My vehicle was towed yet I got there while my vehicle was still being hooked up and had NOT left the property. I asked to pay the drop fee and driver said he would only take cash yet the website clearly says **** or Mastercard is accepted.Customer Answer

I would like some of my money back. I paid $380.07 when the maximum drop charge is $88. I should have been allowed to pay the drop charge as my vehicle was still being hooked up on the property. The driver refused to let me pay by credit card, per their policy.Initial Complaint

My car was towed without notice on 5-10-23, less than two days after i got it. And when i got home with it my apartments office was closed, which leaves less than a day to go to my apartments office and get it registered for a permit. So the next day after i got home with the car, i go outside to talk to my office about getting a parking permit, my car was gone. ******** law requires that a towing company must give a written twenty-four hour notice before towing a car in an apartment complex, that in which i did not get. In addition to the towing costs, there is also a "notification fee" in which i didn't get notified at all, i had to call my counties non emergency line to find out if it was towed and with whom it was towed by. Therefore this was an illegal tow from a money grabbing tow company.Initial Complaint

On May 2 my son's car was towed from behind his apartment building because I parked in a spot that was for the business next door. I'm not disputing the tow. After confirming with the police that the car had been towed and calling ******* (after being on hold for 22 minutes) to ask what was needed to retreive the car. The person who answered did not indicate there was more than one location. the Brighton location is listed as "permanently closed" on maps so I drove to the open location over an hour away. They told me to go to Brighton. I arrived at Brighton shortly after 5 and was charged extra fees including a fee for pickup after 5 even though the staff person acknowledged that ****** maps and mapquest show "permanently closed" I couldn't pick up without paying for everything. After my son got the car back he noticed a transmission fluid leak. He called ******* to report damage due to the tow, but they said I should have gotten under the car to check for damage before pickup. I would like to be refunded the after hours fee and adjustments fee. Also, I would like the damage to the undercarriage of my son's car repaired. Thank you.Initial Complaint

A vehicle with a parking permit was wrongly towed at 3am. Additionally, I called at 5am to inquire about picking it up "after hours," which is an option indicated on their website. However, they don't allow for pickup outside of business hours (8am-5pm) at the location they chose to hold the vehicle. There is NO indication on their website (or anywhere else) that after-hours pickup may not be an option.Beyond false advertising, this practice is predatory and forces the vehicle to be held for longer than it needs to be. If the vehicle is impounded outside of business hours, it should be at a lot that allows for pickup within a similar timeframe.Initial Complaint

on 5/6/23, my car was towed out of my condo's parking lot. I have an assigned space,#**, in the lot, where my car was parked. I also have a parking permit in my car. My car was still towed at 2 am that morning. I had to go to the H3532**303035383334H place and pay $460 for my car sitting in their lot for 6 hours. There was no warning or anything.Initial Complaint

This company has towed my car twice in areas without proper signage and without notice on 4/29/2023 and again on 5/5/2023. They have been the subject of numerous complaints against them already and at least one national news story about their vile business practices.Initial Complaint

My 2016 Jeep Cherokee was towed from my daughter's apartment complex, The ************** in Aurora, from a secure garage on March 15, 2023. ******* damaged the Jeep when they towed it. I filed a complaint for the vehicle damage with ******* Towing through their website on March 16, 2023. The email they sent back to me indicated they would take ***** hours for the initial investigation. When I called to follow up, they said it would take 2-3 weeks to hear back from the claims department. I have called multiple times to get a response and they have not gotten back to **. The last couple of times that I have called, I have waited on hold for 30 - 90 minutes to speak to a person. They continue to tell me a supervisor will call back. I have not heard back as of today. It is now 7 weeks since I filed the complaint. It cost $377 to get the Jeep back. I would like an explanation as to why they towed the car from a secured garage without trying to contact my daughter. And I would like them to repair the damages or refund the towing charge. Thank you!Initial Complaint

Vehicle parked at Airie Apartment complex. Towed from this complex for being parked in disabled parking without my permit being visible. Yes, I understand this in an unlawful act (not approved nor against the law). Therefore, I was not in violation of any law for my vehicle to be towed. I explained that I forgot to place the disable parking on the windshield but could show proof of permit inside my vehicle. Denied the ability to show proof and charged.
