03.22.2023 I had temporarily parked my car close to my complex in order to move items from my vehicle to my place of residence. I parked in the closest spot which was reserved as I didn't want to block the street and would only take me a moment to unload the heavy items I had. I have a Tachycardia heart which I wasn't going to be able to move these items from were I normally park. My car was booted. I called an email & was informed that they weren't going to help despite what I had told them, just that the operator doesn't know the circumstances of a violation. I had emailed them that I had an appointment the next day and also needed to get medications which I wont be able to do if I had to pay this as well as a deposit. They stated that they wont be help as there is no exceptions. They also stated that no one would call and everything would need to be on an email correspondences. I had to use the money I would have used to get to my appointment as ***** as my medications for this fine and its deposit that even still waiting on 7 business days later. This company is taking advantage of people as my friend the next day came over wasn't here long and he also got booted and had to pay the fine as well as a deposit. There is rights that people should be protected by.

Over the past two years, my two roommates have had a parking pass in our condo complex to park in a specific parking space and at 3 random times throughout our lease, Park it right has booted their cars in the specific parking space while our passes our exactly where they should be. No proof of violations, only tell us their cars are "an unauthorized vehicle" but every day other than those 3 that we park there, we haven't been in violation. They are robbing people by being negligent of their jobs and not taking the proper steps to make sure a car is permitted to be there. Our parking pass is for spot I-19 and that is clearly where we are parked. Refuse to pay for something we haven't done. Poor business practices.

    Hello,

I do apologize that I had not responded to the previous message in regards to what the business replied with! I did state no longer that 15hrs as a total for the entire time that I was there! I had even sent them a response to their response with the below! They stopped responding to me all together when I sent this! I would like my case reopened please

How is that even possible? I least at 8am Wednesday morning! I didnt come back until 1pm. Left again at around 5 and was back at 7? What rules were possibly broken for me to be booted on this property? I have actually parked in three different visitor parking spaces each time I came back? And form my knowledge if I would have been there longer than 3 days that is a violation of parking! I have witnesses that can attest to my leaving each and every time! I can also tell you where I went what intersections I took there is no possible legal way that there has been any kind of violation! This is unlawful immoral!

Park It Right refuses to talk on the phone or in person if there are issues. They essentially can hold vehicles hostage with no due process and charge whatever they want with no oversight. I want the BBB to look into the business practices of this company. My car was booted IN MY OWN DESIGNATED CONDO SPOT FOR BEING BRIEFLY OVER THE LINE - please see photos. THERE WAS NO WARNING. The company refused to respond to any correspondence until I threatened to dispute the charge with my CC company. To which they replied they would REINSTATE the violation and have my car towed. FROM MY OWN LOT This is corporate greed at its finest. The *** has been notified.

I am rejecting this response because:you failed to acknowledge the multiple phone calls that occurred and the previous emails sent out PRIOR to my mention of disputing the charge with my credit card company. I had also talked with the neighbor next to me whose line I was over and he said he had no issues and its a shame that a company would rob someone of $350 for a poor park job.

They do not follow the rules of the parking agreements in HOA guidelines. They make assumptions to make an easy buck. Companies like this should not exist. Double Parked Vehicle that is double parked and impeding other vehicles and/or access to other carport spaces A tire on a line is double parked to them and therefore impeding you get an impeding violation.

I woke up on the 2nd of February2023 to find out my car has been booted into a guest parking space at my girlfriend's house on *****************, ****** **. I had an important meeting that morning so I immediately paid the money that I was charged. They charged $200 with a security deposit of $165 which I paid and returned their boot to where they said to return it I took a picture and sent it to them through the email provides. This business told me I will get my security deposit back in **** business working days. I contacted them on Feb 13 to ask for my security deposit someone respond to me within 10 minutes that I should allow the 14 days to pass entirely which I believe has already passed that day. I email them again on February 24, 2023, but there was no response until this moment and they didn't refund my deposit. I am not sure the type of business these people are running and how unprofessional they are is worrisome by not responding to emails immediately it got to paying my security deposit back.

