      Im losing money want to stop the bleeding and cannot get ahold of anyone. $1000s of dollars gone and yet my account shows a rate of return at over 5%. I have stocks that have dropped 100% according to their profile page. Does nobody do anything with these funds and just take your money to lose it. Customer service email doesnt work either! I feel like Im ******* in the wind with this.

      These people are disorganized, completely lacking in customer support, and have a disfunctional web page. If by some miracle you get a representative on the line, there is no guarantee their conversational English is functional enough to have a useful conversation. If you do manage to convey a need -- even for something as simple as regaining the ability to log into the web page -- my experience is they have no knowledge or ability to actually help. The "Contact Us" link on their webpage doesn't actually link to anything.

      A Nightmare. The voice prompts are endless, simply trying to get a login for my account as required per website dialog boxes. After nearly 15 minutes of automated messages, I was then forwarded to a representative, only to then get disconnected.

      Electronic transactions have a 10 day waiting period. Huh? Funds are clearly posted on both ends. Why is mailing a payment considered more secure?

      You literally will have to produce your dead certificate for this company to refinance your loan. The representatives are rude condescending. I am gathering information for my coworkers to petition my employer to pull us out of empower retirement before they lose more employees. This company is a joke . Ask your potential ‘employer if empower retirement is who they use stay away

      Wow trying to close out deceased son's plan. Try calling customer service multiple times In the beginning they asked to speak to my son, then they wanted me to prove that his daughter (the beneficiary) was alive! Of course I had thought that all was settled after speaking with 4 "managers"But today they broke me, now they have to contact my sons former employer because the plan he has wasn't set up right for a dependant. For 4 years since his death I get a statement which is always a reminder of his passing and just wanted to close it out for the statements to stop The amount is only $700.00 Never ending battle

      Good luck getting any customer service from this **********************. You would think with the high fees they charge for their mediocre retirement plans at very least they would let you speak with a representative during business hours. Well, think again. They have an auto attendant that blocks calls and only offers worthless, generic information. The website is blank today, no data, no navigation and the auto attendant just refers you back to the website. I am beyond disgusted with this company and if it weren't the only choice through my employer, I would have never opened an account.

      Been trying to open a self directed brokerage account in my Deferred Comp Plan. Website application process would not work, so I uploaded the required paper forms. The company confirmed the application was received in good order and everything looked good. I was told the application would be approved within 2 business days. That was 15 days ago. Contact #3 I was told the application was marked critical and should be approved *************** #4, still not set up and still pending waiting for some mystery person to approve the account. In the mean time, I'm losing $ by not being able to transfer funds to the self directed account and purchase some good performing equities. Very sad, probably the worst run company I have every delt with in 40 yrs. But I'm stuck with them until my employer listens to us and changes retirement plan providers. Hopefully soon!

      If there were no stars to be given! They wouldve got nothing! They are the absolute worst! Bottom of the ****** worst! My husband applied for a hardship loan and they gave him the run arounds for a week straight! We submitted documents and it still wasnt enough! We spoke to several people and no one was willing to help, just kept apologizing! We were trying to avoid losing our living space and no one gave a ****! Some many of us are trying to play catch up after the pandemic and its sad that you have to beg for something you worked hard for! Im gonna make sure that they dont get another dime of his money! Even if he has to store his retirement in a shoe box, it would be ten times better than this company! Heartless b******! Now watch them go under each comment and pretend they wanna help, they never will so save it!

      Just as I stated! They would come back with a generic response! The company couldnt help based off the information Id given is what they replied. Just full of it! I hope this company goes under. I swear! Oh and if you these reviews are bad, go check out the yelp reviews! They are doing this to ppl all over the place. Just trash!
