Predatory parking measures. I was sent a bill for $55 claiming that I was illegally parked on private property. I have proof and sent over a screen shot from my banking statements indicating that I paid for said parking. Incident occurred on 04/23/2025 and I was only sent notice of this on 06/27/2025. Services claim the I exceeded a ****** period' which does not make sense since I paid for parking. They tried citing some niche terms and conditions rules which are not posted CLEARLY on the property.

We do see that you paid for parking you just didn't pay for the full time on the lot. You only paid for 3 hours and you were on the lot for 3 hours and 35 minutes. This is a flat rate penalty fee for this violation on this lot. It is a valid and upheld notice.

Between March and May 2025, I parked multiple times in Melody **** Lot, always paying using the ** code posted on the signage. I work nearby and consistently left shortly after 6 PM to get to a scheduled class. The posted signage lists a flat rate of $8, with no information whatsoever about time limits, end times, or hourly rates. There is also no warning that additional payment may be required if you stay past a certain time. So I had no way of knowing I was violating any ********* wasnt until I received a citation weeks later that I discovered the app (used via the ** code) defaulted to a 5:30 PM end time. There was no notice of this on-site, and no indication that I was expected to manually re-up my session to avoid penalty. The app has since changed, so I cant even replicate the issuebut it clearly contributed to the *********** Ive received three citations, all for the same reason: staying slightly past 5:30 PM despite having paid. Each citation is $98, which feels entirely disproportionate given the lack of proper communication. I paid in good faith, followed the posted instructions, and had no chance to correct the issue after the first onebecause I wasnt notified until the others had already occurred... 3 months later.I would have accepted one citation of a reasonable amount had any indication been posted about time limits but this is not the case. $294 in penalties for something I couldnt have known is completely unfair.I am asking that the tickets be dismissed to reflect actual rules and time limitations. Customers cannot comply with rules they are never informed of. I am attaching pictures to prove there is no warning about any adjusted time scales beyond 5:30.

My ********** decided to take a road trip to *********** with a rental car. We paid to park in one of the lots. WE PAID and left on time. This business is saying that we didn't. We have the photos for proof. We're reclaiming a refund and disputing it for this "Notice Fee: $102". Their signs are false advertising. Their machine didn't work so we had to use the ** code. We paid. We shouldn't even entered the lot if we knew we would be dealing with this. We're not from ***********. Charging us for parking that WE PAID for and left at the correct time is INSANE, and seems like a scam. We followed the rules, that's why we the car didn't get booted/towed.

I parked at the ********************** Parking Garage on 06/12/202 at 6:53PM. I initially paid for three hours of parking via the Honk QR code. When I realized that I would not make it back in time, I attempted to extend my session or start a new one but repeatedly received an error message. When I arrived back to the garage at 10:51pm, there was no way to retroactively pay for the time. I received a ticket in the mail for $55.00. I am asking for this to be dismissed.

On 6/11/2025, I was issued a parking citation while visiting a relative. I tried to pay for it several days later, but it kept saying invalid information. When I was able to get through the login page, it showed an amount for ****** dollars. I will not be paying this amount because I have visited my relative several times and never received a parking citation. Upon my research, I looked at a photo of my vehicle looked at the date and time. The date and time of the photo does not match the date and time of my citation. Also, my notice number does not match the notice number of the company. Furthermore, I saw reviews of this company, and everyone is having a similar problem. I am looking for a resolution because I do not want to get my lawyer involved in this matter. I will provide photos of my citation and a picture showing the wrong date and time. I have provided evidence below. This company does not seem right and suspicious.

I'm not sure that this is the exact resource for my situation as I never entered a "business relationship" with the company in question, although they are claiming I did. I recieved a notice in the mail on June 12th from Parking Revenue Recovery Services (PRRS) that I had parked in a private lot they owned in *********, **** and failed to pay. They demanded payment of a $102 fine. I live in ************** and was nowhere near ********* on June 1st as the notice claimed. The ticket was made out to an Ohio license plate which was previously registered to my vehicle, however I moved from **** to ************** in August of last year and changed to South Carolina license plates shortly thereafter. All this to say, I knew there had to have been some kind of mistake.I went to the **** website and filed a dispute with the company. On the website I was able to access better pictures than on the paper notice I was mailed, and saw the mistake. The license plate pictured is from ********** rather than ****, and while the digits are nearly identical to mine one letter is different. Additionally, the car pictured is an SUV and I drive a sedan. I told the company this and everything else I mentioned here as well as attaching their own photo from the notice. They rejected this dispute, are still claiming I parked in their lot and never paid, and are demanding I pay a fine of $82 instead. I've attached a picture of the notice I was mailed and the picture their cameras took of the car that parked in their lot and didn't pay. I also added a copy of the email I sent them and their reply. I unfortunately did not save the text of the original dispute I filed on the **** website, but I've attached a copy of the email from **** confirming they received my dispute. I'm just hoping for **** to stop demanding payment from me, not report my "debt" to a debt collector, and not contact me again.

