My car was towed by Wyatts towing around midnight on the 28th-29th of March from the parking lot of my apartment complex where Ive parked for months without an issue. One of the issues I have is that Ive read in several different articles that you have to be given 24 hours notice before towing from an apartment lot. I was not given any notice. Another issue is how they are able to charge so much more than anybody else. My car was in their possession roughly 16hrs bc that was the earliest I could get there on account I had to work and it cost $356 dollars. Finally, and what is the issue Im having the most trouble understanding, is the fact that when I brought up paying only the 15% in order to get my car back, as clearly stated in all the CO towing bill of rights, I was required to present all sorts of paperwork. i.e. registration, the title and/or a bill of sale. However, absolutely non of that was required with full payment. The 15% law is in place to allow people who simply do not have such a large sum of money at the drop of a dime the opportunity to retrieve their car before it accrues an even larger fee while theyre trying to come up w the money for the initial one. Had I not been able to borrow some money from a close friend, thats exactly what would have happened to me today. I would like an explanation as to why proof of ownership was only required when I mentioned only paying 15%. That information has absolutely nothing to do with making future payments. I gave them my drivers license with my current address along w my phone number, so they had all the info needed for that. The only thing I can come up with is the fact that they knew I didnt have the paperwork, so they used that knowledge to essentially force me to make the payment in full and that is WRONG!! The employees of Wyatts Towing are well known and well documented thieves that should have their business license revoked and forced to pay restitution to those theyve victimized.

1/13/** ******* H353**1303035383334H illegally seized our vehicle, stating it was parked in a fire zone, despite no fire zone being present for miles. Their pictures they provided show no fire zone, our picture shows no fire zone. We filed a police report #**-**638 and Officer ******** stated they are a known predatory company. We were required to pay $3**.14 to authorize the release of the vehicle. Our lawyer has reviewed the evidence and deemed it an illegal tow, and we'd rather not go to court but absolutely will if a 100% refund is not resolved.

Wyatts towing has been towing cars in our complex with permits giving new excuses every time. Our same car was towed twice in a week even with the registered permit. We would pay over 800 dollars total.

3/21/23-3/22/23 So as of yesterday on March 21st me and my wife were sp being all day doing emissions, going to the *** and motor vehicle to get new license plates and sign this new car we just bought to our name?. And we did this all by 4 pm 3/21/23 and we come home and my wife goes into the ParkM.com and we pay for a new parking permit at around 7pm 3/21/23. So we think everything is fine. So I wake up this morning on 3/22/23 and notice my car is GONE?!!!! So now I'm pretty upset because we WERE NEVER GIVEN ANY NOTICE. And by law they are required to give you 48hour notice before they pick up the vehicle. So I'm confused and really furious that this happened. And I would really like for them to have some kind of consequence. Like giving me my money back that I'm Gunna have to pay to get the car out when I get didn't need to take it in the first place. I could see if my permit wasn't active or I didn't pay AT ALL. But I did everything right?! So believe I'm Gunna keep putting through complaints until I get what I deserve. I want my car and money back. This is such an inconvenience.

My car was illegally towed from a Wendys parking lot off Colfax on Saturday evening, 3/18/23 by Wyatts Towing Company. I went inside to get food with a friend just after 7:00pm. We then walked to a few places down Colfax and when we returned to the car around 8:30pm, it was gone. It had been towed at 8:04pm, based on the paperwork I was provided when I picked up my vehicle. There were no signs indicating it was illegal to park where I did, especially since we were customers of the restaurant on the property. I was later told that it was event parking and I needed a permit. Nothing indicated that in or near the lot whatsoever, otherwise I would not have parked there. I have a witness that was in my car with me who has provided a statement. I also have timestamped photos to support my claim. When I went to retrieve my car from the tow lot, my total bill was $361. My car had been there for just over 2 hours and may have exceeded the maximum fines set forth by the state. I am currently looking into this... After conducting basic research on this company, it seems they are a scam and need to be investigated immediately. I believe this is considered predatory towing. The woman I worked with at the tow yard was not helpful at all and refused to answer any of my questions. Wyatts Towing needs to be held accountable for their questionable business practices and exorbitant fees. They have multiple lawsuits and judgements against them for a reason and its concerning. I would greatly appreciate someone following up with me on this complaint. I have some questions about next steps in this process. The best number for me is ************ or ******************

Wyatts towing towed my car from my designated spot from my apartments 02/24/23 without any given notice , I was forced to pay a $20 Uber to go to the place at 3:00am which they charged me $388 just to get it out. On top of that I had to call into work making me lose my daily pay of $150 and potentially my job which would be my rent that I now have to make up. They have made my life harder than it already is and I feel like they are a scam company , I demand that they refund my $388 and my Uber fee plus my lost wages . This would total to $558 .