I received a boot from park it right in my reserved parking spot at my condo complex parking lot in December because my tire was touching the line. They have never posted or sent out any parking lot rules or regulations to the residents by the way. So long story short they charge $375 for a code to remove the boot. $165 is a deposit that was to be returned within two weeks. This requires caring the boot to the other side of the complex and locking it to a street sign. I dutifully did this and have yet to receive my refund. I have notified the company several time and havent even received a email in reply. This looks to be a very common problem with this company as I see over 80 complaints just on BBB alone. A simple ****** search shows complaints from numerous sources. I would just like my security deposit back thats all.

1/9/23 $375 for a boot on my vehicle. They say its for a commercial vehicle. There has never been any communication from HOA that commercial vehicles can not park here. There are no signs anywhere. It is not a commercial vehicle, only magnets. They were supposed to send $200 back to me since I put the triangle where its supposed to go. Its been 20 days and no refund. Park It Right uses a loophole in ******** Law in order to be able to charge exorbitant fees, boot and tow cars without proper notice or signage about parking regulations, and they refuse to talk on the phone or in person if there are issues. Victoria was visiting a private property with pre-established parking rules that we are contracted to enforce.

******** parked her vehicle in a Fire Lane and was subsequently immobilized.

It is the responsibility of the owner/resident/guest to know and comply with the parking rules of the property.
Everyone is required to follow the same parking rules and process of release. There are no exceptions.

All owners of immobilized vehicles are provided with immediate access to pay for Remote Release by scanning the ** code or following the *** link provided on the lock to be on their way within minutes.
Victoria demanded special treatment and refused to follow the parking rules or process of release.

Park It Right observes the violation without bias.
Park It Right was transparent with the necessary information to release the boot.
Park It Right responded to every email/ chat inquiry within minutes as can be seen from the attached documents already provided by ********. She was informed several times that all correspondence is conducted through email to keep a written record due to the inconsistencies of a violator's story.

********'s vehicle was booted correctly and in accordance with the parking rules of the property. The violation fine is non-negotiable and will not be refunded.
The deposit refund will be processed within **** business days, excluding weekends and bank holidays, per the terms and conditions.

As can also be seen in the email thread provided by ********, the Property Manager/ HOA has also refused to refund the violator because the vehicle was immobilized correctly for parking in a fire lane.

Park It Right is exempted from the law because we have proven to be an ethical and efficient company.  Park It Right is not a tow company and does not impound vehicles.

    Complaint: 18824338

I am rejecting this response because:

I was ticketed for a fire lane violation, yet I had no way to know that the entire street is considered a fire lane. According to ******** Law, a vehicle cannot be booted or towed if proper signage is not in place at the time the vehicle parks. The No Parking signs on *************** do not indicate that the entire street is a fire lane. There are no painted hash marks on the street or the curb. At the most, I should have been ticketed for parking in a no parking zone. I should never have been ticketed for parking in a fire lane. Please see the attached document that references requirements for posting of fire lanes by the ************************ in case you are unfamiliar with them.

I also need Park It Right to recognize that their intimidation tactics and the lack of any way to dispute their tickets are business practices that will continue to cause them to have complaints filed against them.

on December 19th, this company charged my card $750 when they should have charged $210. *** contacted multiple times about the issue with no response back. When I finally contacted the property manager, he said it wasn't his problem and that the charge would remain. The incorrectly charged and are now refusing to handle the situation.

I am rejecting this response because:
I did not add two lock codes. I had ONE VEHICLE THERE. One vehicle lock code was given to my lock. You were unauthorized to charge two charges for my ONE vehicle. Ive emailed and called MULTIPLE times with no successful conversation yet you respond to this message through the BBB.
Upon looking at the other complaints, seems this is a common occurrence for you to complete fraudulent charges.
    Sincerely,
