I cant believe after 2 years and not renewing our contract, they took it upon there self to charge me double the price a month. Then when I try to cancel, ****, a** that he is doesnt listen to me after arguing over 30 minutes to his ********. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I ordered the *** Channel for 4 monthly installments of $24.99 a month, for 4 months. They charged me $35 for 4 charges- on one ****! Refused to reimburse me! Blamed it on the frontier bundle I had- it wasnt frontier that supplies ***!!! NEVER AGAIN! Streaming only from now one!DISH Network, LLC

However, you stated that you were charged $35.00 four times in the first month. You requested that we refund these payments.As a courtesy, I have refunded three of these $35.00 charges for a total of $105.00. Please allow seven to ten business days for processing. When we told DISH that we had changed to another TV provider, I had to speak to two customer service agents who said we were breaking our contract with them. I said we never had a contract and they both repeatedly said we did. When I finally said to cancel because I wasnt discussing it anymore and that they were falsely claiming we had a contract to keep our business, the second agents admitted we did not have a contract and that our signature was not on a contract. Im certain they had been trained to lie about contracts so people would not cancel but openly being deceiving is people is not the way to do business.DISH Network, LLC

You indicated you did not consent to a new commitment and you disputed the **** When we spoke, I Informed you that the call from January 4, 2022, was reviewed in which your husband, *****************************, requested the equipment be upgraded. He was informed of a new 24-month commitment and he agreed to it. Although the early termination fee is valid, I offered to waive it in the interest of customer service, and you accepted the offer.We will send you a shipping label to return the leased equipment (receivers and remotes only). Disconnected my service and requested a return kit. Was charged $12.47 for a return kit that I have not received. Called 8/15 TO INQUIRE WHERE IT IS. Was told it will be mailed to me 8/19 and will arrive in 9 days. If mailed to me on 8/22, it will take 12 days to receive. Equipment must be returned by 9/15 or charged for the equipment. Why is this company allowed to operate their business like this? They **** up half of the time they give me to return the equipment and expect me to drop everything to send it in time. They also did not give me notice that contract is expired. They just charge twice the amount I was paying. Half of their cable lineup is music channel and infomercials. Basically, I paid for regular network channels for $115/month.DISH Network, LLC

Since you had not received it by August 15, 2022, you called to inquire about the status, and you were told it would be shipped on August 19, 2022. You were concerned you would not receive it in time to return it by the date it needed to be received, which was September 15, 2022.When we spoke on August 30, 2022, I apologized that the account closure and equipment return process was not more clearly explained. This service provided horrible online support when I attempted to cancel my account. They badgered me and wouldn't stop attempting to change my mind. The representative was rude and wouldn't stop. Also, very condenscending.DISH Network, LLC

Called to renew our service after moving. Told the customer service rep that we wanted the dish installed on a pole due to a new roof. Technician had several excuses why he couldnt put it onto a pole. Which we know is wrong from previous installation. My husband told him to finish his installation and leave. Technician started proclaiming that hes the best in the world and continued to walk towards him in a threatening manner. My husband had to threaten to get his firearm before the technician left saying a few choices words. Already complained to Dish about this.DISH Network, LLC

We signed up for Dish in March when they had their promotion for a $400 **** gift card. We were told that we would be receiving it after the dish was installed. That was on March 30th. It is 19 weeks out and still nothing. Their customer service is awful! I have been told that I am dumb and I dont know what I am talking about. I wish I had read the reviews for this company before signing up. I NEVER would have had it installed.DISH Network, LLC

Dish has been after us for a long time to switch from ********* to Dish. When a terrific PROMO came up we decided to switch. Ordered the 120 Channel package and set a date for setup on July 26, 2022. The Tech, *** from "LINK US" came and set up the system but it would not work for more than a few minutes and the **** never did work. *** remarked that it might be a defective receiver but it worked before he left so he quit working on it. He said he would return the next day late. He came the next day at noon and said he wasn't feeling well. He decided that the receiver was faulty but he had no new receivers so he brought in an upgraded ****** Sling and installed it after talking to his office with them agreeing not to charge for the upgrade. He left and soon after the system stopped working again. We called the **** Tech Support the next day for help and the Tech said he would have to set up another work order for a Tech to come out again. We went without any TV for 5 days. The entire process was very stressful and we are not at all happy with Dish concerning their equipment, personnel and lack of documentation. No channel guides and no material explaining how the remotes etc. worked. We had no instruction at all! So we NEVER had a complete system setup at all. The ****** worked only sporatically as did one remote and the **** NEVER worked at all as well as the remote that went with it. I don't believe that I owe Dish a single *****. We have cancelled **** and have the equipment here ready to return. We shouldn't have to pay for shipping boxes or the shipping costs if **** wants their equipment back. This whole situation was bad without a single instance of a smooth process. We want to be sure that others know how **** can work depending on personnel and equipment. We also do not want any hassle over cancelling early after the complete lack of professionalism and malfunctioning equipment. Nothing that was promised was ever fulfilled.DISH Network, LLC

You said that you should not be responsible for any cancellation and/or return shipping fees, or owe any more money.My attempts to contact you by phone on September 7 and 8, 2022, were unsuccessful, but I left a voice message with my contact information. A review of your account reflects that on August 21, 2022, you attempted to disconnect it and after being informed of early termination and equipment return fees, you placed your account on DISH Pause instead. Your account then went into a non-payment disconnection on September 6, 2022 (after automatically restarting when DISH Pause expired, as we did not receive payment).As an exception, I waived your early termination and return shipping fees. I also disconnected your account and zeroed out the balance. We will send equipment return boxes to the service address. Watch out for a "slam" with DISH. Twice they have enhanced their charges to my "auto pay" account. First, they added a program I did not authorize, which resulted in increased charges. I didn't notice it for 3 months as I don't see the **** (my husband does). Many calls and transfers to customer relations, and they eventually credited my account. I just renewed my contract with them for an agreed upon amount new base fee ($80.07). The first charge to my "auto-pay" was $10 higher than agreed upon ($90.07) (This time I was paying attention!) I filed a "misinformation dispute" claim, my only recourse they said. Today they called and advised me "my claim was valid." And offered me $10 off my (enhanced) monthly rate, which would take me back to the original agreed upon rate of $80.07. What kind of a ploy is this? I told them they needed to honor the agreed upon base rate .... not offer me $10 off to "get me there." Seems fishy to me. Like them not wanting to admit they employ deceptive practices. You stated that you were contacted and advised that your misinformation dispute claim was valid, so an additional credit was added to your account to be applied monthly through the term of your commitment. However, you feel as though the $10.00 credit, while it adjusts your monthly payment to what you agreed, is not right.Since you were not available to discuss this matter on the phone, we communicated via email. I explained that I could not locate the program you referenced that was added to your account without authorization. On August 15, 2022, we received your review, dated August 10, 2022, filed with the Better Business Bureau.You expressed concern with your service.When we spoke on August 24, 2022, you said you did not like the service because we have no sports programming; however, you could not provide specific programs or events. I informed you that I listened to your recorded calls. I found that the agents you spoke with attempted to identify your concerns, but you did not wish to discuss specifics.I offered to reduce your early termination fee, but you said that you had filed a dispute with your card issuer. Therefore, I explained that nothing could be done while the dispute is in process (which could take up to 60 days), and I advised you to keep my contact information. If the resolution is found in DISH Networks favor, I will honor my offer. I also waived your remaining account balance of $46.20.
