Sunday. To add to that, when I picked up my vehicle, less than 2 hours, I had to pay what was listed as a total of $363.00. (This amount was even wrong as there was an additional credit charge surcharge) This is extortion. The employee said that their price increases every minute! Also, the receipt listed the tow fee as $228.01, per day storage is added $3.65, mileage fee is $34.96 and after hours fee is $96.38! Total became $373.89 for a surcharge on credit card! The employee told me that my bill was $363.00 flat. She said nothing about a credit card surcharge! Why is there an after hours fee! They should not be working then if it is after hours! If Sunday is considered after hours, then why are they towing! Very inconsiderate and unwelcoming businesses to those who were just going to enjoy the day with their families. There signs are misleading and hard to read (most towed signage are in red). I would like the business bureau to talk to the parking lot owners and the towing company that what they are doing is wrong. So many young families were affected that day. They should have signs and say that festival goers are not welcome to their lot or better yet, just block off their lot for the weekend or make it clear that its only for them (plus, list down all the businesses that the lot is supposedly for!)Initial Complaint

My car was taken from my apartment on 06/11/2023 at 12:53 am directly violating my rights under the states *************************** which states that they are required to notified me 24 hours before taking my vehicle. Which never happened. Also, my apartment does not mention having a parking permit in our contract. The only resolution I can think of is getting reimbursement for what I had to spend to get my car back.
