      The worst company I have ever experienced! From their terrible customer service, to signing you up for services without your knowledge, to trying to charge you for any service request even when it's their fault! Service goes down frequently, both tv and internet. If you have to call customer service, good luck, and be prepared to call several times to get anything resolved. They refuse to provide anything in writing and their "great deal" they give you ratchets up without your knowledge. I have been promised repeatedly they cancelled my service but for some reason no one can provide anything in writing that it has actually been cancelled. If you have any other option, chose the other option.

      They used to be the best and now they are the worst! Constant outages for internet and phone. I work from home and these constant internet problems is very frustrating. I've been with WOW for a great many years but I'm ready to switch.

      my business has been with wow for almost 3 years and fulfilled the initial contract but when i called to cancel they are trying to bill me for balance of 3rd year of contract. This is extortion, they cant bill for services not received in their self proclaimed auto renewal period....31. Term and Renewal. The term of the Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and be for the period specified in the Business Customer Agreement or Service Order (or, if not so specified, the term shall be one (1) year), following the Service Commencement Date (the Initial Term). Upon expiration of the Initial Term, the Agreement (including each applicable Business Customer Agreement or Service Order)

      +$150 disconnect fee not stated in contract. I own none of their hardware and had to return zero equipment. Gross and excessive charging. Will file report with all consumer helplines and watch dogs.

      Stiffed on Promotional Promise, because I didnt report it soon enough.Supposed to get $300 Gift Card after 3 months of service. I never received it.Called to cancel my service a year later. They asked why I was cancelling. I said, I found cheaper service and you stiffed me on my Gift Card.They showed that I was supposed to get it, but since I waited so long to complain about it, I guess that meant that I was no longer owed it. I wish my debt worked like that. Loyal customer gets Jipped. Plus their service was not very good. We had lots of problems and the bills kept going up,They were only going to make it right if I kept my service with them. That doesnt seem fair. I did my part to begin with and they didnt hold up their end of the bargain. Crappy.

      This is the worst internet company Ive ever had to deal with. I received my return equipment box over a MONTH after I cancelled my service, and was never given a time frame on when to return the equipment. I do not live close to a ***** center so finding the time to drop off the equipment was difficult as I work from home. Randomly was billed for $420+ out of nowhere, so I called customer service regarding a refund, which I was then told I would receive a refund ***** hours after I returned my equipment. Its been 4 DAYS and I never got a refund- mind you Im only being refunded for the $400 and not the random extra $20 charge. Called customer service again and they said to wait **** BUSINESS DAYS until they received the equipment. This is absolutely ridiculous. Not only was I lied to on the phone about my refund, I was never going to receive it unless I made a refund request. Not to mention again the random $20 they decided to steal from me. Im low income and not having this $400 puts me in jeopardy of losing my home, so not getting the refund in a timely manner is absolutely scummy. If you can, avoid WOW at all costs.

      I used WOW for 2 years and moved locations to where WOW wasn't offered so I cancelled my service in December of 2022. My wife and I are trying to buy a house so I go to get pre-approved and I have a bill in collections from WOW from April of 2023. FOUR MONTHS after my account was closed they randomly sent me a bill with no phone call, text, email, nothing. Trying to rectify this situation has been miserable. They said that this was a mistake (obviously) and I keep getting told that the problem is taken care of but I need a written form of assurance for the loan. This is apparently impossible. They hang up on both me and my wife when we start asking questions they don't know the answers to and not a single one of the customer service reps speak understandable English.Randomly billing a former customer for no reason and not even communicating that there is a bill has to be illegal. I mean this is ridiculous. This company is horrible.

      If I could do zero stars I'd be elated. It's no surprise they have the absolute minimum BBB rating. Horrible customer service, my internet goes out almost monthly, sometimes due to a late bill, despite setting up auto-pay multiple times over the phone. They never set it up, they keep disconnecting me from my service, and their tech support knows less than you. I've called at least 20 times in the last two years just to get them to fix my internet. I also pay for 1000Mbps and have never received more than 900Mbps and generally hover around 400-500Mbps. Never have I gotten any sort of reimbursement for being scammed out of half of my data. Let alone for all the inconvenience and downtime I've experienced. If you work for home, or need reliable internet, Wowway is the last company on the list I would ever recommend. They're only usable as a last resort, and I can't wait to move to a place that has Xfinity.

      Absolutely terrible customer service. ******* (employee number ******) was extremely impatient and rude with me on the phone. He kept interrupting me while I was on the phone with him about a DNS issue on the ISP's end. He offered no alternative methods to fix this issue. I rely on home internet for work and school. I have had nothing but trouble with their service since September of 2020. I have finally cancelled service today. Although I paid my bill for another full month today, they will be terminating my service in two weeks. Effectively, they have provided terrible customer service, internet service, and now they have stolen money from me. Do not give your money to this company. One star is too many.

      Horrible internet service and horrible customer service.Wow seems to not care about customer issues and keeps saying just reboot the modem.Wow needs to figure out why the network is not reliable.
