0 stars if it were a choice. Next to no help from customer service, they're constantly shorting me on internet speeds. I pay for 1Gbps down and have never got a speedtest hitting over 850Mbps, not to mention countless times stuck under 100Mbps (or even occasionally stuck under 1Mbps) while still being charged full price. Locked in with the only wireless provider in my area I guess. I would never recommend anybody use WOW if you have any other option available. Xfinity has always been good to me, and I'll be switching over as soon as I'm in a supported area or as soon as they come to my area. We used to pay for 600Mbps from them and generally get speedtests at 550-650Mbps (even slightly OVER what we pay for).WOW is a shell of the already awful corporation they once were. Any alternative is better, and I await the day they file for bankruptcy, which is imminent.

UPDATE: Ive been on hold and on/off the phone with this **** company for 4+ hours because they make it impossible to get ahold of anyone to cancel!! STAY AWAY The first tech came to my house and dropped off my info packet as arranged, but never actually swapped my lines over. Instead he just marked that he did and moved onto the next home. So that was a pleasant surprise when I tried to self installonly to find that my spectrum lines were still hooked up. So I called wow and got another install *** on the books (hoping that the first was a fluke and the second would be better). Wrong againagain the tech showed up and didnt complete the install. This time however he noted that it was due to low hanging trees. He noted that he contacted dispatch to have the trees trimmed and in turn wow sent me a follow up message stating that someone else would be coming to my property that same day to correct the trees. No one did, and I received no follow up message after no one showed up.So I called again, stated to the dispatcher what the problem was and explicitly mentioned the tree issue. So again, they set up another apt to get things corrected. Come the day of my aptthe tech calls me and says he cant complete he install due to the trees AGAIN. And mentions that dispatch messed up AGAIN in sending the wrong crew. AGAIN.The tech then set up a tree trimming apt to take place the next day.Because I was out of town the day the tree service came, I attempted to call the *** services number to confirm the tree apt actually happened and reschedule my install *** (FOR THE ***** TIME). Only to find that the dispatcher was completely bamboozled as to how or why trees would need to be trimmed. And couldnt tell me if a tree service was dispatched to correct my issue, he kept claiming that WOW couldnt do that (even though my tech confirmed for me the apt was set AND I received a call from the tree service to confirm my WOW tree trimming service).

WOW turned off my cable after cashing my checks that said "paid in full" on the check I was not late, paid by check every month. Cable quality had diminished consistently over the last few years and they kept trying to raise my price for this poor quality service. Legally if they cash a check that I have written PAID IN FULL, they are accepting that I have paid in full. So they are in breach of contract and have lost a customer that has consistently paid on time for well over 10 years. BYE BYE WOW.

Consistently having outages in my area (Ionia County, ********) I work from home, like many do now these days. Constantly loosing work and productivity because of the outages whether it be minutes or hours long. They also now have a cap on data usage and charge for overages, which is taking advantage of those that work remotely, I guess they see that there was an opportunity to ***** people that work from home. Avoid WOW.

Original faulty equipment was (FINALLY) swapped out that I was charged for even though I was assured I wouldn't be, invoice amounts randomly jumping all over the place instead of what the "promotion" stated and just saw this afternoon its going up by ANOTHER $24 for the next billing cycle. The new equipment is worse than the original and goes out ALL THE ***** although it miraculously didn't go out even ONCE during the Super Bowl... Countless hours on the phone trying to get invoices correctly adjusted. Constantly drops during online curbside grocery orders, Rx orders, telehealth Zoom appointments, and also compromises the safety of my home due to the interruptions of my surveillance system. I intend on getting some of my money back, as I am on a restricted income and this is just WRONG on every level regardless. Just spent another hour and 42 minutes on the phone with **************** trying to get online service back up. From what I calculate, they owe me a minimum refund of $301.18 that they refuse to acknowledge or accept responsibility for. BBB, PLEASE HELP!!!

Ever since we signed up for the service, it has been a ridiculous headache. First, upon choosing the services we were very clear saying that we did not wanted the extra wifi devices due to cost, still when the devices for self-installation arrived we found out that the sales person signed us for for it, against our request, creating an unwanted extra charge. They also sent a different router than what was in the package that we signed up for, with lower quality. We spent several hours on the phone trying to fix the issue. They finally swapped the modem for the correct one and returned the extra devices. Still they did not removed the extra charge from our account nor recognized the return of the devices, even after weeks of return. We requested an investigation, and finally they "found" the returned devices and removed the charge. Also, when we signed up for the service, someone came to get the line up, then someone else came to bury the line, and during that, the line got nipped, but we were not informed of that. We kept having issues with the service. Then a 3rd person came in figured out the problem and did a make-shift temporary solve, under the promise that another person would come to replace the spliced line for a proper one and bury it properly, within 10 days. That was 33 days ago! During that whole time the service has been extremely unreliable and no one comes here to fix it. And of course they are charging their premium full price to a service that is not being provided. Today I'm without internet again, like many times before, and they are using the stoem as excuse. During these 33 days there were many warm and nice days, but no one showed up. According to the customer service I'm the only one without a service because of the line they never fixed. I work from home and this whole situation affect my work and income. It's ridiculous how many times you need to call to solve simple issues or make them accountable or even follow up on their on schedules.

By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. From false charges to false promises I have spent hours on the phone with them and in the end they sent my account to a collection agency while simultaneously admitting I do not owe them anything. Now I get to spend my time dealing with a collection agency. My next step is to *** WOW in small claims court