PRRS Parking. I received a notice (#PWRRDU-080375) from Parking Revenue Recovery Services (PRRS) after using a paid parking facility in *******. I paid to park and submitted a valid receipt showing proof of payment. Despite this, **** claimed I did not pay for the full amount of time, without providing a clear explanation or any ***** for a minor overage.I was not in the vehicle during the additional time, and I did not attempt to evade payment. I made a good faith effort to comply, paid for my session, and responded promptly with documentation. **** ignored all context and refused to acknowledge the receipt I provided, instead demanding a $70 penalty, which is excessive and unreasonable given I had already paid.I do not believe this charge is valid or justified and am requesting that it be fully dismissed, not reduced. The companys refusal to acknowledge legitimate payment and their dismissive customer service approach reflects a broader pattern of predatory and unfair practices. I will continue to dispute this through every available channel.I have kept all documentation and am prepared to escalate further if this is not resolved appropriately. I need the charges to be disputed and I already paid to park there through HONK services.

      Business Response

We do see that you paid for parking as you paid for 1 hour. You were on the lot for 1 hour and 44 minutes. This means that there was 44 minutes unpaid and there is no free parking at any time. Once your time expires you are to either pay for additional time or remove your vehicle from the lot. Neither of these was done which is why you received this notice. This is a flat rate penalty fee that is assessed regardless of the amount of time you are over your paid parking session. We will honor the settlement you were already given, but this is upheld.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 07/02/2025

      Complaint: 23540380

I am rejecting this response because:

While I understand your enforcement policy, I want to provide additional context for why my vehicle remained parked beyond the paid time.

Shortly after realizing my session was about to expire, I began walking back to the car to either move it or pay for additional time. Unfortunately, during that walk, I experienced a medical emergency that required immediate attention. I was unable to return to the vehicle myself, and someone else had to come move the car on my behalf. I took a rideshare directly to receive treatment, and the situation understandably delayed my ability to manage the parking time.

This was not an intentional overstay, nor an attempt to abuse your system. I had every intention of either paying for the remaining time or leaving the facility, and I would have done so if not for an unforeseen emergency. The $70 penalty under these circumstances feels unnecessarily harsh, especially since I had already paid and acted in good faith.

Given the nature of the situation, and the fact that I was not even present when the additional 44 minutes elapsed, I again respectfully request that this notice be dismissed in full.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ********

Once again Parking Revenue Recovery Services (PPRS) has tagged one of my cars as "registered late after ***** period" for parking in one of their lots. I paid, I submitted the receipt, yet they still hound me for a $50 fine. Last one was $70 for failure to pay even though I tried to pay repeatedly on the website and then again when I got the notice. They do not answer the phone and they either ignore your emails or threaten with collections and even higher fines. Where is the recourse? You can't get anywhere with these people!

      Business Response

      Date: 07/02/2025

We see that you paid for parking, however, you paid when you were leaving. This is a pre pay lot and you have 20 minutes to pay upon entering the lot. This is the reason you received this notice is that you paid beyond the 20 minutes allowed. You did however, pay for the full time you were on the lot so we have dismissed your parking notice and there is no further action needed.

I parked in a pay-to-park parking lot for roughly 2.5 hours. I paid $15.95 for 2 hours of parking. I left about 30 minutes late as I was not paying attention to the time and did not receive any notifications that my time was expiring. Today, I received a notice in the mail that I owe a $90 fee for a "Notice of Non-Compliance". The notice does not say I left late; it just has the time I entered and the time I left. After doing some research online, this company just preys on people who park and even sends notices to people who did pay and leave within their time frame. $90 for being 30 minutes late is ridiculous, even though it only costs $15 to park for 2 hours.

      Business Response

      Date: 07/02/2025

We do see that you paid for 2 hours of parking, however, you were on the lot for 2 hours and 32 minutes. It is the responsibility of the ****** to pay attention to their paid time. Once your paid time comes up you are to either pay for additional time or remove your vehicle from the lot. Neither of these was done which is why you received the notice. This is a flat rate penalty fee that is assessed regardless of the amount of time you are over your paid parking session. This is valid and we will offer a settlement of $70.00 to close this out.
