      I was approved for the government program for ***** off my internet. Since I was approved for it my wow cable bill went up ***** I have made several calls to wow asking why my bill went up ***** after I received a ***** dollar ***** and nobody can answer me? My bill was cheaper before the government *****. They are a shady company and I believe they owe me money and are scant less. My bill just keeps going up and its ridiculous!

      Only internet provider in my area and provides services to everyone around me, but wont provide services to my particular house. Neighbors on all 4 sides of my property have services yet skip my house and no one has a reason why!

      ACCOUNT DISPUTE CHARGE & sent to COLLECTIONS AGENCY FOR EQUIPTMENT RETURNED. I called & request to discontinue services in Dec 2022 due to price increase, as I am elderly and on fixed income. The company was contacted sent me a return label for equipment via US mail. I received it Jan 2023 and I boxed up & returned the equipment, with their label and handed it to my postman who scanned it in. I followed up with main office # on my bill and spoke to *** who confirmed my equipment was received. In Feb 2023 I started getting more bills for the equipment, and numerous calls I placed to them I got the run around and they just wanted me to pay again. I keep getting bills and bills and keep calling n calling, and now have been turned over to a collection agency. This seems to be some type of elder scam they have going on. I'm an honest person and did return the equipment with the label they sent me. I want the matter thoroughly reviewed for resolution. Remove this from my account zero balance/close the collection agency you sent me to/correct my credit report I have perfect credit and stop trying to take advantage of senior citizens. THIS IS WRONG.

      AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We completed our contract with them, did not sign anything to renew the contract, and they are charging us $700 to terminate our relationship with them because we had their equipment that we returned. They have terrible service and are not worth dealing with in any situation.

      Wow is the worst service I've ever had. Unfortunately, we are under contract where we live with them only. They do nothing to help you if you have issues, the customer service reps do not know how to handle any problems, and the service itself goes out constantly. I have had it for three months and they have charged me a different amount each time. When called, they tell me they have "fixed" it. The next month comes, and yet again there is a different amount. For the last two days, I've been getting speeds of 1 to 15 mbps. I pay for 200. When I call, there is no ETA of when the service will be restored. If you can get anyone else, avoid these crooks at all cost.

      Last year Wowway had to replace my line from the pole to my house. Since then Ive had poor speed test and my streaming services are always buffering. I spoke with them a week or two back and told them its acted up since they were here last year. They sent out a tech and he replaced my modem. I was charged a few Pennies from $70 and I called to ask why yesterday. The rep said since they had to replace the modem I wouldnt be charged and I will get a refund. I told the rep that I still am having issues with poor internet connection. She directed my call to a tech suppose person and they set up an appointment. The tech arrived today and said he spoke with his boss and there was work being done in the area and that was the reason for my poor speed. He checked everything and said it was fine. I was still reading 650 download speed when its supposed to be **** and all that was online at the time was my smart tv. The rep I spoke with about this additional charge refused to take it off my bill and would not let me speak to her supervisor at that time. She informed me it will be ***** hours and I will get a call back. I am canceling my service and I already have a new provider coming Friday. I told her I would cancel and I would write a review and she said Okay.

      If there was a less than 1 star i would leave it. A Wow salesman ***************************** came to my door telling me that he wanted my business back and asked who my current provider was and how much I pay with them my husband told him everything and he promised that he could accommodate with similar services He gave of his card and we called him and set up an install date.the next day the man dropped off a modem and said all we would need is cable wires to hook up to the tv sets and to plug un the modem. So I went to ********** spent 40 dollars in New wires and splitters only to find out that wasn't the case. When. We called Wow customer servce they. Said that was their deal for just streaming NOT for internet and cable if we wanted internet and cable it would cost 3 times as much ?? why would I leave my current provider to pay more .So now we have to call back our previous provider and explain what happened because Wow cut our cable line from them and we will now be stuck with a reactivation fee and have to wait for my previous cable company to reconnect my cable WOW not only lied but cost me money I don't have an my time Very upset

      Their prices are arbitrary. One customer could be paying a certain amount for the same (say internet speed) service as another who pays less or more. Every year your arbitrary price will increase regardless if it was a contract price or limited time or not. Every year I have to call and negotiate my bill, complain, threaten to leave for another ISP (which forces me to go look at at competitor pricing) so I'm not being overcharged. I have a remainder in my phone to do this before I get a SURPRISE ****. Why do I have to talk with a person who asks me how many wifi or internet device are connected? Especially, if I had no problem with the current speed I'm at. WHY can't their service be like ******* or any other monthly subscription where they have set tiers of service they provide and there is no variance between customers subscribing to the same tier of service in price. WHY the whole rigamarole of contract/special pricing for a year or 6 months whatever. It's a plague between ******* and WOW that my family has been dealing with for decades before I even could pay or had a household to require their services.What motivated me to review is that I recently got a $1 charge for "additional wow services". They claim "As a reminder, Effective March 1, 2023, WOW!implemented a $1 Network Enhancement Fee, which is not a government tax or fee, and is in addition to other charges associated with WOW! ******** services. This fee recovers some of the costs associated with Network improvements, security and maintenance.". What am I already paying my bill for?! The system, technology, and infrastructure for their system is already in place. I'm paying for their service, their internet, their pricing should reflect costs to maintain and update their systems! They randomly decide to charge their 1.5+ million customer in ******** a $1 extra onto their bill..... ***** nilly. I've had enough. I CANT WAIT FOR MOBILE CARRIERS TO BE THEIR COMPETITION FOR HOME INTERNET

      UNETICAL does not even begin to describe this company. After years of service I noticed throttling so bad I could not do my job (I work from home). After having numerous chats with the tech team and being gaslight that I didn't know what I was reading (I work in tech I know how to measure speed) , as well as being charged hundreds of dollars to have techs come out and tell me their lines were ancient, I gave up and disconnected my service 3/3/23. On 3/28/23 I received a bill for services from 3/22/23-4/21/23,upon calling WOW again, I was told that my disconnection request from 3/3/23 did not go through due to a glitch in their system. They supposedly issued a credit to my account for the fictious bill, and would send the return box for my devices to be sent back. Having yet to receive said email on how to retrieve my credit or shipping box, I called again 4/4/23 to check the status, in which I was told yet again a glitch in their system must have happened because I was still showing as an active customer. I provided the confirmation codes once again and was told no, they have no record. This company is scamming users by refusing to disconnect them, so they can bill them continuously, the exact definition of unethical! 0 STARS

      Horrible Horrible Horrible customer service!!!!! If I could leave no stars I would. Just called the sales team because we were truly thinking about switching over from the current internet provider. At first, the sales agent was helpful and answered all of my questions but when I told him I wanted to think about it (because I was calling on behalf of my elderly mother and needed to run it by her and she wants time to think it through) and the sales rep begins to get EXTREMELY aggressive. Raising his voce screaming saying why would I waste his time when we can just see the prices online. I calmly tried to explain to him that online it didn't go into the details we needed but he continued to cut me off and hung up on me! My mother would rather stick with her current internet that *** be slower than pay a ***** to this company now!!!! I have never in my life experienced a customer service agent as hostile as this!
